Ten years after the wedding, Jason and Alison Kendrick finally got away on their long-awaited honeymoon. Instead of a weekend full of memories and well-deserved fun, things took a shocking turn when Alison mysteriously vanished before his eyes. With the help of Alison's reclusive, genius scientist father, Jason discovered that his wife's disappearance had a deeper meaning. He'll do anything in his power to bring her back home.
This had such an intriguing premise that would be something I could sink my teeth into. I was ultimately very intrigued about the vanishing part and some of the plot twists that came with it, alas I was slightly let down.
For me personally I felt the book just needed fleshing out. There was next to no description of the main characters surroundings or what they looked like, I couldn't picture anything. Despite some good twists, it mostly read like a list of events for me which made it difficult for me to connect to Jason.
Overall, I can see why some people would enjoy this book but it just wasn't for me. I personally like reading books with heavy description. Regardless of the low rating, the author has potential and I look forward to seeing their future projects.
This was a good story starting off. I liked the science experiment twist, but the end was confusing. The brother being somehow involved was also a decent twist, but I feel it wasn’t explained enough to totally make sense. Hopefully it’s explained more in the next one.
The story had good suspense throughout and could be great with a little more editing. There were a couple of places where timing seemed off and a couple of typos, but those could easily be fixed. :)

Amy Rose creates very believable and relatable characters. The plot is also captivating with a sci fi twist that I didn't see coming. There is suspense from beginning to end. This might be the next author you see on the New York Times best seller list.
I read this epic book in less than a day...I could not put it down!!! Vanished has some twist you never saw coming! If you live twists, mystery, and heroics you have got to grab this book! A 5 star read for sure!!!
This is the first book I’ve read by Amy Rose and was provided to me by the author in exchange for an honest review. The story begins when a couple, Jason and Alison, decides to take a dream honeymoon that they have delayed taking for ten years, the honeymoon they both dreamed of when first married but couldn’t afford. They travel to a luxurious beach resort in Florida and their expectations are romantically high. On their first night, Jason rents a boat, and he and Alison are all set for a romantic, dinner date out cruising the ocean. All seems perfect until Jason bends down to grab something beneath his seat, looks up and Alison is gone without a trace. I found the story’s plot clever, original, and intriguing. The pace was fast-moving and kept my interest throughout the story. We soon find out that there is much more going on than a simple missing person case, and the people involved are more dangerous than Jason could ever imagine. Jason also learns that Alison’s father knows much more about her disappearance than he believes. Jason is determined to find Alison and bring her back safely, no matter what the cost. I thought the story was very entertaining, with some unexpected twists to keep the reader wanting more. The plot flow was somewhat spotty and I believe the author could have done a better job of explaining the more technical aspects of the motivation for the bazaar disappearances.
Jason and Alison are finally taking their honeymoon after 10 years! But on the first day of the trip Alison mysteriously disappears. Jason tries to file a police report, but the police don't do anything to help. Jason wrangles his brother to help him, and eventually his father in law. Together they do find Alison, but it leads to more questions.
A wonderful novella full of surprising twists and turns - I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book and recommend it to anyone looking for a thrilling sci-fi mystery. Because it is a novella, it is a relatively quick read, and therefore PERFECT for trips, car rides, or just a quick get-away in the words of a wonderful author!
This was a good refresher in between all the romance and fantasy novels I have been reading lately. Mystery isn't my typical genre, but I wanted to try something different. I didn’t dislike this book but I ultimately didn’t love it either.
I would still recommend this! its a quick easy read and the plot twists are chaotic goodness! the characters fit together nicely and the story flows nicely despite some slow and fast paced scenes.
