This was a weird mix of omegaverse and the rock star trope and it didn't...totally blend well for me, I guess. Add in a fake dating relationship scenario and the feeling of being dropped in amongst a bunch of characters I didn't know and it just felt like a lot was going on.

But perhaps that's my fault for not reading book one first. Maybe the world-building was all done there? If so, I salute the author as she definitely didn't rehash any of it here. So I'm not knocking this book on that front since the jury is still out on that.

I did enjoy this well enough while reading it and perhaps will come back and re-read this after reading book one.

Fourth Base with The Alpha was another sweet story. I loved Hunter and Isabella; their connection was immediate, and the fake dating was so much fun. I'm really enjoying this series and I look forward to the next one.

I don't read a lot of "fake dating" trope books but I knew Hannah Haze wouldn't let me down and she didn't. Hunter is a grumpy alpha and Isabella is a sunshine omega. I think the best part is that they didn't actually resist one another, their "fake it til you make it" story made this story so sweet. They were naturally drawn together, it was a perfect fit. Hunter was broody but never towards Isabella which made me like this story more. Although he was "fake dating" Isabella for his career, he never took it out on or disrespected her. This was another favorite from Hannah Haze.

Mr Grumpy and Ms Partly Cloudy

During an interview Hunter speaks before he thinks. He tells the world he has a girlfriend, when in fact he doesn’t. His people scramble to come up with a story and to find him a fake girlfriend. Isabella just started working as a PA to Kim who is in charge of the band. Kim suggests that Isabella do it since she could use the money to pay off some old medical bills of her sister.
What started out as fake quickly blurred into real. These two were cute together. He helped mend her broken heart and she helped him embrace love. This ends in a HFN with an extended epilogue.
This series has been so good! I can’t wait for Trey to get his HFN.

GIVE ME A FAKE DATING TROPE AND I AM HERE FOR IT ALL DAY LONG!

I love Hunter's progression throughout this story. When he lies about having a GF they have to scramble to figure out who they could pay to be his fake girl. In comes bright and sunny Isabella who has a love for music, a big heart, and a booty to die for.

He doesn't plan to fall for her. He's got issues, family issues, and he's shut off, but slowly she opens him up and makes him see the world in a different light.

Hands down fav quote: "I want this to be so good for her that she'll never let me go."

I love the family theme in this story. She has a family that she loves and agrees to be the fake GF to pay off debts. He hasn't had the best family life. Neither of them expected to fall in love, but that's exactly what happened.

This series is one of my absolute favorites from Hannah and honestly, I hope it never ends! I love it to pieces! *me sitting on my hands patiently waiting for the next book*

Loved this sweet omegaverse. I adored Isabella, her mom and grandma were hilarious. Hunter is a grumpy alpha with a chip on his shoulder who wasn’t shown love by the people he needed it from the most. Normally I’m not the biggest fan of fake dating but this was done in a way where I really enjoyed it 🙌🏻 Also the heat scenes and over all spice was hot 🥵

ARC REVIEW

While reading this book, I realized I really enjoy the fake dating trope, because tension!!!!!!! BUT, it comes with a bit of miscommunication and that’s a trope I don’t like! Regardless, this book was great, it also includes grumpy-sunshine and Alpha Rockstar! I love Hannah’s writing! It simple, straight to the point and easy to read! She manages to give her characters and the story depth even if the book is on the medium-short side! I also love the use of other languages in books, but I like to understand what I’m reading so I would’ve liked the translations to be included somehow in the text! I do recommend this sweet MF Omegaverse romance if you enjoy the previously mentioned tropes! This is book 3 in the series but can be read as a standalone!

So, I was so excited for this ARC. It's a bit different than what I usually read (usually I'm a PNR kinda Alpha story or Hannah's In With the Pack series) and it did not disappoint!!
The FMC is so relatable and quirky and funny, but shes like that because of some of her past experiences and with how it's all explained her character portrayal is really spot on.
I also read this as a standalone (hadn't gotten into this series yet) and I understood the settings, the characters, plot, etc. So, dont let that deter you. If you just wanna read this one, you can.
Also, I should state I read this on an airplane and iykyk. 😇
All in all, it's a great book and I cant wait to see if we get another one!! Thank you Hannah!! 🥰🥰

Fourth Base With The Alpha by Hannah Haze is the third book in The Alpha Rock Stars Series. We meet Isabella, an Omega, who works for Kim - we've met Kim in previous books in this series. She is The Pack's assistant. Hunter is in need of a fake girlfriend and Kim thinks Isabella is just the right person. This is a sweet, fun Omegaverse rock star romance. No bullying. No cheating. I just loved Isabella and Hunter together. Isabella is a fun loving, sweet omega who loves her family. Hunter is grumpy, surly and doesn't get along with most of his family. So sweet. Loved it. I also loved seeing the rest of the band in the background. The epilogue was great!

Look I think I’m at a point where if Hannah puts something out, I’m gonna read. I was sent and arc of this book two days ago and devoured the first 2 books and the bonus chapters immediately before finally reading this today. I straight up could not put these books down. I honestly wish these were longer and I could get an additional 100+ pages of pure fluff because my god I’m obsessed. This book not only does a great job with the fake dating but you also have the grumpy/sunshine mixed in there as well and I am quite frankly here for it. I’m only upset because now I need more lol

Adorable, fun, heartwarming!
Hunter is far from lighthearted at the beginning of the book but by the end Isabella makes his heart soar. I know that was cheesy, but it's so true. The way he starts to open up and experience life again with her at his side really is beautiful. Isabella, even through her grief, has a way of lighting up a room. She's heartfelt and real but not obnoxiously so. The fake dating trope is a favorite of mine and this book definitely delivered. I can't wait to see what's next for the Pack. Looking at you Trey.

Hannah Haze did a great job on Fourth Base with the Alpha, the story was written well, the plot was strong, Isabella and Hunter were strong, I enjoyed their story. Hunter and Isabella's relationship may have started out way way but it soon became so much more, the two were made for each other, they completed each other in a way that both needed, they were good together, the attraction was strong just like the connection they shared, their chemistry was sexy and sweet. Isabella and Hunter were truly made for each other.

Loved it!
This book gave me all the feels! It was such a sweet read, with a side of spice. There was humor, angst and steam! I loved watching the relationship between Hunter and Isabella develop. Isabella was truly the light to his darkness. I loved the ending(specifically the last sentence)...the perfect HEA!

Hunter and Isabella were just a joy! I really liked that they were tell it like it is people. If you want a sweet spicy omegaverse with some grumpy sunshine vibes that look no further.

Sexy rockstar, Omegaverse AND the fake dating trope?!



Hannah Haze hit several of the tropes I adore in this book, it was cute, omegaverse, fake dating and generally a lovely read. Isabella is an assistant, a sweet girl who lost her sister not too long ago. Her boss is assistant to Hunter, the nordic alpha bassist. When he slips up during an interview saying he has a girlfriend, they convince Isabella to play the part of a doting girlfriend for a while.

... You see where this is going, right? You know where it's going but I still LOVED the ride. Fun, charming and amusing. I am a sucker for sweet Omegaverse!

This book is a mix of different tropes from Omega and Alpha, to rockstar romance, fake dating, with grumpy/sunshine thrown in. The characters will have you turning the pages and draw you in rooting for them, it’s got angst, it’s got sweet and spicy and has action thrown into the mix for good measure!

This book was sooo good.

But I am so disappointed that Trey was just dumped at the sidelines like a used condom. I mean, he is part of “the pack”, part of the band. Right? This series ended on a complete sour note for me.

Hannah Haze is a go to author for me for Sweet Omegaverse. I discovered her through her RH series, but I quickly moved on to the Rockstar series and I'm loving it! This one has one of my favorite (admittedly of many) tropes Grumpy/Sunshine and add in some faking dating and there was just no way I wasn't going to love it! Isabella and Hunter were just so stinkin' cute together! Forth Base the Alpha is a great addition to the series, but can easily be read as a standalone, but do yourself a favor and read the whole series you won't regret it! Can't wait for more

I’m usually not one who likes the fake dating trope but this book doesn’t feel as typical as the others. I found it to be a unique and wonderful approach to fake dating.

The FMC Isabella is so cute and i wish I had her around as a bestie in my life.

Hunter is a cinnamon roll hottie who I loved for Isabella.
