Pacific Northwest author L.L. Frost writes urban fantasy and paranormal romance with snarky characters and descriptive world-building. Whether she's writing a fast burn romance about witches, wolf shifters, and vampires, or teasing a slow burn romance while hunting demonic monsters, her passion is for character driven novels.
Growing up in a rainforest gave L.L. Frost plenty of time to daydream while spending cozy days under a blanket with her cats by her side. Sipping tea or chugging coffee, you can find her with a book or laptop in hand, imagining new worlds.
The Witch In My Head is the final episode in the Bathe Me in Red story serial. Rowe has finally managed to make it back home to help Tris after Haute finds her at a mall. Ros has come with her, and he’s struggling with the fact that she has other mates. He understands though that Tris needs her and so sets out to be there for her. The focus now? Finding a way to help Tris and wake him up. The Witch in My Head focuses mostly on Tris, and only really gives you a few glimpses of the actual connection to the title. Which is a touch disappointing. You’d really expect more, but you do get a couple teases that are meant to amp up the drama. There is some steamy, some drama (both good and bad), and some interesting developments. We get a taste of Haute returning, Tris having a nasty attitude toward him (I get it to an extent, but honestly Tris – grow up). I had really hoped for more of the witches, but I’m hoping that there will be more to come. Sooner rather than later. 4 out of 5 stars.
Rowe's story keeps building, does her harem. The antics and the sexy action are delightfully entertaining. More mysterious happenings keep the story moving. Yeah, Tris!
