This is such a great series of novellas, and it's only gotten better and better with each installment, as the plot and world expands with each story.
I was really enthralled with the story here, and the newer characters that were introduced and the found family bond. Which in this installment structures around a youngling with her own special powers and origins to discover. When I got to the end, I wish I could read more! Which is always a great sign.
This has fantasy, magics, goddesses, and warrior women, plus much more to discover in this world and beyond. All books also have strong erotic moments between the women loving women couple, which are hot and well written.
I absolutely recommend this series to fantasy lovers of lesfic! Check it out on KU!

4 stars. This series just gets better and better with each installment. Murphy’s writing is fantastic and it’s seriously impressive how fleshed out and developed the characters and world are for these to be novellas. Mara and Reika are both kick ass characters and I love their romance and how they work through issues. We also have new characters that I like and have added a new element to this series. I’m glad that there is going to be another book because I seriously cannot get enough of these books. They’re sexy, action packed, and a whole lot of fun.

What?!?!?!
The series is great but the ending of this one was so abrupt and the next one is not out for a month...urgh the agony of waiting. I do like the new additions to the group and I look forward to the next one!
