I’ve read 7 books by west and this is by far the most ridiculous. It could have had potential, but it fell flat. A pageant in a theater where two people have died and everyone just continues on like nothing has happened. No investigation of the events or searches of the theater??? Plus Tessa’s mom going to the theater, aka the crime scene by herself multiple times. Yeah, okay that makes sense. It just felt like an elementary student wrote this story. It’s definitely hit or miss with Linnea’s books, and this was definitely a miss.
