Maverick's Kitten
Maverick thinks he has found what so many of his club brothers have found, a woman he can call his own and the key to having a family and a wonderful life. It takes him some time to get her to go out with him, then after one wonderful unforgettable night, she vanishes.

Bored
This book was a bit boring. The first part was ok. The middle was boring, but the end was better. By the time the middle came, I'll I wanted was to read the stepbrother's part. The sex was like all the other books. I just skipped half the book and moved on. She gets a present and it's clamp. Whoop de doo. It's like giving her a vacuum lol. Every single book is the same as all the others. Except she got better at them not cheating in some form. Have a house built, get married and get pregnant. Rinse, wash and repeat. Also when he was going to screw that girl in the beginning of the book and he says he probably wouldn't have, right! I hope this review stays but this author only likes 4 and 5 stars showing. It's just a ok read. I can't for the mafia books. They seem more interesting.

You kinda just need to roll with the start of this one. The one thing that I loved was that the minute that Maverick saw Rylan and the baby, he claimed them, nothing stopped him, even knowing that the baby might now be his. Didn't matter one bit, he saw the baby, fell in love, that baby was his. I also loved how the club backed Rylan too, from the start. Stepped in to help where needed, gave her a place to fit in and have a family.
The ending was great! Loved to see the help that the club got with the bad guy and that Maverick and Rylan could start their lives with no bad things hanging over them.

Maverick finally had the moment he had been waiting for with Rylan and now that he finally has gotten his chance, she disappears. A year later Maverick finds Rylan in the worst of circumstances. Vowing he will protect her from the threat still lingering. Maverick and Rylan begin to build something, but will they find the threat before it is too late.
One of the best in the series. Rylan is a strong heroine who I saw grow even more stronger throughout the story. Maverick idolizes her and will do anything for her. I liked that there was not the angst over not being good enough for him that you often find with these kinds of stories. Terrific read.

This one better than the last!
I don't know how she does it but each subsequent bookI read of Ciara's is better than the last.
I like howin this series, each book is centered on a couple and while previous couples and characters from previous are included, AND we do get to catch up with them the only two voices in the book are the current couple; their story taking center stage.
As always, this book had everything you want in an MC romance. It was fast paced, had romance, humor, MC business including some violence, growls possessive alphas, strong women and some very HOT steamy times!

This is a story about a man and a cat who become fast friends after the man rescues the cat in the forest. They go on adventures on Maverick's bike, and Maverick and the cat learn that sometimes, friendship means more than just hanging out together...it's something that bonds with you forever. *sniff, sniff*

Can I just leave it at that? Wouldn't that be fun? A biker and a cat? Alas, Maverick's Kitten is actually a woman. He calls her his kitten, and the book actually has some dark topics so beware if you have issues with sexual assault. There are no actual cats in this story, and I should have knocked the book down a star because of that. But I'm not. I liked it, for the most part. The middle got tedious. Beginning and end were awesome--pacing was very good there. Overall, besides the pacing issues, I thought it was a job well done. Great story. Did not see the ending going the way it did. The story threw me because it didn't follow the typical pattern I thought it would. No cats, though. :-/

Had a good plot but lacked something.
Having read Ciara St James books for a while, they usually follow the same pattern. This one is no different. The plot is really good, but nothing really happens, except for them having sex, sex and more sex. There is one huge problem for me with this book. Something really bad happened to Rylan, and yet again it’s written about as if it’s nothing to worry about. She needed urgent counselling and she wouldn’t be rampant for sex with Maverick.
Rylan like’s Maverick, but doesn’t think he’s after a relationship. So she goes away without telling him, and then disappears for a year. She said she sent him a text, but obviously not. When she comes back, she sees him about to have sex with another woman. He apologises, (Not really sure why.) and throughout the book she brings it up. Which is really unfair as she left him.
Rylan is in danger, but again with this author, absolutely nothing happens. The whole book is then having sex in loads of different ways. Yawn.
I did still enjoy it, but I always feel a bit let down with these books. There’s something missing and I think it’s a shame. Way too much sex, yet again, and does any of the women use the bathroom after sex???

Maverick and his Kitten
This is book eight and I have been reading this series. I like the MC and it’s family. This is the MC trope and as such there could be triggers for some readers with violence and physical abuse. I really appreciate seeing their MC Allies join in the fun to help and protect Rylan aka Kitten, the lead female. Maverick is all alpha and attractive. He has been single and enjoying in the fun times but when he saw Kitten, he knew that she was the one for him. Well Kitten was not buying it as she knew Maverick had been sowing his wild oats so why would he want her? He had finally convinced her to give him and chance to date. The intimate scenes are hot like fire — appreciate Maverick’s efforts to keep things new and interesting for Kitten. However, she did not show for date number two. Something from her past took her away and Maverick and the manager at her job were stuck wondering what happened to her? Did she just leave without notice? Read On to find out!

Oh my goodness, this was a glorious read! Maverick has found his one, his ride or die. Only Rylan doesn't think he is interested in a relationship. He wears her down, getting her to agree to hear him out. Right before they could do that, she gets called out of town and then she never returns. He doesn't come to the guys for help in finding her and that is a decision he comes to regret. When he spots her back in town a year later, she is very different. She is scared, hiding and all alone. That is until Maverick collects her and takes her back to the compound. I loved the connection between these two. Maverick didn't make the best impression when Rylan came back into his life but he makes up for it. Rylan was put into a terrible position but she doesn't give up. Maverick moves heaven and earth to cement their relationship and prove his love. Loved every minute spent with them, 10 stars for Maverick and his Kitten!

Once again Ciara St. James has made me fall in love with her characters. This time around the book is about Maverick and Rylan. Maverick fell into insta-love with her and before he could tell her she disappeared. Just when he convinced himself that a year was long enough to pine for her she came back to town. He found not only her but a baby girl. He and the club had to convince her to accept their help and then Maverick worked toward having a relationship with her and her daughter. This story has a lot of spice added to it and a bit of angst too. Rylan's past threat is looking for her and the club works to protect her. As always there is a guaranteed happily ever after in Ciara's books.

Perfect!
Maverick and Ryland's story was really good. I love that there is a great plot to follow in Ciara St James series. Always much more then ,man and woman meet then go to bed. I loved the storyline of what really happened to Ryland, and why she disappeared from his life, and gone for a year, with no word. Maverick had finally decided to try to get on with his life, when he sees her in the dark. Completely forgetting the woman he was fooling around with, to chase her down. Great build up back to getting her at the compound, and finding out about the trauma she's been through, and being desperate nd on the run with her baby. Book eight in the Archangel's Warriors Mc. Maverick found the one. All his brothers have falling in love and claimed their ladies. Now it’s his turn. Rylan don’t know what to do with Maverick. She knows his ladies man, why would he pick her. When an family emergency calls her home she leaves Hunters Creek. After a year of hell she runs back where she knows she will be safe. When Maverick sees Rylan again he knows he Fu$ked up. Rylan comes crashing Maverick world. With a surprise bundle Maverick is so ready to claim Rylan and her beautiful little girl. Blood don’t make you family but love does. Incredible writhing from Mrs Ciara St James. Another perfect book.

Enjoyed Maverick's Kitten!
I enjoyed reading Maverick's & Rylan's story. And enjoyed seeing other MC'd make an appearance, meeting new characters especially Betty & Rage 🤣I sure hope they get their own story told too because I have a feeling Betty is another Ms Marie! These ladies cracked me up and the Alpha Men makes it such a great fun read too. I'm happy Maverick & Rylan found their HEA too & can't wait to read Tank's book to see if he falls next! Happy Reading every one of you haven't read Ciara's books in her reading order I'd suggest you start with Terror's and enjoy reading each book you won't be disappointed!

Good Read
Maverick’s Kitten is the eighth book in the Hunters Creek Archangel’s Warriors MC series and follows Maverick as he contemplates moving on from Rylan after she’s been missing for a year only for circumstances to lead to him bumping into her again, but where has she been?
This was another great instalment in the series. The story was good and kept my interest throughout with a few surprises along the way. I really liked the characters and really felt for Rylan after discovering what she had been through but I loved how the Warriors all came around her and supported her like a family should.
Overall, I would recommend giving this book a read.

Love conquers all!!
I've wondered what happened to Rylan since she up and left. I thought finally Maverick and landed his old lady. The answers were heartbreaking for both. In the year Rylan was gone neither one wavered in the love they had for each other. I'm so glad Maverick was able to convince Rylan she was definitely worth his love no matter the outcome of one of her secrets. The thing about these alpha men is when they find the one nothing stands in their way. Oh and revenge is so sweet!! I just can't get enough of Ciara's books always leaves me wanting the next one!!

Another wonderful story
Maverick and Rylan have a dicey start but they soon get straightened out. Except… her stepbrother whom she escaped after he raped her is now trying to kill her. This story doesn’t have the same level of drama as some of Ciara’s MC books do, but it is a very satisfying romance nonetheless. And we get to meet Tank’s One! I have reread all of Ciara’s books published so far, and Maverick and Rylan’s story will join that reread shelf. You won’t be disappointed if you give this a try.

Amazing
One of the best written!! Absolutely love Mac and Rylan. Their story is full of pure love. I hate what happened to Rylan, because no one deserves that happening. Especially by someone whose supposed to look out for you and take care of you. Step or not, its not cool!!
So happy their ending was so great and Mav is an awesome daddy!!
Can't wait to read what happens next in Hunters Creek!
And to see what happens with Betty and Wraths dad!! Haha that would be a funny read by the way those 2 act haha

Never a dull moment with the HCAW!
I feel like I should tell you, if you plan to read this book please plan to do nothing but read until the end. Maverick & Rylan are finally getting their happily ever after. It might not have been easy but it was definitely worth it. Mrs. St. James once again has delivered a story packed with the good, the bad, and the ugly, with a beautiful ending. Can't wait to see what

Maverick and Rylan
This series Just keeps getting better. I love the fact that the warriors find their women and show them just how a woman is supposed to be treated. Ms. St. James has a way of telling a story, that brings it to life. The characters are so real. You feel like you know them so well. And with each book in the series, you get to keep up with your other warrior favorites. Now I must have the Rage and Betty story!!

Great story!!
This is the 8th book in this fascinating series and this is Maverick and Rylan's story. This story is well written and emotionally charged with heartbreak, suspense, danger, intrigue, humour, witty banter, twists, and love which all leads to a riveting and thrilling page turner. I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.

LOVED IT!!!!
We finally get the story of Rylan and Maverick!!!!
I have been waiting for this one. The reason for such a long wait might make you cry. The way these 2 love each other - my gosh.
I rooted for this couple the whole book. Fantastic story, LOTS of mystery & intrigue and super spicy good stuff. Add in the most adorable little baby and you’ve got their amazing story.

Great!
I chose this rating because this was a pretty good book. This was a book of protection, compassion, kindness, understanding and being very aware of who you trust. I enjoyed Maverick and Rylan story. The author did an amazing job putting these characters together. This story was very interesting involving family and greediness. I think Rylan made the right decision to come back to Hunters Creek. This was a pretty great book! I recommend this book to all romance readers and MC lovers.
I chose this rating because this was a pretty good book. This was a book of protection, compassion, kindness, understanding and being very aware of who you trust. I enjoyed Maverick and Rylan story. I really liked this one. Maverick was amazing with Rylan and Amiah. The whole club handled Rylan gently and took care of her after hearing everything she had been through. Rylan was a strong woman who went through hell and never gave up.
Betty just has to be experienced because if i tried to describe her i eouldnt do her justice. she was awesome and I hope we see more of her.. I'm looking forward to Tanks book next..

Second chances
Maverick was having a rough time trying to get his ONE to be with him. A lot went on with Rylan that no one knew about until she returned to Hunter’s Creek. Maverick and the club along with new friends made sure that she had a family to turn to and a man who would love her and their children forever. Triggers of rape and kidnapping in this story.

Maverick’s Kitten
This is another good book in the Hunters Creek Archangels Warriors and the hero this time is Maverick. He’s wanted Rylan (Kitten) for a long time and they finally connect only for her to disappear the next day. He’s devastated. A year later she returns and things don’t look good.

Good read
Although this was a good read it wasn’t a favorite of mine. I have read every thing in this author’s catalogue so I am a fan however this book just didn’t do it for me. That being said I can’t wait for more in this series Tank’s story is getting me excited.

Maverick’s Kitten by Ciara St James
This isn’t a hard core MC novel but it is an extremely good read. I enjoyed Rylan and Maverick’s story. Love can conquer all and their story proves it. Can’t wait for the next one in the series.

Maverick’s Kitten is book 8 in the Hunters Creek Archangels Warriors MC series written by the talented author Ciara St.James. Another great addition to an amazing series. Loved Sloan & Rylan plus baby Amahia. The chemistry between this two will blow you away. I really recommend it!!!
