S. E. Green is the award-winning and best-selling author of young adult and adult books. She grew up in Tennessee where she dreaded all things reading and writing. She didn’t even read her first book for enjoyment until she was twenty-five. After that, she was hooked! When she’s not writing, she's usually traveling or hanging out with a rogue armadillo that frequents her backyard.
The characters were the same as the first one but just a little more fleshed out. Our main character again is likeable and knows when she's wrong, follows her gut, and shows vulnerabilities. The secondary characters aren't used as much within this book compared to the first two but they are used pretty well.
The storyline was GREAT for me. It started slower and then didn't stop at all, and the twists and turns throughout were quite unexpected (especially the ending, boy was I surprised). I couldn't put it down until the very lady word.
Pacing/Writing:
Incredibly easy to read and get through, although at times it was tricky to know who was talking and it would randomly jump to somebody else mid sentence, otherwise no complaints.
Ending/Emotional impact:
The ending was written in a way that closed off the series, but showed that it could resume at any point and I enjoyed that. I was on the edge of my seat in the last half and was eager to find out what was going to happen. The deaths of both Father and Daughter was brutal and I was sure they wouldn't happen, boy was I wrong.
I pray for a fourth book.

Another really good page turner with twists that kept me interested and turning the page. I really like the very real flawed characters, especially Nell. Not one I’ll remember except to say I enjoyed it.
I love Nell and Vaughn! I want more! This was a great storyline, and had me guessing until the end. I couldn't wait until I had gone to read. Thank you, S.E. Green
The author did better with this last book... It kept my attention at least and even though I figured out who the murderer was early on... It was a nice little journey getting to the truth
This has to be the best book ever. The author has out done herself. I have read quite a few of her books and this one hit a soft spot on my heart, it made me cry. A definite must read, you will not be disappointed.
Wow this is the second book I've read from this series just an outstanding story keeps you fully engaged I actually had tears in my eyes at the ending Looking forward to reading the next 1
Unseen continues the same fast-paced, draw you in writing style as "Silence" right from the beginning. When Nell Brach and her partner take on another case, they are hit left and right with clues taking them back and forth and around in circles. Cathy was found brutally murdered in a nearby park, and is eventually connected to a decade old case that Nell's grandfather had worked and was not satisfied with the outcome. The case was closed, with the murderer on death row. The suspect list is growing, secrets are being uncovered, and Nell is determined to not only solve her current case, but her grandfather's closed case as well. All while continuing to deal with her previously estranged father having come back into the picture and turning her personal life upside down. Once again, S.E. Green keeps readers on their toes the entire time, with an ending that will blow your mind.
