Still liking it.
New character addition was fun and different.
It’s still not wowing me, but I’m Still into it.
I swear, every time I get to the last page I’m shocked. So, it’s for sure keeping my attention.
Plus, the sex scenes are fiery as hell.

Ok listen...LISTEN. I know this book/series is stupid. I KNOW THAT. HOWEVER...........threesomes?? FOURsomes?? im just a girl. I will keep reading them (for the smut). but Im not proud of it.

I liked this second book way more than the first so it’s decided I’ll be reading the rest of the series. This is definitely a case of it took a while to connect but now I have I’m really enjoying myself. There just seems to be much more going on here than in the previous book and I am loving Lucas the most he’s definitely my favourite mate so far. Also, the chemistry seems to have clicked here and I definitely loved the inclusion of Trace as Olivia gains a new mate to add to her circle.
Be aware this also has some M/M which I loved as Trace is bisexual. Here the dagger leads them to Trace who is a cowboy with a ranch he’s also a Griffin shifter which is certainly different. In this second book, Jonah is also going through some stuff and his confidence is definitely taking a hit and I did feel for him.
This series for me was a slow burner in regards to my engagement so I’m glad it eventually clicked for me better late than never. It would have been such a shame as we get so many regular shifter books but here we have a wolf a dragon a Griffin and we just now need the snake that’s to come. Also, I adore that Olivia is a Kraken and that mermaids and sirens are a thing. I’m off to read the next one.

This one was fucking amazing. I loved it so much I can't wait to read the next book. I can't wait to see what the next guy is going to be like. It's going to be so much fun.

Holy wow!
Warning spoilers below!
I already new this was going to be a great book but it was even better than expected! I love Olivia and her guys, and after that last cliffhanger I was anxious to know what happened after the Gnomes and skeleton attack. Lucas and Jonah seem to being moving past their own issues with each other and really building a great friendship, hopefully more than that. Then we have the new guy Trace holy cheese on a cracker that man is the definition of a country girl’s wet dream. The boots the snap up and the hat 🥵 and he interested in guys and girls!! He seems to be the spark that these three needed to make this into an inferno! I don’t know what the Gods have planned for this group but they sure made a great mistake messing with Olivia and her guys. This group continues to get even more amazing and they aren’t going to give up even when all they have is a creepy prophecy and a dagger that has it’s own crazy mind. I can’t wait to see where it leads them next!

This series is truly wild so far, everytime I think that I can guess what is going to happen something comes out of left field *cough* evil garden gnomes *cough* in the best ways possible. This series is making me very emotional as it is mostly about accepting who you are and we are going on that journey with all of our main characters, I really relate to this struggle because this is one thing I have always had a problem with so I really appreciate Maya making it a big part of this storyline. I love Trace and I think he is a great addition to the group I think he really helps balance out some of the big personalities in this series and I cannot wait to see who the next addition to Olivia's mates is!

Her Creatures series has gripped me with the characters' humour and swoonworthiness. Maya Nicole has created an extraordinary story of finding courage and love. These characters are wonderful to read and enjoyable. The mystery intriguing and alluring. I look forward to reading book 3. I am so invested in these characters, they have captured my heart and took flight.
Please be aware that Creature of the sky has MMMF. Why choose romance filled with dragons, shifter and all kinds of mystical creatures. A dagger leads the way, prophecies that don't make sense until it happens with a character that keeps popping. The jokes and sarcasm are spot on. The swoonworthy is panty ruining good. This book starts up after that brutal cliffhanger from book 1 and we are thrown right back into the action. This book was full of laughs, mystery, tension and plenty of steam. I feel like Maya Nicole has the ability to drag you into the world she writes with ease and then brutally tosses you out with her cliffhangers.
I love the addition of different characters to this book, I may have liked some characters more than others. I was so entertained and absorbed with some of the antics that occurred that I feel like when things became more serious I wasn’t as prepared as I should’ve been.
I cannot wait for more mysteries to unravel and to continue following the story of these characters. I know this journey will be worth my current book hangover.

This book pick up after the cliffhanger from the first book. After Lucas wakes up it is hard for him to get the dagger out of his throat but Jonah is able to help him, in doing so faces one of his biggest fears. Olivia is able to finally shift back and meet up with Lucas and Jonah to see where the dagger takes them next. Trace is not expecting to find his mate and least of all learn of prophecies. Jonah is a way for some of the book and changes happen to him. The scenes were really spicy and I loved learning more about these characters and meeting Trace. I can’t wait to read the next book and find out what Olivia’s next mate is and what Jonah turns into.

Book 2 picked up exactly right off of the cliff in book 1 seamlessly and I loved how it flowed right into it. Again they are out chasing another mate down but Jonah has to head off for his next appointment so we get to see some more developments with Lucas and his individual relationship with Olivia and I feel like it was really needed. More twist, more of the unexpected, this series has kept me guessing from the beginning. The smut was off the charts and the sexual tension between all of them was crazy! I'm excited to see the developments between the guys and what this crazy group will be getting into next!

Let me tell you this book is straight and flat out awesome. It picks up after that cliffhanger in book 1. And we have Jonah facing his fear head on, quite literally. The dagger is now pointing them towards a new place so they hit the road to Texas where they meet Trace, a cowboy who is also a griffin. And this book is packing in some MM action and I am here for it. We have more questions popping up. What kind of wolf is Jonah if he can't shift, but can seemingly grow bigger and have heightened senses? Are there more mates popping up? I'm staying tuned for book 3.
Oh, and I absolutely love Trixie!! You'll find out who she is when you read this book!! Lucas and Trixie. How cute!!!

Once again Maya has left me perfectly sated, while still anticipating the next book. She is so great at creating a story that pulls you along, without leaving you with a soul crushing, experience ruining cliffhanger. For that Ms. Nicole, I thank you.
And the bull riding. Are you kidding me?! So damn hot. Please that them revisit that little hobby.
I also really enjoyed the progress all the characters in the book make in over coming their own fears and self doubts. Trace and his experiences makes a great addition to our group of misfit shifters. Excited to see who will be added to the group next!

All the yeses to this story! This is book two and I am loving it! The characters are fun and all so different. I love that they aren’t all alpha males or helpless females. I also adore that the main character is a kraken. I mean she’s not happy about it but I love the uniqueness of it all. This book changes relationships and brings the next of the prophesied mates. The narrators do wonderfully with each personality and making all the characters their own. Not going to lie, I kind of want to give mechanical bull riding a try after this. Much like the first it ends in a cliffhanger but it’s such an amazing series and I can’t wait for the next!

I absolutely love that Trace had a pet chicken named Trixie and that Lucas loves her, and Olivia doesn’t. It’s so funny. The bull riding was funny. I can’t believe that Jonah got taller and more muscular over night. I’m wondering if instead of turning into a wolf he is going to be one of the bipedal werewolves. That could be part of it. I’m also curious about Lucas. The others were all healed in some way but he wasn’t. So does he not know he was or is something else going on. When Lucas destroyed the gnomes on Trace’s property I laughed so hard! This series is so different and I can’t wait for book 3.

Okay I LOVE Trace. Seriously, he cracks me up. From the bull all the way until the end of the book he was just a legit good time. From the funny to the sad and lonely. Just love him.

Need More 😩
Another fantastic addition to this shared world as the mythos keeps expanding. The sky is the limit with how this world is slowly being revealed series by series and will keep you in your toes. I loooved the addition of Trixie as a side character. All the scenes with her were majestic. The way the characters fit together as the delve into their past and who they are deep within is fantastic. With each new creature we find the acceptance of this journey they have been set toward has kept me glued to the page to see the drama unfold. I can’t wait for the rest!

This was my first solo series that I have read by Maya Nicole & it was an excellent choice. This book is an amazing combination of paranormal meets an epic quest. And how the hell can you go wrong with a epic quest?
Oliva is a wonderful character who has had horrible luck with life, one mistake has cost her so much. In this book we add another member to Olivia’s team & I loved how this all went down! So freaking hot!
The Narrators, Bridget & Jake Bordeaux do an absolutely phenomenal job with this audiobook. They completely bring the characters to life & this story was amazing to listen to. I cannot wait for the next book to come out on audiobook! I need book 3 ASAP!

Another great book. I'm loving all the different and more unique shifters in this series. Olivia, Jonah, Lucas and Trace have felt very alone depending on their circumstance. Be it different to other shifters around you, not shifted yet or completely alone.
It highlights how can get alienated just because they are a bit different be it appearance, disability or sexuality.
Lucas makes me laugh so much. Jonah and his dirty talk is just 🥵. I'm liking what I'm seeing of Trace so far. Olivia is just so understanding. And Trixie! She's got sass 🤣

The only downside is to this book is, that it's not long enough! I loved this one more than the first however I do wish we had some more of a storyline to it instead of jumping right into things. The sex scenes by the crack of my ass are oof hot. I can't wait to see what Lucas and Trace will do. I did honestly think we'd have more with this chicken thing like we did with the gnomes (loved that's the first thing Lucas breaks) and what is going on with Jonah? Instead of shifter maybe Lycanthrope?

If you haven't read book 1, then stop right now and go read it first! You will be totally lost.
Book 2 picks up where book 1 left us - on the edge of a cliff, LITERALLY. I love the love these characters feel for each other! Mystery continues to unravel as Olivia and her guys attempt to solve the prophecy, and you can never go wrong when you add a cowboy to the equation!
Be warned, book 2 ends with another cliffhanger!

Olivia is now following the blade to find her next mate who is a creature of the sky. We are introduced to a new character and I really like him. More prophecy is told and of course we are left with that heart pounding cliffhanger.
This book was a great read with supernatural characters, a magical blade and prophecies. If you haven’t read book one, I highly recommend reading it and then devour this book too!

This book was amazing!!! It was so intense and fun to read and I laughed so hard and fell in love with trixie!! Omg you have to read the book to find out about her lmao. Absolutely the best. And the hot as sun cowboy trace omg just wow!! Sign me up please for a bull riding lesson lol. Seriously though you will not be able to put this down and you will laugh so hard too. All the men are sexy and fun to read about and how they worship Olivia!!! Highly recommend this book and series!!

This book picks up where the last one left to off. We find out what happened to Lucas, Jonah, and Olivia. Then they are off to find the next person in the prophecy. There are some smutty times and more character development. I really like Trace the new addition. I was totally surprised what what his animal was! Super cool story! Of course it ends with a cliff hanger. Can’t wait to see what happens next for Olivia and the guys!

We finally find our Sky creature in this book and he’s of course wonderful but can we talk about Trixie? Also can we talk about Lucas and Trixie?? Who knew how adorable a dragon and chicken could be! Trace was a lot of fun to get introduced to and I love the chemistry there so far and the acceptance he’s gotten. I’m definitely concerned for Jonah, he seems to be going through a lot right now. I can’t wait to find out who is next in our group!

In this installment we meet Trace. Sexy bull riding Trace. I just love the men in the book so much. They are alphas without being aholes and as much as I like my alpha holes, sometimes cinnamon bun alphas are amazing too. This book is so well written and the character development is so good! I won’t give spoilers…just do yourself a favor and let Maya take you on a modern day odyssey where the FMC gets to collect a new mate along the way…yum!

This is such an insane, crazy, intense story about magical creatures in a light I have never seen. Everytime I thought I knew where this story was going, another twist would come out of nowhere. This book revolves around the characters finding peace within themselves and really finding who they are and it has captured my attention and heart. I cannot wait to see where the author goes with this in book three! Warning: ends on CRAZY cliffhanger.

Okay so one I’m a glutton for punishment. The cliffhanger in book one had me sweating and immediately jumping to book two. I knew this also ended in a cliffhanger but …man oh man…I love it!
A new man has been added and Jonah has been threw the ringer of so many changes. My heart hurts for him.
I love this developing group’s chemistry and their playful banter. Can’t wait to read more.

Audio book review
Creature of the Sky picks up right where book one left off. It’s a top pick it’s an enjoyable story that has atmosphere and passion. Olivia is now following a sign to find her next mate who is a creature of the sky. Maya wrote another hit. It has its suspense but some comedy parts. It’s a fantastic reverse harem.
Bridget and Jake Bordeaux hit the nail on the head again they brought this reverse harem story to life I highly recommend it
