In the arena, it’s all about who is the strongest predator…
Mercenary Kat Darah has worked with plenty of interesting personalities. This next mission might be her most challenging, and not just because of the motley crew she and Lieutenant Rygard have assembled for a joint military / private contractor initiative.
Kat and Rygard will go deep undercover, posing as gladiators and learning to fight together— not just side by side—in order to survive.
This is the third and final novella in the revised and re-released Triton Experiment series, a shapeshifter / science fiction romance.

Just finished the 3rd book from the series "The Triton Experiment" by Piper J. Drake.
The red thread of the 3 books is on the one hand the relationship between the two main protagonists Kat and Rygard and the rescue mission of Rygard's crew members.
What I particularly liked was the way the therianthropy individuals were portrayed. Their different characters, as well as their interactions with each other, are described in an expressive and entertaining way. The sizzling relationship between Kat and Rygard is catchy and told with great attention to detail. Overall, the suspense holds up to the end of the 3rd book with a few ups and downs, which doesn't hurt the story as a whole.
