Lily Harper #13

The Final Battle

Rate this book
Learning that the corruption of Afterlife Enterprises extends into the Kingdom, that’s where we find ourselves next.

With Alaire now the head of AE and busily trying to build up his own army of defenses, we’ve got our work cut out for us.

But bring into the fold the release of The Forsaken? Now the odds are so stacked against us, victory seems impossible.

But if there’s one thing I’ve learned about myself, it’s that I never give up. So, with my own small army of my friends standing alongside me, we fight with everything we’ve got and just hope we don’t get swallowed up by the void.

I’m a huge fan of anything paranormal and I always have been. I get super excited whenever they have those Twilight Zone Marathon days and anything ghost or vampire related will always attract my attention.

My interests are varied but aside from writing, I’m most excited about traveling. I’m extremely fortunate to have been able to live in England and Scotland, both places really having a profound effect on my books.

Thanks for checking out my books and I hope you enjoy them! Happy Haunting!

Lily and the gang are gearing up for one last battle, after finding out the Afterlife enterprise has moved out to the kingdom. Lily, Tallis, Bill and everyone else is getting ready for the fight of their lives. Alaire is mounting his own army and when they throw in The Forsaken things are stacking up against them. Will they be able to stop Alaire or will they be swallowed up by the void.
I am so excited to have Lily and the gang back, they are like a group of old friends that you can dive into and be greeted . Lily is one really tough cookie and is finally comfortable with herself and her love for Tallis. She knows who has her back and will fight to the death for her friends. She has grown up so much from the first book. I truly love her and her growth . Tallis well he is still hot and sexy as ever. He is a warrior and will fight for Lily and he is also fodder for angel Bill . These two butt heads so much but truly they both love and care for Lily. Tallis has actually loosened up from his first books and has grown into the man any woman would love to be in love with. Now lets talk Angel Bill, I love him. He is an angel but most of the time he is crazy, foul mouthed guy who well gets into trouble or attracts trouble where ever he goes. He so reminds me of your fav uncle that gets you into trouble at the drop of a hat and you want to hate him but he gets under your skin and you love him. There are so many characters new and old that have grown up in the series. They are wonderful characters that you will fall in love with .
This was the first series that brought me to this author, I laughed my way through their adventures and this one was no exception. The author has a fun way of writing that takes you on an adventure with emotion and laughter. I was sucked into the story it was such a fitting end to an epic story line. The ending was perfect and was well written . I am sad that the series is ending but very happy on how it ended. There were a lot of laughs and a few tears and some romance along the way. So if you want a great series based in the Underworld check it out. I promise you will not be disappointed.

H.P. Mallory does an excellent job wrapping the series up.

I sure am going to miss Lily, Tallis, Bill, and the rest of characters in H.P. Mallory’s Lily Harper series. Everyone is getting ready for one last fight. Lily, Tallis, and Bill and their group, Alaire and his baddies, and the Forsaken. The author takes these characters on their last epic journey. One that doesn’t disappoint and is full of twists, turns, and events I didn’t see coming.

I really enjoyed the Lily Harper series. Each character was well-written and complex. There was even some humor in the form of an angel that kept parts of the stories light-hearted during their complicated and harrowing adventures. I missed a few books at the beginning but will circle back and get them read. Not having read the few at the beginning of the series didn’t impede my reading when I finally climbed aboard the Lily Harper train.

Grab this series. You won’t be disappointed.

Freaking fantastic!

I read all of these books, one after the other without stopping. Now I'm at a loss. I feel like I could travel to the highlands to go visit these live characters. I love when books get emotional! H.P. Mallory, thank you for writing them!

Forsaken

Alistair really has done it this time. Turning the Kingdom people into stone. Making Lily and Tallis fight for their freedom facing hard obstacles. The forsaken is taking over parts of the kingdom and causing havoc.

Defeating darkness

Wow what a surprise ending. I couldn’t wait to find out how it ended. Turns out there’s too many surprises to list. You’ll just have to read it for yourself! I loved it.

Still a slow reading process, but we got there in the end. I’m glad I stuck with this series but oh my God was it hard to read

Although I loved Lily Harper and her motley crew of characters, I have found myself a bit disappointed with the last few books and this one falls into that category for me. It just felt too easy, which left me feeling not invested. I also didn’t like where Lily and Tallis ended up because it doesn’t feel plausible. Overall, I’m glad I finished this series but I liked it much more in the beginning. This seemed like a bit of a letdown.
