Five million alive. Three million dead. That is the contract put on Sam Pope's head by the vengeful Dana Kovalenko, the sister of crime boss, Andrei Kovalenko, who Sam killed three years ago.
A contract that has attracted the most dangerous hitmen in the world.
Living off the grid and figuring out his next move, Sam has no idea that an array of dangerous professionals are hunting for him, all of them ready to do whatever it takes to claim the bounty. With danger around any and every corner, Sam soon discovers that he is facing his biggest fight for survival yet.
With only one way to cancel the contract and walk away alive, Sam has to do what he does best. Fight back.

Sam Pope…ones man army only this time with a little help. Good story line factored from previous encounters…nice line running through the whole book. Thoroughly enjoyed and waiting for No.10
Another explosive read taking down numerous people who want Sam dead to claim the bounty. The reason it's not 5* is because of the repetitive previous information from other books. I think the author needs to say the books should be read in order. It's a bit annoying but moving past that, it's a brilliant read.
I’ve read 9 sam pope books so far and loved them all but this book was set in my home town, your description of Oakwood was spot on btw, I shop at Asda Spondon every week, I’ve walked down midland road to the train station. Ive family who live in Spondon, and I’ve walked down the high street. I’ve read thousands of books but never one set in my town, thank you for the experience, I felt like I was part of the story. It’s good to know Sam Pope has been in my neck of the woods 😊 Looking forward to the next one
Banged, bashed, broken, bombed, everything but bitten. Sam has show that this cat has nine lives. To have the whole world looking for you and then get to get the elite to be invited for the challenge makes a great insight into the man and his nature. The quiet, calm beast that is only doing what others either can’t do or won’t do. Please leave me alone and I will only bring you the justice the world requires. But they won’t will they?
If you’re looking at this book you know sam, his History, style of writing, the body count ( the seemingly ubiquitous ‘gun pressed against his spine’ line. But this book, in my opinion reset the bar much higher. More detail, more characters with more definition and a superb story building to an even more superb climax. Take the best book before this one and you have maybe half what this book is. Best yet by far. The standard has been set Robert - can you keep it up? :).
Another great read, and non stop action. I am delighted to hear the next instalment of Sam Pope, Out of Reach will be available towards the end of January 2023. I have enjoyed reading each and every one of these books. A big thank you to Robert Enright and from another well deserved 5 stars⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Sam Pope is trying to recover from his latest battles when Dana Kovelenko puts a 3 miilion pound bounty on him and 3 teams are trying to collect. He is relaxing at a favorite diner when the first group attacks and he is able to escape after killing one of them. Fast paced ever changing great reading
I do t often leave reviews. But the author is right. It’s up to us to help promote their works.
So far I have not been disappointed in the first nine Sam Pope’s stories. Easy read and storyline has many twists and turns. You all will definitely enjoy the series. I know I have.
The series are great reads. Characters reappearing throughout storylines brings series together. Looking forward to book 10 and intrigue of the newly introduced characters in this book continuing within the story lines.
Another great read. When you think Sam is down or has taken too much he just keeps moving forward. It is amazing how many people involved are in his favor. Moving ahead Dana was really stupid. Now to the next great read.
Once again Mr Enright delivers! Another page turner in the adventures of Sam Pope. Fast paced, and descriptive as ever a non stop action packed feast. Sam Pope the best at what he does, unlike other heroes he gets hurt along the way. As the headline says Outstanding.
Just read the entire Sam pope series in about a week. Couldnt stop reading. A brilliant series of books i can easily see them made into movies. Would be amazing
Enjoyed this book like all the previous ones. Was hoping Nash would join him permanently but at least he helped! Looking forward to the next book! Keep it up!
