Wade is introduced in Book 1 in the series and I knew his story would be the next one that I read. He is a broken man and I wanted to know what caused his mental and physical scars.
He is quite mean to Hope in the beginning and uses her to get what he needs - to find the drug kingpin. Their relationship develops in a very precarious situation and very quickly, but I thought it was narrated well.
This is a gripping book full of action.

My goodness, what a gripping read, I couldn't stop reading it, I had to know what the outcome of this story would be. This is a series which just catches your attention and then won't let go. I discovered it when I picked up Can't Hold Back (book 4) and then went back to the beginning and downloaded the first book Trouble in a Tight Dress. I can now say my next purchase will be books 2 and 3. But back to this book.

This story concentrates on Wade Flint, he's a former DEA agent who four years ago was brutally tortured and nearly died at the hands of Roberto Arazana the leader of a drug cartel. Carmen his long time partner was tortured and killed while he was forced to watch and for the past four years, all he's thought about is revenge against Arazana.

An American doctor, Hope Chandler was kidnapped by Arazana five months ago, since then she has been locked up and forced to treat the drug lord's dying mother but she has managed to escape and is on the run hiding from not only Arazana but the police too.

Somehow Wade and Hope meet and he helps her avoid capture but then he asks her for her help in finding Arazana.

This is a rollercoaster read telling their story of how they both strive to exact their revenge on the drug lord it's gripping, fast-paced and very emotional. This author's writing style is superb, the story just flows and her characters are so well defined. One word of warning, don't start reading it, as I did, at bedtime because you won't be able to stop and you'll have a very late night/early morning!

I've been waiting for Wade's story since he was first introduced in the series. This book did not disappoint. It was worth the wait. Wade is broken and has barely been existing the last 4 years and now we know the details of what led him to that point. It's a harrowing tale. He is finally about to exact revenge on the drug lord who nearly killed him. Dr Hope Chandler is his only chance of finding exactly where the scumbag is hiding. As they trek through the jungle to Aranza's compound, Wade begins to realize there is still a reason to go on living besides the thirst for vengeance. But he worries that he is too broken and undeserving of a second chance at life and love. Hope is a strong-willed, intelligent, caring woman who sees that he is worthy in spite of his brokenness. It is quite a journey to their HEA.

Beyond The Breaking Point is an intense story and does contain violence. The violence is a necessary part of the story considering they are dealing with a ruthless drug lord and his goons. It isn't graphic or gratuitous but an integral part of the story.

I have really enjoyed this series and urge you to read the entire set. Each book is a stand-alone story but the characters grow and change throughout the series. I would really like to see Navarre and Jackson get their HEA and hope Lori Sjoberg plans on continuing the series with them.

Beyond the Breaking Point bk 5 [Six Points Security Series]
These books follow the Flint brothers and This series is a spin-off to Southern Alphas series..
[May have spoilers]

This book Follows Wade, his past and losing the woman he loved years ago and also how he gets a second chance at love.. I enjoyed this book a lot because wade is awesome.. You got to learn more about Wade, his past in this book and how much pain he has been in under the mask he wears around everyone.. The Strong family Relationship in this book between the brothers you can feel how much love the Flint brothers have for each other..

I have been waiting to read Wade's story since the 1sr book in this series because his character was awesome in the 1st book that you wanted to know more about wade.. As you read the rest of the books in the series you get to see bits of wade's past that he try's not to show because his family does not know what happened to wade in his past to leave scars on his face and he also has scars on his chest and back which is family does not know about apart from his brother Nate.. The only thing the family knows is the bad guy's name, wade's mission went wrong and his friend got killed..

This book made me cry at parts because wade's past is dark and he tried to go looking for the bad guy Aranza with his friend hector so his family would not get hurt but his brother Austin found him and brought Jackson and Navarre with him so they could help wade.. Its nice to see how close the brothers are but i did not like when Austin play hit his brother because he did not say that he was leaving and also Austin acts like he knows what wade went through so he should have asked for help but Austin does not know anything about what happened or how bad Aranza is..

Wade works at Six Points Security his family business, In the old days he worked as a special Agent at the DEA but left it after a mission went wrong, he has a very dark pass that he does not talk about even his family do not know what happen to wade before he started working for his family, He is looking for revenage to help him stop his nightmares but also to get the bad guy that hurt his best friend that he loved but did not get a chance to tell her, You can see that under the mask he wears around everyone that you can see he is sweet, caring, kind, thoughtful, funny and an awesome cook, He is always there to help anyone that needs help, So after 4 years he starts hunting the bad guy but he ends up meeting a woman that he falls for and also finds out a friend of his works for the bad guy which hurt him because they were close friends

Hope is an American doctor, she is strong, smart, sassy and does not put up with any shit, she runs from the bad guys and meets wade who helps her but also asks her were the bad guy is because its the same person wade is after, so she helps him and he helps her, She can take care of her self, she has an uncle that's like a dad to her, always there for anyone that needs help, she falls for wade

I really liked the friendship between Wade and Hope because it was so sweet and sassy.. I also liked seeing them getting closer as the story goes along because it was amazing to see both of them happy and the chemistry between them is amazing.. I liked that he told hope about his past and how much it hurts him because it was amazing to see him opening up to hope that way because none of his family could get wade to talk about his past and what happened so i think its sweet that he told hope..

Fav characters are:
⦁ Wade [Works at the family business, Brother to Nate]
⦁ Hope [Works as a doctor]
⦁ Austin [Works at the family business, Married to Nina, Brother to Nate]
⦁ Nina [Works for Austin, Married to Austin]

⦁ Nate [Works at the family business, With Dorcas]
⦁ Jackson [Works at Six Points Security, Friends with Navarre]
⦁ Navarre [Works at Six Points Security, Friends with Jackson]

It was really sweet to see a strong family relationship throughout the book.. The romance was really good in the story and i am glad they got a happy ending.. I liked that the flint brothers see everyone that works at Six Points Security for them like family..

Characters i did not like:
⦁ Aranza [Bad man, head boss]
⦁ Salazar [Bad man, works for Aranza]
⦁ Hector [bad guy, wade's friend]

This book was amazing and i am so glad to see that wade got a happy ending and that he found someone that makes him happy and keeps him in the light.. I can't wait for book 6 to come out to see Jackson's story..

ARC for honest review with no compensation

Beyond the Breaking Point is book 5 in the Six Point Security series by Lori Sjoberg and needs more than 5 stars!

Reading about Wade in the prior books of Six Point Security you know that he needs to find Aranza and destroy him so he can move on and heal from the past. Hot on Aranza’s trail Wade meets Dr. Hope Chandler who was held hostage and escaped...together they must find Aranza again and destroy him once and for all...

Such a well written book brings drama, anguish, intrigue and finally a chance to find peace for Wade along with finding a HEA with Hope...

OMG, this book was a page turner for sure. If you have followed this series, you would have gotten to know the brothers and have been waiting to hear Wade's story. This book does not disappoint.

Wade is every bit the hard, tough exterior and broken man on a mission. What he wasn't expecting was Hope. Hope is a strong, driven woman who is a perfect match for Wade.

Their story is so well written and you will be cheering them along. The story is action packed, full of suspense and with plenty of romance. Well worth the read, even if you haven't read the others in the series. Though they are all worth are read

This book was the most intense and much more violent than the others in this captivating series. It sure was action-packed.
I have never been a fan of a plot based on revenge. I knew Wade had been tortured, but not to the extend that is described in this story and what happened to Carmen was horrible.
I can’t say that I liked Wade in this book. He sure got his revenge, but it was over done. Plus the author took that unrealistic path were the hero is outnumbered and outgunned but still is victorious.
I enjoyed the determined Hope. She was a strong character and intelligent. She was a perfect addition for the Flint family.

Most definitely a book worth waiting for, and most definitely worth reading!!! Beyond the Breaking Point is book 5 in Lori Sjoberg’s Six Point Security series. I totally loved all the books but I found that this one was my favourite because of Wade! Because it’s his story, of what he endured in his past and how he came to the realization that there’s allot more to live for than revenge!!! I truly and highly recommend this book! It more than worthy of a 5 🌟 rating!! So why not find out for yourself? 😉

I loved the entire Six Points Security series. Beyond the Breaking Point is one of my favorites of this series. After reading the first four, all of which I loved, I was dying to know Wade's story. Great story. I'm a sucker for a wounded hero and Wade was not just wounded but broken. Hope was a great match for him. She was smart, kind, beautiful, took no bullshit, and was very resourceful. If you love romantic suspense-action packed with to-die-for heroes and smart, kick ass heroines then read the whole series.

As always another fab read from Lori. This was a book I have been waiting for for a long time and it was well with the wait.

Wade has lots of layers you finally get to see them and the man we have all been routing for for several books finally find what he didn't want or know he needed.

His anguish and suffering is very well written and Hope helps him let go of his past and build a new future.

Wade has always been this mysterious, stoic figure in the Six Points group and I could hardly wait to read his story! I loved him and finally really understood the trauma he endured and why his life changed so dramatically. He had to battle himself as well as his foes on the way to deciding how to put the past to rest. Hope was the perfect strong and independent woman to be by his side through it all. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC.

Another good solid book in this series. I'd been looking forward to Wade's story and he didn't disappoint. I liked that Hope was smart, tough and capable, and that she didn't do seriously stupid things and need rescued. Wade was just the right level of grumpy to be interesting but not be annoying.

This was an enjoyable read.

What a suspenseful read!

Although I knew that (probably) everything would turn out fine this 5th book in the Six Points Security series had me sitting on pins & needles until the end. I'm so glad Wade gets his HEA and Hope is the perfect woman for him. One of the best endings ever (although I expected a bit more revenge mayhem.

An excellent, exciting story. It was clear in earlier books in the series that Wade would need a strong story to help him recover from his terrible nightmares. He is in Mexico, at last seeking the revenge he needs to help him recover, when he is approached by a woman, Dr. Hope Chandler. She needs help, she has escaped from the compound of Cartel boss Roberto Aranza, where she had been a prisoner for months. She had walked through the jungle for several days before arriving in this small village. Wade has been searching for Aranza, so needs Hope to show him where the compound is, before he returns her to safety.

With a few surprises along the way, breaking into the compound proves to be a violent failure, Aranza has already left. But they manage to track him, and chase after him. Their next planned attack also seems as though it will end in failure, but luck is on their side. Along the way Wade grows close to Hope, and at long last can begin his healing process by telling her about the failed mission that caused him so much harm - the first person he has been able to speak about it with.

An interesting story, well planned out, exciting, and well worth reading. There is a lot of violence, but if you are trying to destroy a powerful drug cartel that is inevitable.

Really great reading. Drug lord with so much power really made it so hard to stay safe. How someone can hurt someone and not feel anything is beyond me. Great ending. Looking forward to what's next. Highly recommend reading.
