When darkness descends, evil takes flight on wings of terror…
Napoleon Bonaparte, ambitious young officer and military genius, realizes early that he’s destined for power and glory… and that quest will take him on a journey of conquest not just for territory… but for ultimate power as well!
Potter’s Neck is under attack. After narrowly defeating a plot to kill Veronica, Vince and his allies spirit her away to safety. Meanwhile, Van Helsing, Báthory and their growing army of the undead set their fangs into The Neck in their tenacious search for the Philosopher’s Stone. Yet even as Dracula’s allies plan to go on the offensive, Van Helsing proposes a truce… a truce meant to force Dracula into revealing what he knows and giving up a key to finding and creating unstoppable power.
Even as the two factions vie for control, hints that others may also be on the hunt begin to surface. A strange boat crashes ashore and an out-of-town land developer is snooping around under the premise of building homes in Manasaqua’s haunted woods with Judge Potter’s support… but there are signs that all is not what it seems.
A tipping point is coming… more vampires are popping up in Manasaqua County and unless Vince and his allies can take the initiative, the forces of evil will prevail. Dare you invite this third immortal Dracula vampire slaying novel into your home?

Vampires, the name only produces thrill, right? It has also got numerous web series and books based on. The Sword and the Spirit: A Vampire Slaying Novel (The Immortal Dracula Book 3) by Scott Cook continues the story of vampires. The book is an amusing tale of vampires and revolves around their glorification to attain supreme power. This book is a fascinating combination of different legendary beasts from old mythology.
Scott has authored the book in 23 different chapters. The storyline is quite exciting, refreshing, and especially engaging. The verses are filled with action and adventure till the very climax. The story creates a great sense of adventure and thrill throughout. It has the potential to engage the readers from start till the end.
“The Sword and the Spirit: A Vampire Slaying Novel” is the third book in “The Immortal Dracula” series created by author Scott Cook, and represents the end of this fantastic horror and suspense series. I am passionate about horror series and even more when it comes to vampires and hunters. This third part continues as exciting as the first two and the characters evolve in a fascinating way. Everything is horror, rituals and revenge in this series finale. I really recommend it since it is a good read with very well thought out and defined scenes and characters. There have been three books that I really enjoyed and especially this great unexpected ending in many aspects.
Once again, Scott Cook surprised me with this third installment of the series. The narrative is really interesting, I like the way the author blended reality with vampires. The storyline has a fresh approach and events have been described in an interesting way, always appealing to unexpected situations and twists and turns. Before actually getting to the end of this narrative, I knew the ending would be a great one. Also, the characters are wonderfully created and this of course, it is what lured me into the novel. I know there are a lot of tales about vampires, but I consider this one is like the queen of vampire fiction.
The Sword and the Spirit: A Vampire Slaying Novel by author Scott Cook was such a great reading! I was attracted just by looking at the cover and knowing I would read about vampires in the story - one of my favourite characters in books. The narrative of this book is very well achieved; there are clear and well written dialogues which most seem quite real, the characters were given voice and described quite well and the plot was smoothly and carefully developed from beginning to end. I liked that I didn’t find any loose thread on the plot; all was carefully thought out. This book deserves to be read and I really recommend it. I give The Sword and the Spirit a 5 star recommendation.
The story was already stale just part way through but hearing a main character refer to the previous President as "President Grandpa" and another agree in the midst of the real life decimation of the USA by a creepy, deficient, dishonest, elderly deviant with whom children have NEVER been safe, who has stolen, swindled, cheated people out of millions, if not billions of dollars while ending every needful program and wonderful ideas this country ever had is just too much.
