When my car gets stuck halfway up the mountain, I decide to stop at the local bar off the side of the road. (See stuck–not actually my decision, but I’m an empowered woman so i'm calling it a choice)
Desperate and a little drunk, I con the hot bartender into being my fake boyfriend for the week. My mom loves him immediately, my sister’s jealous as soon as we walk in the door, and my dad knows something’s up.
Can we keep the charade up all week or will the dominos fall before the eggnog is served? What happens when just for the week turns into something more?

Another amazing read by EM Torrey! I love Jacey and Slades story. I am craving more!
Jacey is heading to the mountains for Christmas with her family. When her car doesn’t make it she stops at a bar and meets Slade. She then talks him into being her fake boyfriend for the week.
This book is Spicy 🥵 But sweet all at the same time. EM knows how to pull you into the story with so little pages. It’s such a sweet fluffy Christmas story and perfect for the season and we can’t forget the puppy!!

This is my favorite Christmas book, ever. This one usurped The Plight Before Christmas for me, and that seemed impossible before now. This story has all the heat and fun you expect from Em Torrey, with a super cool, refreshing story about love and lust at Christmastime. From the moment I met Jacey, I was in love. And it's only gotten stronger. She wrecks her car on her way to a family Christmas in the mountains, and hits up a bar nearby. This is where we meet the love interest and Jacey does what anyone would do...takes him home with her and passed him off as her boyfriend. The fake relationship is a thing of beauty to behold. I can't recommend this enough, this author has stolen my heart and I highly recommend her other books, too!!!!

Jacey is going up to Mt Baker to spend the holiday with her family with her boyfriend Josh, but Josh breaks up with her. She is totally lost and ends up at a bar where she meets Slade. Slade and Jacey have an instant attraction and chemistry. This turns into Slade fake dating Jacey and spending the week together. Can fake turn real? Great characters and storyline Highly recommended Amazing book. I love Jacey and Slade the banter was top notch and is a sweet and sexy book

This little novella was another great addition to the Naughty List series!!! Slade and Jacey’s love story was fun and flirty, and I loved it. I loved Jacey’s randomness, the way she was always ready to say whatever was on her mind. And I loved Slade for not judging her for it. In fact, he found it endearing. Insta love isn’t my usual cup of tea, but these two made it work, and I’m really happy I read this. I definitely recommend!!!

I absolutely loved this one! It is a quick read but so worth it! Jacey is hands down one of the funniest FMC that I have read about. I literally laughed until I had tears running down my face at some of the things that she said. Slade also had some funny moments.
""Good girl," he says gruffly. Dear heart, I'm really f*cking sorry...dear vagina, from the looks of this man, may the odds be forever in our favor."
The banter in this book is perfection. The sass is perfection. The steamy scenes were perfection! Okay, this whole book was basically perfection. Seriously, if I sat here and shared all the parts of the book I highlighted, I would basically be sharing the entire book. Oh, and by the way, let's not forget Titus! How adorable was that puppy?!?
My only complaint is the ending. Only because I wanted more. Please say we are getting more Jacey and Slade. I mean it is the Christmas season, and giving presents is what we do. And all I want for Christmas this year is a book 2!
As I am writing this, I am still laughing to myself because of this book. It is that damn good. But I have to stop writing this review now because people are starting to stare!

When Jacey begrudgingly heads to her family’s rented cabin for a week of Christmas fun, she finds herself in the middle of nowhere with no cell service, a GPS with a mind of its own, and a Honda that can’t possibly navigate the snow covered mountain. Seeking refuge in a bar, she meets hot and friendly bar owner, Slade. He agrees to take her to her family and he can’t help but love all the wild things that come out of her mouth. He agrees to fake date her for the holidays, but after meeting her family and his family, they decide to make it one really long first date. Things get wildly spicy and both have fallen head of heels for each other, which leaves Jacey wondering if she can really walk away at the end of the week or if she needs to #ClaimYourCoal and do what’s right for herself for once.
Jacey’s wild mouth will keep you in stitches while Slade’s calming presence is the balm to the soul. Em Torrey delivers a delicious holiday romance leaving you craving more!

This was my first Em Torrey piece of writing, and this holiday novella was everything! Smutty. Fake dating. He falls first. Cute, witty, and flirty banter. Thick girl representation. Obsessed! AND, there was no third act break up and I was so happy I couldn’t refrain from DMing her about how happy she made me.
This story follows Jacey and Slade. Jacey is staying at an Airbnb with her family for the holidays, however, her little honda can’t make it where it needs to go in the snow. Because of this, she stops at a bar and meets Slade, part owner and the current bartender. After some mischievous flirting, he offers to drive her up the mountain in his truck. One thing leads to another and to avoid embarrassment of just being dumped, she proposes that they fake date through the holidays to get their families to ease off.
FAKE DATING LEADS TO FALLING IN LOVE. And I love it and that’s probably why it’s my favorite trope at this time.

Okay, this book had everything I wanted!
Self assured straight forward strong woman? Check!
Super hot fake boyfriend? Check!

I picked this up and could not put it down. It was such a good read! I love Jacey - who speaks her mind and is so resilient. Slade - the hot guy down for anything. I loved their interactions and the intros to their families including Jacey's sister. Plus who can resist a puppy? This little novella was packed full of scenes that had me laughing out loud and my temperature rising. This just felt like one amazing ride - with a literal sleigh ride to boot. I cannot say enough about this read!
My only complaint - it was over too soon! I want more - please, please write about Jacey and Slade's second date!!

5 stars isn’t enough for this book! Entertaining , sexy, sexy, funny and sooo romantic .
This book is a Must read like over and over and over again.
There love story and their connection is the best . Every girl wants a relationship like this , one where you trust their partner 100% and have amazing chemistry and connection in the bedroom is on point. It’s such a good story, EM has to be one of the funnest authors out there . Some of the pick up lines and sexual comments are the funniest I have ever read. I was laughing , crying because I was laughing so hard at some of the comments referring to his member 😂and positions.

This book was EVERYTHING!! I couldn’t put it down! ❤️ I’ve read a few Christmas themed books and I have to say this is definitely hitting my #1 spot!
This is a must read this holiday season! From humor, spice, and romance Em checked off everything needed for a fun easy holiday read! It is very fast paced but that makes it even better! Jacey is the best character you could read about! She speaks her mind and doesn’t care what anyone has to say about her! Slade is just as amazing of a character as she is! Heading on holiday Jacey not only was dumped by her boyfriend that was supposed to come with her, but now she stuck on this mountain with things looking dismal until she sees a bar and goes for help. When Jacey first walks into the bar she is blown away with Slade and his offer to help her. The attraction is instantaneous, the chemistry is off the charts, but could there be more lurking under it all? This quick read was incredibly spicy, yet sweet and I wish we could see her sister be put in her place a little more but overall, a perfect holiday read.

Strangers who click instantly become much more. Jacey is on the way to visit her family for Christmas but gets stuck going up the mountain. She ends up at Slade's bar and instantly hits it off with him. Their chemistry is undeniable, and the previously dumped Jacey proposes Slade act as her boyfriend for her family. They grow closer the more time they spend together and soon don't want to part.

Em Torrey wrote us an insta-love romance that has your blood crawling. I enjoyed it.
The story had a good flow and the main heroine was written with almost a sarcastic undertone... scratch that... she was just sarcastic. I thought it was fun and at first, it was her drunk personality, but instead, it was just her personality.
It was a fun and short book, the mountain man and the curvy heroine and they had a HEA which was good in my books, especially since it was instalove.

Jacey and Slade, just in time for Christmas, a week long date fake date between two extremely sarcastic people is just what the Doctor ordered! They intend to brighten up the holidays with a convenient set up to keep their parents happy, and the heat gets turned all of the way up. This was a quick fun read, with all of the feels. Absolutely recommend

This was a fun fake dating holiday romance! There’s a lot of humor, steam, and I always appreciate a curvy heroine (and a giant hero). It was very fast paced and it felt a little chaotic to me, as well as unbelievably insta-love. Overall it was fun, but it didn’t quite work for me.

Jacey is hilarious, laugh out loud, speaks before she thinks funny, why wouldn't you want to spend Christmas with her and her sass?
Slade has a heart of gold, a heart that Jacey steals with her first quip back at him. I love that he embraces his feelings and doesn't run from them.

I really enjoyed this! It was short, sweet, funny, and romantic.
It made me kind of envious, though. I wish it were really as easy as just walking into a bar and finding your soulmate.

This book was so good, i loved the funny moments along with the steamy ones. There was strong chemistry between jacey and slade is off the charts. This book is definitely worth reading.

You know those Hallmark movies that litter our screens every year with picture perfect smiles, beautiful people, hot chocolates in hand, twinkling lights and soft focus...... Yeah this is the type of Xmas movie I want instead - Funyuns breathe and a massive....... Truck.
This book made me laugh so hard I was crying (try explaining that to you mother, yep you'll understand when you read it). When Ivan the Impaler is used you know it's good. Jacey and Slade are brilliant, their chemistry is off the charts but they also fit each other. It's a brilliant read and I can't recommend it enough.
