...a festive teacher and a frosty businessman must work together to reach Aspen by Christmas Eve
.

It’s finally winter vacation for first-year teacher Lexie Knox, and she can’t wait for the festivities to begin—heck she started listening to holiday music in October. However, the minute she steps foot out of school all her carefully laid vacation plans fall apart—starting with her flight.

Her seatmate is an un-festive businessman who does not appreciate her holiday cookies or musical tutu.

But not even a handsome Bah Humbug is going to dampen Lexie’s Holiyay all the way spirit.

Snowmageddon has other plans.

Could a Christmas detour with an almost stranger be the best present of Lexie's life?

Having read book one in this series, I dove into book two and was delighted with all the Christmas feels. I loved getting to know Lexie more about the first book and the way Diaz sets the scene has you falling in love with the characters as if you’re there with them. I adored the way the story wove happiness and delight, and falling in love through the pages. Loved seeing it all come together and think Cole and Lexie were a perfect match. Overall a brilliantly Christmassy story that can be enjoyed all year around. Very much recommended!

This is a truly witty, delightful Christmas story of an eccentric teacher who makes the holidays a joy for everyone. She's the type of person who could listen to Christmas music all year long and is always prepping with cookies and little gifts to give to her fellow teachers and friends. She has a zest for living, even when some of her colleagues accuse her of being fake and trying to show off "her wealth." Dressed in a white tutu and traveling by ride share, she finally makes it to the airport, halfway to home. I really enjoyed this book and the writing was clever and good. The Christmas season is front and center and she didn't get coal for Christmas, she got Cole!

This book will make you get lost in the fun, humorous, and romantic life of Lexie, a school teacher. She either makes others smile or she annoys them with her sweetness and good cheer. I enjoyed everything that happened to her on her way to Aspen to be with her family for Christmas. It was funny how many things went wrong for her. So glad she got Cole for Christmas instead of just the coal in her stocking. I received an advance copy of this book and I willingly chose to write an honest review.

I laughed so much reading this book. From being stopped by security at the airport for her light-up Christmas tutu and then getting it stuck in the baggage scanner, to being forced to sit next to Grinchy Cole on the plane, having to use an outhouse out in the snow, and using one of her student's fruitcake gifts as traction to get out of a snow drift. The town of Greer Lexi and Cole were stuck in with it's yummy sounding holiday hash, Christmas cookies, and cute tree lighting ceremony and holiday sing along was sweet. This was a clean holiday romance with plenty of funny and sweet moments.

Very sweet, humorous book. Shows how just one thing happening in your life can change your whole life. I met my spouse on a flight - I often wonder what if either of us had sat in a different row! I loved the writing, the characters and the plot of this book. I live in FL - so I don't mind "hearing" about snow - as long as I know I won't get stuck in it! If you like clean sweet romance you will love this book!

Cole for Christmas

This was a cute and funny story but could have used more editing. Spelling errors were scattered throughout the book.
