If you are land shopping, reading this book is a No-Brainer!
I am in the process of buying land to build my log cabin on and am glad I came across this book. It immediately started answering questions that I have been asking. Best of all, it doesn’t bury you in technical information on every front. It step by step tells you what needs to be done, what the rules are, what tests to have run and in what order. So, if you do run into a particular glitch, then the recommendations supply a path to a solution. Michael Keller has definitely been practicing what he espouses in his book. Good read. I marked some pages that I know I’ll need to go back to as things progress. A good Glossary too!

This book is very unique in that it's written in a way that first-time home buyers are able to get a better understanding of what needs to be assessed prior to their land purchase and selections.
