wait what?

Ended abruptly and at one point I’m not clear didn’t she say she wasn’t running from her past when he asked her did she want to watch the video and then the author went on a tangent but never circled back. And then we never found out what happened to her in the 3 years she was missing wtf or follow up on the leads like the elderly neighbor who claimed she went missing.. it her job? Her work? Her friends ? She had a life . She said she wasn’t running but also not chasing but she has a degree in a field where she could clearly help ppl like PRESCOTT and some of the veterans in the mc .. club. Who suffer ptsd . But no we are just gonna pretend none of that happened or get her degree or transfer her files to work in her new town. Seriously ts like all the books in this series. Maybe even every book author writes she dives into a story but when it comes to tidying up all the loose ends and bring the story to a proper fruition. And good ending she just gets bored, or runs out of an idea to tie it all together and just scrambles a half assed ending together cobbled from random sappy already done over and over every single book ends in a marriage a kitten and a party. And a house . It’s a formula done over and over . And frankly I’m sick to death of these barely cobbled together scraps of endings .. leaving loose ends blowing in the wind and well who cares as long as it ends in happy smex a wedding and one or more kittens or at least 1 dog! And that is supposed to make us happy about the ending as if the author can’t do a properly tied up all lose ends ending.. I’m sorry your half ass ending’s leave unanswered questions . Is not good enough after 14 books doing it over and over

Rust is the sixteenth book in the Aria Ray’s Dark Slayers MC series. It is a romantic suspense MC story filled with passion, danger and a protective alpha biker who will do anything to protect the woman he loves.

“Raven” doesn’t remember anything of her previous life after being pulled out of a raging river by Rust, a member of the Dark Layers MC. Amnesia has taken everything from her, but she slowly begins to build a new life with Rust as he helps her recover her memories. The chemistry between them is explosive, and the love growing between them is deep and everlasting. But what happens when her past comes knocking on the door? Will he lose her forever or will they achieve their happily ever after? Read it and find out!

This book can be read as a standalone, because Ray does an amazing job summarizing plots from earlier in the series, but reading the series in order gives the reader a deeper understanding of the Dark Slayers MC life. I can’t wait to read the next story in this amazing series!

Rust is the 14th book in the Dark Slayers MC series. Although each book is standalone, it is good to read them all to get to know the other characters and their backstory. You will better appreciate their relationships with each other and the nuances of their interactions.

Rust rescues Raven, aka Daisey, and they fall hard for each other. Complications ensue when her past shows up. Their characters are endearing, and the storyline is engaging, especially after little Rose enters the picture. As with the other men in the MC, I love that Rust is very protective and compassionate. Raven is intelligent and nurturing. Rose is a quick-witted little girl. All of them are vulnerable and dealing with past grief. My only criticism is that even though she had a legit medical condition that impacted her brain, Raven was a bit too naive and trusting, even when her gut told her not to.

With action, suspense, drama, and hot steamy romance, Rust is an entertaining and engaging read.

Amazing read!

Loved Rust and Raven's story. Both suffer from lost but in totally different ways. Rust pulls Raven put of river and she has no memory of her life. Rust stays by her side and helps her in every way that he can. Raven's past comes back into the picture and paints a story that could be believable and she has to get the answers to all the missing pieces. Will Rust lose his Raven forever or will circumstances give him something he has been waiting a lifetime for. If you haven't read any of the Dark Slayers books I suggest you start from the beginning even though each book can be read as a stand alone this will give you in depth knowledge of each of the characters in the book.

This is the 14th book in the Dark Slayers MC Series. The story revolves around Raven and Rose (plus her mother). Rust rescues Raven, aka Daisey. She has memory issues from bring in the water. The story is about abuse and, as usually happens, even though Raven thinks she’s free, her past show up to bite her. It so easy to love this couple and root for them, which I did. Rust is very protective and that only endeared him more. Once Rose enters the story, my heart grew. I wanted this family to be okay. Rose is a quick-witted little girl and Raven has mental issues after her time in the water, mostly memory. A good story, fast paced.

A 1% biker with a heart of gold. Rust has more depth than most bikers I have read. When Rust fishes what he believe is a dead body from the water, he's surprised to find a live women with amnesia. "Raven" has little idea of who she is, how she got in the water, but she knows that Rust is her white knight. The chemistry is intense, there is sizzle, steam, action, twists, turns, and more. An awesome read and this whole series by Aria Ray are currently available to read for free with Kindle Unlimited. This is one of 15 books in this series and my favorite.

Rust was about to take his nephew's fishing when they see woman in the water, he pulls her out and she is still breathing. There is something about her, he cannot walk away. When she does not remember anything, he is determined to stay by her side and help her reclaim her memories.

Since she does not even remember her name, he gives her one, Raven. The more time the two spend together the closer they become. When someone shows up claiming to know her, she has to make a decision.

I loved this story, both of them had been thru some hurt, but they were just what the other needed.

This is the 14th book in this incredible series, and this is Rust and Raven’s story. Rust is a member of the Dark Slayers MC, and he rescues a woman battered and bruised from a raging river, but when she wakes up from her coma she has amnesia, so he names her Raven. When Raven’s past comes back to haunt her, will Rust be able to keep her protected and safe? This is a well written story which has suspense, intrigue, danger, action, emotions, twists, romance, and love, which leads to an addictive page turner.

WOW – this story has it all – Amnesia, verbal, mental & physical abuse, trauma, loyalty and understanding. I know all the men of the Dark Slayers have always been protective, but the way Rust handled Raven with her amnesia and not pushing her too hard, was protective to the max and really warmed my heart.

Raven is smart, just as protective and doesn’t beat herself up too much when she hears things about her so-called past. Great story with great characters. The respect this MC shows women (even when some of them don’t deserve it!) just goes to show that not all MC’s are bad. Rust and Raven both have lived through trauma. They meet when Rust fishes her out of the water and she doesn't know who she is. The story gets mor bizarre when a man comes and tells her he is her husband and the baby in his arms is their daughter. Something is off and Rust is determined to get to the bottom of it. Has Raven put herself back in danger again and will Rust and his MC brothers be able to get to her in time to save her? This story kept me glued to the pages!

I enjoyed this story, a slight difference from the earlier books in the series as it’s much more about Rust and Raven with little input from the rest of the MC but nevertheless an enjoyable read

A full blown mystery to start with, that (*minor spoiler alert*) doesn’t entirely get resolved, this book takes us from odd beginnings, through a romantic sojourn to a lovely hea.

A sweet story for the most part with a drama (of course) that brings the alpha protective instincts of the MC

Enjoy.

Rust #14 12/20/2022

She can’t remember her name or much because of the trauma she suffered when she ended up in the river. The first things she remembers is a good looking guy saving her, then waking up in the hospital. Rust was out with his nephew’s to go fishing when one of them spotted something in the water. Rust goes in and saves her and stays by her side while she is the hospital and then helps her to try to find out who she is. So enjoy another good read and see what they find out!!

Rust to the Rescue

Rust was just taking his nephew fishing when he found a woman who needed rescuing from the river. When Raven finally opened her eyes, she had no memory of who she even was or how she got in that river. Rust was with her every step of the way and with the grumpy biker showing her love and understanding their relationship grew. Then one day a guy showed up with a little girl claiming she was his.

I loved the grumpy biker of the Death Slayers MC and the relationship he formed with the beautiful Raven. It was a book of suspense and steam which I couldn’t put down.

I read about Rust and who he had hooked up with in previous books and wasn't sure what to expect. The author answered all of my doubts from the very beginning and I looked forward to reading his story. He was fantastic with Raven and put his life on hold to help her out in determining who she was. The book had a lot of twists when it came to Raven and how she came to be found in a river. I loved the sacrifices Rust and Raven were willing to make for the sake of a child. Great story from beginning to end.

Great!

I chose this rating because this was actually a pretty great book. I really enjoyed most all of the characters. This was a book of protection, compassion, kindness, trust, willingness, and getting your memory back and also being able to take care of yourself. I really enjoyed Rust and Raven story. I think the author didn't amazing job with putting these characters together. The way that Rust was always by Raven side, when she was able to get just a little of her memory back was amazing. Really great read! I recommend this book to all romance readers and MC lovers.

This one was a fantastic story that was emotional yet entertaining. The Rust in this story isn't the same person we saw in Hack's story. We find out about his backstory and why he is always grumpy. Enter the newest female character of Raven and Rust is a changed man. A definite must read for all Dark Slayers fans!.

This book touches on domestic wife and child abuse.

Ms. Ray has written a compelling story about Raven, Rose, and Rose's mother. Their story is about verbal and physical abuse and the need to intervene to save women and children. The other thing addressed is Raven's amnesia and how. It affects someone's life. Luckily Raven and Rose are rescued by Rust and a happy ending is obtained. Keep the book coming, I can't wait to read the next one in the series.

Rust happens to pull Raven out of the river. She's lost her memory so Rust gives her a name. What will happen when Raven remembers what happened to her? I love the storyline and the characters were fantastic. There were plenty of twists and danger when Raven's past catches up with her. I love their interaction with the women and children who have been abused. I can't wait to read the next story.

Rust deserves all the happiness

Rust and his Raven deserve all the happiness with a little Rose added in. This story was amazing and very well written. Life gives them challenges that need overcoming and they do it. Raven tries to return to what she thought was her life when amnesia plagues her but turns out it is evil trying to hold on. Rust and the Slayers come to her rescue again and every one gets their HEA.

This book had promise and honestly I wanted to love it but I just couldn’t. Just seemed very unrealistic and off and honestly Rust just letting Raven go?!? I just nope, I finished it cause I was hoping for some answers and really Rust dirty mouth was good but, really it all fell just flat and meh for me. I read ‘Celt’ and remembered liking it but, yeah not an author I’d run to obviously only having read 2 of her books. The6 have promise just…fall flat for me 🤷🏼‍♀️🤷🏼‍♀️

WHAT A BOOK!!!!!

Amazing, isn't ENOUGH to describe this Story!!! It was a continuation of a familiar MC Biker Club, but SO much more! This goes into detais of what's behind this Vets past. His Courage, Fortitude, and Stubbornness is brought to the forefront. This is an absolutely wonderful story line! I wish this particular story would go on, and on, into their shared future!!

Rust saves Raven from a river, only to find she has no recollection of who she is and how she got there. Most of the book revolves around trying to figure out who she is. Rust never gives up on Raven, even when they find out her history. Suspenseful sexy story that kept me intrigued.

Rust by Aria Ray

This is the 14th book in the series and they are all out standing. Rust and Raven’s story is about finding your soul mate but letting her go if that makes her happy. Good story line and I always like it when previous characters are included in later books. Can’t wait until Ace’s book.
