Wrong person. Right time. You always have a choice. That was how the game was played.
When Lacey Galengar received a mysterious invitation to live out her wildest dreams in the most adventurous game yet, she saw it for the trap it was.
But that wasn’t about to stop her.
Heart full of curiosity and an insatiable thirst to unleash herself, she wakes up in a room full of strangers. Only this adventure is nothing like she thought it would be.
This time, she was a pawn and it turns out the game isn’t as fun when you’re not the one pulling the strings.

This book exceeded my expectations! If you want a book that makes you feel like you are there, watching everything unfold, then this one is for you. After reading this book, Kasey shot to one of my absolute favorite authors. Lacey, oh man, Lacey! She’s a bad*ss woman! You can feel her raw emotions and can’t help but root for her. The woman has been through a hell and doesn’t care that she has a one way ticket to the fiery pit, but you can bet your buns that she’s going make sure she takes everyone that gets in her way with her. I loved all of the other characters as well, but I won’t go any farther than that. You know, not wanting to risk spoilers and all. The twists and turns of this book WILL NOT disappoint. This is a must read!
A great Fall/spooky season read. I was a little disturbed with how some of the commentary was a little hot. But yeah this book exceeded my expectations. It felt like I was watching the new SAW movie but it was a bunny instead of Jigsaw. The smut in it was a small amount and toward the end, but it was well described. I loved it so much, I’m buying it and reading it again next spooky season.
This book is gonna live rent-free in my mind forever!
This isn't my usual book genre but it is something I'd have watched as a movie so I checked it out. I decided to go in completely embracing the darkness. I thought Lacey was interesting and couldn't wait to see what she did. There was definitely less likeable characters. The escape room situation kept me guessing. I also was impressed with the writing and editing.

this was another great dark entry in the Explicit Tales of the Murder House series, it had what I was expecting from the other book in the series. It had a great premise and a great dark tone. I enjoyed what I read and am glad I got to read this.

4.5 rounded up I would really like to know more. Not a lot of spice no actual sex just some oral. Lots of gore. This was like 13 Ghosts meets Saw meets Dexter and I was here for it all. I want a series of Laceys adventures. Immediately. .5 taken off because I would have liked at least a little epilog from a year or so down the road. The ending felt a little abrupt to me.
Not your typical serial killer book. The ingenuity of the story teller was fascinating. It is a page turner that you can’t stop reading. This psychological thriller has plenty of twists and turns with a shocking ending. I highly recommend reading this book.
A Slasher's Delight byKasey Kaye. The Explicit Tales of the Murder House. When Lacey Galengar received a mysterious invitation to live out her wildest dreams in the most adventurous game yet, she saw it for the trap it was. A good read. I loved the cover but found the story slow. 4*.
