Really delightful. Utterly beautiful. A short story which tells of the beauty and the love between mother and daughter. If you missed it in your childhood it can still be much adored as an adult.

This one was another gift from Miles' baby shower. We've somehow dodged the bullet on this for two years until Miles found it a couple days ago.

Between my wife and I, we've probably read this schmaltzy thing twenty times in the last two days. A mother polar bear tells her cub how much she loves them over the course of 20 or so pages. The art is good and the book means well but we're already tired of reading it.

This is one of my favorite books so I’ll drop the sass for this review.

My parents read this book to me most days, and I often enjoy looking at it next to my clothes when I’m on my changing table.

Tonight I wasn’t feeling great because of the doctors and my mom read the book while I was in bed to calm me while my dad pointed out sweet moments in the illustration and mimicked some of the bear and it’s cub’s cuddles with me.

By the end of the book, I was doing my bed angels (that’s when I make “snow” angels on top of the bed sheets in my parents bed when I’m happy). Although I was basically ready to sleep, my parents reminisced about the freezing day they brought me home from the hospital. My dad told me they would be telling me that story forever and I think they mean it.

The best book to read to your child. The very first book I bought for my son. Very adorable and highlights the love between a parent and a child. So sweet. Also, it rhymes.

Loved this book, it’s a classic gift for baby books however I never read it when I was a kid. So it was nice reading this story for you and experiencing it myself.

One time we were reading this together when you were 4 months old. We were both on the bed looking up at the book. When I read “Like when we’re touching noses”, we both turned our heads to look at each other at the exact same time and our noses touched from our faces being so close to one another. The timing was perfect, it was magical. It was meant to be! It was a great reading day
