This is a collection of accounts taken from African American members of the LDS church and it was very eye opening for me. I thought it was wonderful and it really helped me gain a greater appreciation and understanding of one of the biggest issues that is often raised when the LDS church is discussed. I highly recommend it.

this is so incomplete and boring. i was expecting more of a studs terkel oral history. instead, there is a white male true believer cutting and pasting. i still have no idea what wld lead someone to the LDS church.
