I enjoyed the colours a lot. art was fairly good. seemed like there were multiple artists but I don't think there were. maybe deadline trouble.

the story is fine to good. seems like there is a lot of things happening to these people who just happen to be important later. this definitely isnt necessary reading before Dune. you probably get more out of it reading it afterwards anyway.

kailea the daughter of Vernius household is treated the way ib which youd expect a woman to be treated inthe 60s despite this being written by Brian. not Frank. she's not allowed to travel. it's too dangerous for her but not for her brother who is also in danger. just bad writing or sexism?

shows Shaddam being evil and conniving from an early age. Duncan's awful life, but doesn't show that the one who saves him is also the one who betrayed abd put his family ib their horrible situation.
vladimir gets his infection from raping bene gesserit. leto loses his father, his mother helps to kill him. I felt this dragged in the middle but picked back up.

I am not excited to read house corrino and harkonnen but I am intrigued.

Le pongo 3.5. Está bastante bien, pero todo resulta apresurado y es difícil seguirle el hilo. Deberían haber extendido la trama por varios tomos, no en uno solo. Por lo demás, dibujo aceptable.
