i love poohpavel & charliebabe so much!! i'm rewatching the series again so i thought it was about time i finally start the book. i'm really curious on what's different/the same compared to the bl series. and we have season two coming for the series so ofc i'm on a pitbabe high right now and need to devour this book. 🥰

Okay...so hear me out.
First off.... I read the English translated (from Thai) version of this book and it was lacking in some nuance in translation between languages. There are some rough parts but we English speakers are ETERNALLY greatful for ANY attempt to translate this book because ::deeeeep breath::

I do not CARE how bad this book or show is. This is the first of its kind. And we are here for it ladies and gentlemen. WeAReHErefooooorIttttt.
I know I may be coming across as slightly unhinged right now and that's okay. I'm not a *huge* omegaverse reader but I'm familiar because it's my job to know these things. Literally. And omgyouguys... the guys in this show are such beautiful eyecandy? It's sent me down a spiraling down the dark Thai BL rabbithole and now I have a whole new freaking hobby to occupy my nonexistent free time. ((speaking of which, if you watch bl's and you're on here omg please DM me so we can be friends and geek out about this. I need friends in this fandom)).
So. If you're looking for a serious book- this is not it. If you're looking for a super romantic book- this is not it. If you're looking for a very well written book- this is still not it.
But if you like omegaverse camp, illogical over-the-top-ness, or just want to support the first book to screen omegaverse, don't need trigger warnings, (and you don't take yourself too seriously) then go watch Pit Babe online. It stars Pavel & Pooh as the main two characters Pit Babe & Charlie. Then maybe read the book to fill in some of the gaps. It's interesting to see how they adapted it. I feel like if you're an omegaverse fan it's your duty to support this show. If we support it, it puts money behind. If it has money behind it, they might make more. Once upon a time alien, werewolf, vampire shows were not a thing. And now they are. We Can Do This!

I watched the show first and I got bored of waiting to know what happens so I found the book on Wattpad and damn 🥹 ITS EVEN BETTER THAN THE SHOW!!!!!
Charlie and Babe are my BABIESSSS their love is so sweet and cute 😭😭😭 anytime there’s someone (cough cough like Babe) who thinks he can’t be loved cause he’s too broken and doesn’t let anyone in but lets only one person in and that person brings back the light and makes them complete 🥹😭 IM A SUCKER FOR IT EVERY DAMN TIME 🥹😂🤌🏽 Charlie in the book I think is more deep and I love how it shows how he fights for babe and earns back his trust with his actions not just words 😭💖 I recommend this sooo much!!!!! And the show too!!!! 🥹🥹🥹🥹🥹

The way i absolutely devoured this! Babe and Charlie have taken over my life. After watching the show i had to read it to understand some of the threads that the show left tangled. Charlie's powers made so much more sense here. Like that man is a powerhouse, definitely the strongest in the series (at least in the novel). All the little ways Charlie made Babe so happy and comforted him, took care of him, made his entire life revolve around him. I'm such a sucker for protagonists like that. Unreasonable, i know. But hey it is fiction for a reason right?
SPOILERS
The accident was so much better in the novel. Like i loved how Charlie did not want to lie to Babe again and still had to. The show did not do a good job at explaining that so seeing Charlie being so vehemently against it at first and wanting to tell Babe to save him from the torment was sad. My man did not want to lie to the love of his life but still had to. Seeing him crying and especially that phone call scene made me absolutely ball.
Babe was also so cute and happy with Charlie. You can see the progression of Charlie slowly making Babe a much more happier and cheerful version of himself. He openly depended on Charlie more, smiled more, was so happy and loved the man so effing much. Reading Babe falling harder for Charlie, crying for him and feeling so guilty and blaming himself for Charlie's accident. How he forgave Charlie the moment he saw him after the accident even though many thought he would get angry just comes to show you how much he loves Charlie and does not want to repeat the mistake of talking rudely to Charlie and push him away ever again. But the line when he met his blood father - im born to forgive people (something like that) was devastating.
The last scene of Babe gifting Charlie a dog and their new home was so happy and Babe's joy was reflecting to me too.

ปกติ ถ้ามีคนเข้าหาแบบนี้เบ๊บจะไม่สนใจ แต่เจ้าเด็กชาลีนี่รูปร่างหน้าตาเข้าที เขาเลยรับมาเป็นเด็กฝึกส่วนตัว ก็แบบว่าเอ็งต้องเอาตัวเข้าแลกงี้ ... ซึ่งก็บอกเลยว่า Hot มาก เลิฟซีนมากมายกระจัดกระจายอ่านไม่หวาดไม่ไหว
จริงๆ ก็เหมือนเรื่องจะเน้นความจิ้นความฟินของคู่นี้แหละ ในเล่มแรกเลยไม่ค่อยมีเนื้อหาอะไรมาก
มาเล่มสอง เริ่มมีประเด็นเกี่ยวกับอดีตของเบ๊บ และชาลี ที่แอบซ่อนไว้ไม่บอกกัน ช่วงหลังนี้เรื่องเริ่มน่าสนใจขึ้นมาหน่อย แต่ว่าความฮ็อตก็ยังคงแรงดีไม่มีตก ฮา!
สรุปว่า สำหรับเราคือไม่ใช่แนว ฉากรักเยอะและโจ่งแจ้งไปป้าไม่ไหว 555

Warning!! This is a book 18+. You've been warned.
I started reading this novel because of the series. I've finished the book, but I doubt I'll finish the series. Don't get me wrong, the book isn't better than the adaptation, I think only together and removing and adding a few things would make something decent.
It's just that, reading the book on a site where comments can be left, with the help of the community gathered there, I can say that it was bearable.

El resumen de este libro seria 95% sexo y 5% trama absurda. Han sido 836 páginas de las cuales he disfrutado 0. Ha sido un bucle eterno de celos, pelea y sexo. Es una relación super tóxica y que al final la vendan tan feliz después de todas las mierdas que se han hecho (sobre todo Charlie) es simplemente horrible. Diría que la serie es mejor que el libro pero tampoco mucho.

If there was an emotion I felt it. I've never cried so hard in a novel. From passion to fury from fury to grief from grief to explosive laughter. Best "adult" novel I have ever read. I'm praying this author has more books!

Me gustó, es el primer libro BL omegaverse que leo y me gustó la idea de que tuvieran habilidades ya que era algo nuevo para dentro del mundo omegaverse. Hubo partes en las que lloré bien feo pero al final todo quedó en un final feliz. 💕
