This book is so precious to me. It paints a bright and vibrant picture of a world that I wish I could spend more time within. I loved the worldbuilding details, like this world's creation myths, interesting creatures, and the ways in which magic can act. Some chapters had me literally shaking, and some had me putting the book down and staring at a wall just to decompress. Each of the characters is its own beautiful jewel in Angelo's collection, and they come to life so easily on the page. Going in, I thought Eun would be an easy favorite, but I'd be hard-pressed to choose. They'll be living in my thoughts forever!
