Wow this series is going from strength to strength that’s for sure. Dessa and her friends are really going through the wringer in this one . What on earth is going to happen next I wonder, cannot wait to find out. Highly recommended.

I felt this book was a little different from those that came before - not in a bad way; just a little different in tempo (perhaps coming off the action-packed fast pace of book 6). There was still action and suspense. And difficult decisions for the characters to grapple with. Monsters come in different forms. After all you've got a bunch of scientists who look like they've finally got a solution to save the human race (while trampling a few ethical boundaries in the process) - what could possibly go wrong? Book 7 takes this to a new level and sets the scene (with a big cliff hanger) ready for the ultimate climax in book 8. If you've read books 1 to 6, then you'll just have to read this one.

This is a wonderful addition to this thrilling series!
Wonderful well written plot and story line that had me engaged from the start.
Love the well fleshed out characters and found them believable.
Great suspense and action with wonderful world building that adds so much to the story.
Such a thrilling read that I couldn't put it down.
Can't wait to read more of these.
