Do your children or students worry? Do they get caught up thinking about all the negative things that could happen? Sometimes, our minds play tricks on us! How does Nyx get past worrying about an upcoming test and help friends do the same?
"Is What I'm Thinking True", like every book in the Power of Thought Series, begins with a conflict that every child can relate to and teaches an evidence-based strategy that adults can model for everyday use. Children will learn, in a fun way, how to problem-solve and find positive solutions to everyday situations.
The Power of Thought children’s book series has been developed alongside clinicians, educators and parents to use as a proactive resource in teaching children emotional literacy.
Read this imaginary, fun and practical book to your child, grandchild or students. Help them build self-awareness, motivation, empathy, social and self-regulation skills.

Quick read to help your child tackle self doubt. Are they worried about an upcoming test, winning a game, or making a team? This kind of worry is a real issue for children, and sometimes we don't know the right words to say to help them understand that there is truly nothing to worry about. This book is part of a series for self-emotional healing for children. It is the first one I have read, but if this is an example of the others, then I would recommend for social workers and teachers to a dd them to their reading lists.
This really is a beautiful and simple book to read with your children to discuss feelings and beliefs in a fun way that doesn’t feel like learning. The characters in the book are exciting and using the different colours to help distinguish between the moods and give some straight forward easy steps for children to learn how to change their mind sets to change their mood. I also as a crystal lover myself love to link to the crystals with the characters as well so maybe you could gift a crystal to children along with the book so that they could also have a physical item they could carry around with them to remember what they read in the book. I really wish there were books like this when I was growing up
This is a really well explained book for kids about how to work through what they’re feeling and how to deal with it. The illustrations are beautiful and the message it sends I think would be really influential to little kids :) It was depicted very well! No complaints about it. It’s a creative twist to a book that sends a very important message to children, what with the characters creative names and bright, vibrant appearances.
This was a very fun and educational children's book. In this book, colour is used to represent various moods and emotions. I'm a person who enjoys mood rings, and similar accessories, so even as an adult, this was something that I could appreciate. The story is fun, the illustrations are vivid and colourful, and I think many children would find this entertaining.
