Love and treat others the way God treats you! Amazing.
I heard about this book on a podcast, I started listening to Dr. Kimmel's podcast halfway through this book. This is my first Tim Kimmel book to have read but I have grace-based parenting and grace filled marriage queued up to read soon. I think - without having read anything else - this follows the same prescription as his other grace-based books series. Identifying people's inner needs, letting them be people, building your own character and aiming for true greatness. I'm not sure what I expected from this book and I'm on the fence about it but I would recommend it to people who want to know how to live out grace at work. I guess I was surprised with some of their sentiment of your purpose at work is to work and make a wage, not Bible thump. I'm not a Bible thumper but I believe also we need to make our faith be known in the workplace and I felt this book discouraged it until the last chapter. The last chapter brought it all together and it's about building the relationship capital and trust that your coworkers will come to you with their problems because they've learned to trust you, not received judgement from you overall receive the same love and grace God has extended you, you will extend to them. That is when you have the opportunity to share the gospel and answer their questions in ways that might simply baffle them.
