Sometimes Christmas Really is All About the Cookie! Camden Connel never has time for women. His days are all about the US and his nights are all about Japan's stock markets. As a CEO on Wallstreet and working with the world's most prominent investors, his sole focus is his clients. Besides, women only see him as a piece of meat, which is ironic since he's a vampire. One of the celebrity rags crowned him as America's most eligible bad boy bachelor. And now, because of that and his failed attempt at settling down, he has an even harder time relating to women, especially when he first meets Cassidy. Cassidy Christianson has horrible luck! She has a failed marriage and career because her ex cheated on her last Christmas and blackballed her in the interior design world! Cassidy made a pact to swear off of men, but she still needed to work, and Camden Connel was the only one willing to give her an interview. Out of options, she takes the offered position. Her holiday-hating new boss wants her to create the Christmas party of the decade as her first assignment. No pressure! Stressed after he shoots down idea after idea, she wanders into a local bar for a liquid lunch. She pours her heart out to Ginger, a bartender with the most beautiful elf costume and perfect prosthetic ears Cassidy has ever seen. Ginger hands her a special Christmas card, and within it is a gift of gumption. According to the card, she has the next 24 hours to be as daring as she needs to be to get her boss to listen to her. Can she pull off an ugly sweater competition so she doesn't have to go to another party in high heels? And more importantly, will she convince Camden that the bond they feel is true?

BOOK: MIDNIGHT AND MAGIC-MIDNIGHT RISING SERIES.BOOK THREE BY AMANDA KIMBERLEY
BOOK REVIEWER:- OKOKO AYEZU TAMARAPREYE.
SYNOPSIS:-
A work place romantic ,poetic style fiction with two major characters of Camden Connel a vampire and Candice and about magical creatures comprising vampires, animals, witches, and shifters needing to work together with mortals for a successful planet amidst the human( hue-man) pandemic. The story is told with a high use of metaphor focusing on the legal subject of an Eviction letter or a quit notice or notice of owners intention to recover possession;job interview;over qualification and recruitment;employer temprament;the pain of joblessness;choosing a spouse and committing to one; getting friends involved in marital squabbles;gratefulness as couples; recommendation in job placement; office romance, job security and personal intergrity. It raises the question whether a lady had a right not to feel little ;whether cheating in a marriage exposed the value one had for ones partner; and whether vegan or vegetarian meals are cheap or less priced than animal products. The story speaks of vampires needing blood ("be Lord") to survive in response to the human pandemic. This is referenced to by the mention of Camden's past relationship with vampire(va-mpa-ya meaning father affairs pronounced as fada meaning no father in Ijaw) named joy(pronounced as j-oyi meaning to go to husband in ikwerre).
LESSONS LEARNT FROM THE STORY READ
🔥The story reiterates the need of couples to be grateful to one another.
Cassidy is trying to rebuild her life after a really messy divorce. Her ex has her black listed and she can’t get a job, that is until Camden. He is instantly attracted to her. They are both vampires in this book but this fact doesn’t really matter to the story. I felt that this book was good but could have been so much more. There was a lot of the story missing, situations change abruptly and it got slightly confusing. I don’t regret reading the book as I did enjoy the story. I received this book from BookSirens. I’m voluntarily leaving my honest review.
Cassidy has had a bad go of it what with finding her ex husband was cheating and then not only did he sack her but black balled her in the interior design world. She finally got an interview with Camden and they are attracted to each other but he has no time for women. Cassidy becomes disheartened and pours her heart out to Ginger who gives her a special Christmas Card that gifts her 24 hours of Gumption!
This is an entertaining story and I would recommend reading it.

This story was a quick read and the characters of Cassidy and Camden are perfect for each other. I just wish the story was a bit longer and told more background about these two. They were both supposed to be vampires, but I felt this was not focused on in the story so much. The longing that these two have for each other builds throughout the story and kept me turning the pages to see who was going to give in first.

A short, sweet, fun story. Camden hires Cassidy as his secretary but he knows right away that there is something magical about her. Cassidy is feeling things with Camden she's never felt before but she very weary. A Christmas office romance that is about fated mates that are vampires. Cass is strong but insecure since her divorce but Camden is uplifting, loving, and protective. I'm so glad that they got their second chance at love. Beautiful story.

This is a short and sweet story with strong characters in Cassidy and Camden. It's an office romance taking place at Christmas and is a story of two people who are made for each other ... it just takes awhile for them to admit it. It's well written, moves quickly and smoothly and is a great paranormal holiday romance. I loved watching them come together and reading their story.
I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book. All opinions in this review are my own and freely given.
Midnight & Magic is the third book of the series and I can not wait to read the next. This book has so much to offer – romance, vampires, fated mates and steamy sexy moments. Cassidy is a strong heroine with some insecurities because of her ex, Camden is a loveable vampire hero who will steal your heart protecting his mate. This is enough chemistry to light up your Kindle. Completely worthy of a 1-Click.

Enjoyable Paranormal Office Romance I typically haven't enjoy alot of office romances, any of this authors books are certainly exceptions. Cassidy's had some hard luck but lands a job for Camden. They're attracted to each other but can they past any trouble an office romance may cause? I love this series! I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

The third book in the Midnight Rising Series. This is vampire Camden Connel and his secretary Cassidy Christianson's story with Ginger, a bartender meeting them. A well written Christmas story with its ups and downs as these two work toward a happy ending. I received a copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
this was what I was hoping for in a vampire novel, it was a great entry in the Midnight Rising series. I was glad to get to go back to this universe and it did what I was hoping for. The characters were great and worked in the vampire genre. I'm excited to see what the series and author will go next.

I enjoyed this book. I wish I could have had a little more background on what happened in Cassidy’s previous relationship but it was still a good read.
Side note: I received a copy of this book in exchange for a honest review
Cassidy and Camden's story may be short and sweet but this holiday office romance is just so cute, fun and entertaining. Cassidy and Camden are so adorable and I couldn't help cheering for them to get a second chance at love!
