Although this is aimed at children it is a beautiful book that adults can also enjoy (yes I bought it for myself and myself alone). It simplifies Darwin's life, his journey on the Beagle and his subsequent discoveries and writings without simplifing the man or the implications of his work. The accompanying fold outs, illustrations and maps are all beautifully drawn and add to the story of Darwin and his work.
