Derek, D to his friends, and Delta to the Alpha of the Wiltshire Pack had a secret past. A painful secret, which meant he could never submit to his Alpha, and when trouble came knocking, he was at the top of the challenging pack’s hitlist. He scented his mate a year ago, back in Ireland, right when all hell broke loose. He thought he’d lost her forever, and he certainly never expected her to find her way to the pack he’d settled with, so far from home.
Delilah ran after her pack imploded when their Alpha was murdered, and shifters started dying. She and her friend Julia were being hunted, and the Wiltshire Pack’s Alpha had gained a reputation for being enough of a badass that they made their way there to find a home, and safety from the evil following them.
Catching the scent of her mate again, Delilah couldn’t understand why he kept pushing her away, but she was determined to find out. Unfortunately the past was coming for them all, and threatening the lives of the entire Wiltshire pack. Can D and Delilah put aside the past, and pull together in time to face the coming threat together? And if not, can the Wiltshire Pack fend off one of the most brutal packs they’ve ever seen?
This book is part 2 in a completed trilogy, with books 1 and 3 available now! Please note this is PNR with dark themes, and may contain triggering content. This is not omegaverse, and there is no knotting.
Mia Fury is the alter ego of an established PNR writer, who ventured into the darker waters, and decided to stay.
The Bennett brothers are her proudest creation to date, but keep an eye out for more, unrelated, books coming soon too. Dark, naughty, and steamy, are promised.
After finishing Asher (and loving it), I couldn't wait to dive into Derek's book and it did not disappoint!
If you've read book 1 you already know that Derek is the Delta of the Wiltshire Pack, but don't let his delta status fool you. He's strong and loyal, and will do whatever it takes to protect his loved ones. His past (and the memories that go with it) haunt him every day, but within those memories lies a scent he can't forget. The scent of his mate... a scent he thought he'd smell again...and now it's at his front door.
Delilah and her friend Julie are on the run. Since the fall of their Alpha, their pack has faced nothing but internal strife and d€ath and anyone who tries to leave is branded a deserter. After being denied refuge from other packs, the last thing she expects is for the Wiltshire Pack to welcome them with open arms...or to scent her mate.
Derek definitely met his match (and mate) with Delilah. She was so feisty and like Derek, very protective of her loved ones. They both gave as good as they got, and I loved how that was a trait that only heightened their attraction. And don't even get me started on Derek's d0minänt side in the bedroom (or anywhere really 🥵). He more than earned Delilah's sübm!ssion, yet even as she sübm!tted, she still had that feisty side that was so Delilah.
These two were perfect for each other. Loved their story and can't wait to read Jase's (book 3)
Mia Fury knows how to write dark romance. Her men are so swoon-worthy that it makes it difficult to compare them in real life. I keep adding her book boyfriends to my list of favorites. Derek is a sexy alpha male who is bogged down by his past. His grief and fear leeches into the present, causing him to make some unwise decisions. Delilah is on the run from her previous pack, desperate to find a place to belong. When the past and the present collide it erupts in some serious drama. Add in some previous characters from book one and you have a mix of wonderful banter and hilarious arguments. As always Mia’s books are well-rounded and entertaining. Don’t miss this one!
Hold on to your pants or you might find them off when reading Derek. Definitely, book Boyfriend material.
Derek, is book that is a non-stop read. In these pages you'll find action, heart break, some serious smoking hot sex scenes, love, beautiful love and much more.
If wolf shifters are your thing, I highly recommend this book and the other 2 in the series. 5 stars read for sure.
I really loved this book. Book 2 and they just keep getting better. I'm still in live with Asher but Derek wow. He is one possessive alpha and his dirty talk is hot. Can't wait to get stuck in to Book 3 loved it.
In my opinion, Derek's story with Delilah is better than Asher and Mina's, but they are both great stories!!! Delilah is so feisty, I love her!!! Good amount of spice too 😁🔥
Having read the first book in this series and absolutely loving it, I was pretty sure I’d also love this. Who am I kidding Mia Fury is a magician with the written word. I loved going back and seeing Asher and Mina’s story unfold further, but more than that we got a front row seat to Derek. What a guy!! We got a taste of the pain from his past in Asher’s story but to see it in technicolour focus you realise his pain and suffering at losing his only family in such a vicious way. You get to see the consequences of his actions after that point, and how it affected so many people in its aftermath. I love his abruptness. Who doesn’t like a stood, grumpy man with a heart of gold so deeply buried he’s not sure it even exists. I love that he found his home with Asher’s pack. Somewhere he could belong in peace and with unwavering support. Without committing a faux pas may I say I sooooo loved Derek’s dark and dirty side. What a lucky lady Delilah is!! The steam and appeal rolls off Derek and consumes the pages, you can’t help but be transfixed. Delilah is a total badass. I loved her sassy and fiery nature. Her unwillingness to be a subservient to Derek’s every word. I loved that she had a mind of her own and she wasn’t afraid to use it. Despite that she succumbs to Derek’s dominant behaviour in the bedroom and let me tell you guys, that was HOT!! I sincerely wasn’t sure if my kindle was going to ignite before my eyes. My heart bled for her loss, I just wanted to hug her and reiterate what everyone else said about her not being at fault. I think she’s an exceptional addition to the pack. So strong and brave. As protective over Derek as he is of her. She blended perfectly in amongst the other members. Her ability to accept the actions that started the whole ball of pain and suffering going was so heartwarming. Her feelings for Derek overriding everything. Mia Fury has certainly given me back my buried love for PNR. I love the fact that everyone is as much in their human form as their wolf form. The difference with this series is that whilst a PNR, it also has a healthy about of Mia Fury magic that’s makes it so special and unique. The storyline pulls you in, accepting your attention and encouraging you walk beside them, their friendship extended without thought. I love the depth Mia puts into her stories. The tangible feelings and emotions that just go straight to your heart. Their story taking you on a wildly addictive rollercoaster you just don’t want to get off. This is a superb series. I seriously can’t wait for the next instalment. If PNR is not your usual go-to, I would encourage you to give this a go. This book and series will pick you up, wake you on the wildest of rides before gently sending you on your way. Cannot recommend highly enough. Another 50 million star review because this wonderfully talented lady gives nothing but 200% to her art.
Wolf shifters and enemies to lovers in one book? Yes, please!
Book two in the Wolves of Wiltshire Pack, did not disappoint! The story continues where “Asher” (book one) left off. Although, each book ends with a HEA for its respective hero and heroine, I think readers will enjoy the series most if read in order, because the plots and characters do interconnect and build on each other. And it was great fun to see past characters play roles in this book.
Derek “D” is as alpha male as they come, but he meets his match in his fated mate, Delilah. I loved the push-pull between the two and their chemistry was off the charts! Finding out about D’s haunted past and how it intertwined with Delilah’s, made their getting together challenging, but oh so sweet when they finally realized they were meant to be.
Loving this series! Can’t wait to read Jase’s story!
Phew this one was intense and I was really worried for our pack there for a hot minute. I loved that Delilah didnt let D walk all over her! Nothing beats a feisty FMC to accompany a hot AF Alphahole. I did find D a bit irritating and at a couple of points in the story I wanted to kick him in the shins but he won me over in the end
I am very interested to see how Mina’s powers develop in the last book
