He’s ruthless.
He’s dark.
He’s seductive.
He’s the kind of man a girl should stay the hell away from.
I’m not the kind of girl that’s ever really been seen, always preferring data, romantic comedies, and books to interacting with people. The problem however is my boss has given me a new assignment. I’m to be at Mason’s Zacchara’s beck and call.
Whatever Mason wants, Mason will get.
I was only suppose to be an assistant to the CEO not an assistant to the assassin for hire.
Life just got weird.

Okay, come through with the suspense, sexiness, and romance in an interracial mafia story. I have been reading the DeLuca series for a while and I enjoyed this story immensely. Mason and Nora gave me everything I needed tension, sass, mystery, and badass action.

Gangsta Nora and her Dark Prince

I thought I was prepared for Mason and Nora's story. But clearly I was not. This book went beyond my every expectation! Mason has always been a mystery since reading Sebastian. In Amaya Blacks second book in the DeLuca series we finally get to see more of what makes Mason Zacchara tick. The depth of Mason's psyche is absolutely wicked and astonishing!! In the book Mason and Nora have a inextinguishable desire for each other that leads to some pretty hot and spicy encounters. At the same time there is a killer on the loose that's getting too close. The fast paced energy and the amazing storyline this author created had me on the edge of my wheelchair reading until I got to the very end. This book had everything from drama, romance, erotica, action, adventure, lust, hate, love and sweet dirty nasty sex and one heck of an epilogue! I hope this is not the last we will see of Mason, Nora and the Corsican. I so highly recommend this book! It's so worthy of 5 ⭐'s in my opinion. Great job Ms. Amaya Black! 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾

Mason not a Deluca, but 100% Savage

I enjoyed Mason's story. Loved his dark, brooding person. It took a different turn than I expected. Didn't see the Corsian becoming a favorite character. Mason and Nora were so different, but in the end were perfect for each other.

Can't wait to read the brother's stories, and am especially looking forward to retribution for those who did him wrong.

Mason + Nora + Corsican = ❤️😍❤️

Mason was good at his job, that's why Sebastian had him tracking his sister who’d gone missing, he just wished he didn't have such a huge distraction accompanying him😉.

The attraction between Mason and Nora was hot and the way they tried to stay away, dismissing their desires made for an even hotter interaction and when the Corsican joined in the chemistry was beyond hot🔥😈🥵. Mason had a dark persona and was very sure of himself. I mean the way he allowed Nora to see him coming in from the downpour was like🫣🤤. Nora being a strong independent woman was perfect for Mason and I appreciated that she took charge often and that Mason admired her resourcefulness👍🏾. I enjoyed the banter Mason has with his Corsican, both egging each other on but when it was time to fight the enemy or claim their woman they were totally in sync😊. Mannnn I was not expecting that twist with the sister and who she was involved with, I mean WOW😱.

It was great to see Masons brother in the story. I would personally like to see some books about the brothers😉. A great addition to the Savage Bloodline series.

First time reader of this author and didn’t read any of the books in the series prior to now. It was okay, not great. The story itself was fine but the writing was very all over the place and the pacing of everything didn’t really sync well for me personally. There were a lot moment where I rolled my eyes so bad I almost just gave up on the book in genera for some of the dialogue. Overall I didn’t hate, but I didn’t love it either. This book had a lot of potential to be great.

I feel so bad but I couldn't finish it

It just wasn't well written at all. I don't mind a few grammar errors and typos but it was just bad. Extremely distracting and over all not well written.

At first I though it was kind of funny, but after a while the plot wholes, mispellings, and a overall lacking in kraft just was to much and just not kinda of funny anyways, what weird is that I fairly certain I done read another of this author's work and it was not to bad (See what I just did there. Not cute right?).

If you do read it, read it as a comedy of plot holes and badly executed romance tropes. How the heck did the plane get to Alaska so fast again, how did this dude get her parents address, where did this serial killer come from again, what's up with the Corsican? Like, that whole thing just popped up out of no where! Seriously, why the heck would Sebastian send his assistant to get Mason? Then send her to Italy? She couldn't help from back at the office? He couldn't send a courier? Just made no sense. Great job at describing a prince albert but can I get a little more scenery description? Like, what did your Mom cook for this Sunday dinner that's such a big deal? All I got was BBQ and cake. You can't talk it up without giving the food just a little bit of attention. Did the author mean to say " fingers rippled across his abs" or "my fingers glided over his rippling abs" (such a worn out phrase anyhow). What kind of bike does Mason drive? Are you in an apartment? A house? Other than the mullet, what's up with the sisters ex? Google "inside a private jet" and set the scene. Okay job setting the mood in the "sex club" but it could have been better. How did Mason become an assassin again? Something to do with being Deluca henchmen?

Typically I am of the mind of if you can't say anything nice don't say anything at all OR I just stop reading it. But I really like this series, it's one of my favorites! This story did not do it justice.

What's sad is it COULD have been a pretty good story. The concept was legit but the execution was not great.

Needs some heavy editing and a rerelease before it's readable :-(

He thought nerdy Nora was too good for him

Nora had gone to high school with Mason and Gisella. Now she finds herself assigned to assist Mason with finding her boss' sister the mean girl Gisela who was also Mason's ex. Nora used her nerdy knowledge to find coked out Gisella and bring her back home. Mason found that his Corsican did not respond to being around Gisela but he went haywire around Nora.

Mason's alter personality, the Corsican was a family thing. It was his dark psychotic drive that he battled with to keep under control. Just when Nora and Mason are seeing where things would go between them, his father Augustus pops up dropping a bombshell on Mason. Augustus Zacharra is absolutely bonkers. He'd been involved in some super secret program and was ready to have his own son taken out. Mason had everything to live for, his Nora. He and his alter ego The Corsican were not going to let anything stand between he and the woman he loved.

I can see another spin-off from this book about Augustus Zacharra and Giselle DeLuca with Mason and Nora hot on their trail. It was also great to read about Brie and Stephano finally getting their HEA too.

Mason, is not a DeLuca, so why be apart of the series? While I enjoy that Mason is different, and this Corsican inside of him brings a paranormal aspect to the series.

I would like to continue the Corsican story, to see where it goes and how the other brother develop with the looking actions of their father, creating lab made Corsican's.

Mason's, "ex" or so she is introduced as, Gisela, is a piece of work. Not only does she need to take her health seriously, she's also painted as an opportunist, and a manipulator. Of course, not a fan of hers and I'm not looking forward to her in the other series.

Nora, where to begin? I do love when people embrace their, "nerd" status, but something seemed to be lacking with Nora's personal growth. She seemed a little more on the Thug Nora side in the beginning rather than towards the end. I did love that Nora embraced Mason and his Corsican, but their random, not necessary, break-up seemed forced and out of left field.

Mason and Nora

There is a bit of a paranormal aspect to this book.

Mason is the security right hand of a Deluca and mentioned in Sebastian's book. He is asked to look for their sibling and to take Nora to assist him.

He makes it known he wants her, but she is trying to avoid it because she knows the life he leads. When they decide to move forward with a relationship, Mason refers to himself as "we." Nora at first, let it go, but she got curious enough to ask "why."

Mason would have internal conversation with "himself," but it's not. It is an entity that can become violent when it feels a threat towards Mason. It is a thing that is passed down to sons from a specific area. Mason learns that his dad is trying to make more of these entities with a synthetic formula.

The book is a part of a series that includes his brother, so it doesn't end with this book.

Mason & Nora Double Trouble

This was a good story. Liked tht it was of two characters within the DeLuca world without being DeLuca's. Sexy, fun and dangerous times. Although Mason is dark, he knows he can't fight his attraction to Nora. Nora, is the quiet smart and sexy woman that at first does not want anything to do with Mason...but once they come together....it is explosive! My only negative is that the editing was not good, several mispelled words or wrong words. Looking forward to readin any spin-of fof Mason and his brothers.

Love A Dark Knight (no spoilers)

At first I wasn’t interested in this story cause I wasn’t a fan of the original (Sebastian and Brie) but Ms. Black came to slay in this one. Mason was a great character to read and the tension between him and Nora was palpable; loved the back and forth nature of their relationship. The ending was a plot twist, but definitely has me wondering if there will be a sequel or continuation through Mason’s brothers, Matteo or Carmine. There were some grammatical errors that gave pause but overall an excellent read I couldn’t put down

Interesting premise

Nora, Mason and The Corsican made and interesting couple. Nora, the brain and Mason & company, the brawn. Family can be our worst enemy/nightmare as we found with Mason’s father. I hope this story doesn’t end here as the end was much more interesting than the beginning.
Please authors, pay money that a good book editor. Nothing detracts from a story like a poorly edited book as this one was.

Never would have guessed I'd fall for a psycho!

This book had me from the very beginning. I love Nora and Mason together. Oh and mason secret, it kept me giggling all the way. As I'm sitting here reading this book I have to pause and ask myself how are you falling for this cycle. That's being kind. This book will have you falling in love and wanted to smack Mason at the same time.

I know by now I have read more than 20+ DeLuca books. But by far this one is at the top of the list. I didn't know how I felt when Nora and Mason was in Rome. And several times I was like yeah no I'm not gonna listen to this when the plit personality became more prominent. But I'm so glad I stuck with it and it was totally worth it. By the time they finally hooked up I was invested. I would love to hear part 2 for them.

🔥🔥🔥🔥

I don’t even know where to start! Ms. Amaya has done it once again. This book was so good! I finished it in 4 hours. Mason and Nora matched so well! I don’t want to give any spoilers but Mason brings out “Gangsta Nora” lol. There were so many unexpected moments but it made so much sense afterwards!! 10 outta 10 recommend!!!

Good

I really enjoyed this series and it's great that it has been extended 😊. I enjoy this author's writing and this book did not disappoint. I would have liked a bit more information about Masons alter ego but perhaps we'll get that over time. I recommend, but you do need to go in order to get a full immersive experience.

Opposite attracts but magnetically good

They are two unlikely people to get together but they fit. They accept each other for who they are. It is some editing typos but nothing that takes away from the story. Mason and Nora are a good example of opposites attract but magnetically good for each other.

We are happy 😊 😃

Wow! This was a wonderful read. I like Mason and Nora's love story. Mason, I love the jewelry. Nora kept me smiling I laughed out loud a little too. The savagery still amazes me. I believe the Zacchara family deserves a book there's a story there 😉. Excellent job Ms.Black it was a pleasure reading your book 🥰.

Fire!

Oh my goodness! There is so much to gush about this book! Mason and Nora are so good together! The plot thickened and twisted so many times, I was sorry for this story to end. My fingers are crossed that we get Matteo and Rain’s story! They don’t have to be together but as supporting characters they deserve their happy ending as well!

Need a Good Editor

I wanted to give it more than 3 stars. The storyline was good. I loved the characters but the editing was so bad that I almost stopped reading the book entirely. There are so I authors that I love but come on ya'll. Please do better and either get an editor or have the one you got do a much better job.

Love It

I am so glad Mason has his story & with beautiful, talented, intelligent, independent,… don’t forget “organized “ Nora … etc, etc
He may not be a DeLuca by blood, but he is in The Family & bad**s . Anyhow, that was another great read and very entertaining.

They Love Hard

Mason & the Corsican love Nora. Mason fights it but it is meant to be. Mason works for the DeLuca's & doesn't think love is in the cards for him. Silly guy. Nora is attracted to them but fights it as long as she can. Their sexual chemistry is off the charts. The plot & story line are interesting. Sit back & enjoy. I love these Savage books. 🥰

Mason was a walking wet dream and Nora knew she wanted to climb that tree. Everything about this book was on point and there was action like no other. The family history was something I wish was more of and the punch to his father what I thought was a long time coming. I can't wait for more of mason and Nora's story to come out.

Good Stuff!

This story is definitely going to peak your interest ,right from the beginning. The writer paints a vivid picture of two people who totally opposite but yet the same. This story of one the Deluca friend is going to reach out and take hold. There is something for everyone and the story is not over, there is more to tell.

Mason - Savage for Nora

This book did not disappoint! Loved Mason and his shaddow, the Corsican. They both loved Nora. The evil behind the scenes were his father and Mason’s ex, who is also Sebastian DeLuca’s sister. I hope there is a follow-up to figure out what Mason’s father is up to.

It was a different plot than what I am used to reading. I was really trying to understand the other half or the “Corsican” that was a part of Mason but it was hard to keep up. The scene with Tobias seemed too rushed and was anti-climactic. There was no resolution with Gisella or Augustus. There were just a lot of unanswered questions overall.

Mason and Nora

This book has me so intrigued now and I can't wait to learn more about these Corsicans. Gisella is something else. I wonder what her grandma and brother gonna do with her once she's found again because she seems far beyond help. I know Sebastian wouldn't want her to get the same fate as Mason's father. He really needs to be put down. This was a great read.💌💌
