Craig thought he had a happy marriage. He thought everything was great with Kim.
That was before he went to the neighborhood pool. Before he found out about Liam. Before he realized there was a chiseled wife chaser who relished seducing other men's wives.
He knew he should've been pissed off. He knew he should've said something.
Only he couldn't stop wondering if something happened between Liam and Kim. He couldn't stop thinking about his wife in the arms of another man. He couldn't stop trying to figure out ways to spy on them and find out what's happening.
The neighborhood pool is about to heat up as Craig discovers his wife might not be as faithful as he thought, and he might just like it!
The Pool is a 75,000 word steamy hotwife tale from Lexi Archer, author of your favorite stories about women who stray and the men who love them for it!
The plot in this one is unique for a hotwife tale. It all takes place outside of the married couple’s communication.
The setup of course is the neighborhood pool. The husband is working from home for the summer and takes his wife’s place taking the kids to the pool every day. There he meets a couple of ladies who tell him all about the local stud who preys on married women.
He soon finds out his wife has been spending time with the guy. He of course has mixed emotions about that but with the help of his new lady friends sets a trap for his unsuspecting wife.
My problem with this story is threefold.
First, the wife is antagonistic toward her husband throughout the whole story even though she is the one cheating. She’s basically a total bitch.
Secondly, ninety percent of the words are the husband’s internal dialogue. There is very little communication between them. Therefore the sex scenes are not erotic at all. The action doesn’t take place till the last twenty percent of the book.
Thirdly, it’s not a loving committed marriage at all. They are never on the same page. I was never able to connect with any of the characters as they just weren’t that likable.
Love her work! I’m hoping Lexi writes more similar stories. This one was very spicy. Kim’s personality could have been more loving, but it didn’t detract from the enjoyment of the story as a whole.
I wonder if the author has participated in an adventure like what they wrote about. If so, they must have a amazing life. Question is, can I get my wife to read this storybook. 😁.
