This book contains lots of dark themes and activities for those of us who love these types of books this right up your alley. I personally loved it and couldn’t put it down finished it within two days. I been excited about this book since reading book one in the series. It’s got lots of steamy action packed, page turner, betrayal, revenge, unexpected feelings, and so much more to explore. The characters bring out lots of interesting surprises in my opinion I’m really happy with the ending just wish I could find the bonus ending. The crazy twist and tension will keep you on edge but I wouldn’t expect anything less crazy dark kinda enemies to lovers from the amazing Em brown! I don’t want this series to be over it’s insane intense live out some crazy fantasies going on. It’s definitely not for everyone so please be careful. Overall one of my favorites with secrets and mystery completely obsessed once I got started!

I couldn’t wait to get my hands on the conclusion of Casey and Kai!
Even though I knew the mind game that Kai was playing with Casey, I held out hope that there was really something more for Kai than revenge. I feel for Casey’s whiplash feelings with Kai that seem all hot and heavy to just plain ice cold at the flick of switch. Will Casey become a casualty in Kai’s war for payback, or will Kai discover what he never knew he needed? You have to read to find out and don’t expect to find a page where you can put the book down.

This author is absolutely fabulous at writing dark romance. This story will captivate you with lots of drama, action, steamy physical scenes, and hot romance. There is a delicious surprise ending. Will Jack be able to come to terms with his growing attraction to Casey? Will Casey finally understand she is not living her fantasy? I have read this amazing author before and can not wait to read her work again.

This book definitely was better than the first in my opinion and we start to see the development of a relationship between Kai and Casey.
Although the fact that she is forced to have sex with the Russian mafia guy is stomach turning to say the least.
I am glad this turned out to be a pretty good story and had more mafia related storylines than the first book.

Casey didn't want a fairy tale prince she wanted Kai who could fufil her every dark fantasy. Kai had his own needs for taking Casey, a debt owned by her father but when these two connect sparks fly. Well written book 2 engaging steamy desires and more!.

There is very little sweetness and light in this story, not that you would expect it from Kai, but this is dark story on the theme of be careful what you wish for. Casey wants to be independent, she wants Kai and she wants a staged kidnapping and non-con experience. What she gets is something completely different. Watching Kai change in his approach to Casey is unexpected. The ending is not what I expected but very satisfying.
