Waiting on her next book...
First, I like the storyline. Not bad for a first novel. The main characters were engaging. I enjoyed their chemistry throughout the book; during their good and bad times. With that being said GARRETT GOT ON MY LAST NERVE, lol! His reasonings for being an ass were infuriating!! As I kept reading it felt like he was trying to have it both ways in the feelings department and that everyone else should have had his back even if he was wrong. His character struck me the most. I found myself screaming at him to stop being selfish and get a clue many times as if he was literally in my presence, lol! Now me being the advid reader that I am editing is a big deal to me. And the editing here was not the best nor was it the worst I've seen with 1st time self published authors. Which is why I didn’t give it more stars. But I did see on Cereza's FB page that the book was being updated with new edits coming soon. I can't wait to read them! She is DEFINITELY a new author I plan to keep to up with though. Overall I will recommend her to my friends.

This book was long and repetitive.
If Garrett said it in the previous chapter, Simone said it in the present chapter. It got so long, it lost me along the way.they loved each other, truly. Read for yourself.

romcom magic
“That’s my man, and im’ma stick beside him my”
This is my first read from this author and I thoroughly enjoyed myself. Grett needed serious anger management. But I’ve heard this myself from several friends and family so I found it endearing. Us crazies stick together lmao. This book had me laughing yelling and even had some feels.
Maybe some spoilers below, won’t hurt the story.
There are many side characters, and even more names dropped.
Main side characters mentioned start/mid point to finish are…
Simone’s 2 best friends, parents, love interest (The 2 bf’s had their own POV once or twice.)
Grett’s best friend, parents, love interest brother in law, sister.
The extra name drops are in a chapter or three. Not as frequently scattered throughout.
So there were moments I was lost and had to reread a sentence because “who is this”? It’s always explained who, and doesn’t take from the story.
You have to remember while reading this was a Vella turned book. Vella are book series.
Dropped a star for editing issues. That actually did annoy me. But I am definitely looking for more from this author.

Had potential
This is my first time reading this author. I decided to give this a try because I love a second chance romance and the reviews were great. When I rate low, I try to explain why. The premise of the story is great but there was a whole lot of fluff that would have chopped about 250 pages out. It was a lot of repeating for the reason for Simone and Garrett's issues....like word for word. Misplaced punctuation and character mix-ups had me rereading entire paragraphs over and confusing who was who until I done so. The characters, pretty much all of them had jekyll and Hyde thing going on because before one emotion was finished they switched to another so quick that the first emotion wasn't resolved. Making the story off balance. I really wanted to like this story but it was a struggle to read. I will however give this author another try

Simone and Garrett forever or not?
The author cereza created a beautiful love story that was entertained with loss, friendship, strong family connection from both sides. Garrett knew from the day he met Simone that she was his future wife but things don't always go as planned and as you read this book you will enjoy the book. I want to give some of my favorite moments but I don't want to spoil it for others. I will say Garrett doesn't need to drink, communication could have been stronger. I need a story with Malcolm and karen

Did not disappoint... Thoroughly enjoyed
My first reading this author's book and it didn't disappoint. From their past to their present, you can feel the love between Simone and Garrett. They went through a turbulent time that cost them a lot but through facing the truth, finally being honest, and with active listening and communication, they're able to get to the core of things and find their way. I love their support system that they have. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book and highly recommend it.

Engaging Story
When Garrett met Simone in college and declared his intentions to love her forever, their path looked clear. However, misunderstandings, immaturity and outside influences derailed their journey. Will they be able to overcome the MANY obstacles in their way and become a family? Garrett was over the top in all areas and the dialogue was funny and natural. I really enjoyed their growth and the complexity of their family and friends.

I just knew if a story was this consuming, then the book would be outstanding…

Feelings were disregarded and ever-after ended abruptly until maturity and priority took over…

Wonderful book a must read 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
This is a beautifully written story of true love. I love Simone and Garrett's story. I love the supporting characters. Simone and Garrett had a wonderful support team of family and friends. I never got bored laughed out loud. I would highly recommend this book. It was a pleasure reading this book 🥰.

Awesome book
Wow this book was great from the beginning to the end it was exciting 😀 I could not put my tablet down I enjoyed the characters in the book. I loved Simone and Garrett characters their parents was great too. Great first book hope you continue to write more books with strong Alpha females and males 😀.

Garrett Hallowell and Simone Williams love story stands the test of time, having you believing in happily ever after. I thoroughly enjoyed this novel, the people and the plots were relatable.The authors style of writing flowed easily, leaving you wanting more of not just the couple but their family and friends. A definite recommend!

Lovely first read
The second chance romance was an extremely long story with many characters. The usual theme of the ex who won't go away is also present in this tale. I liked Garrett and Simone's love story. 3.75 stars...

Wonderful storytelling
This was a wonderful book, but way too long which is why I gave 4 stars. There was a lot of fluff/extra details completely useless to the storyline. However, I could not put it down and was very satisfied with the ending!

Okay plot
It's an okay read. The characters were extremely immature and it made reading the story tedious. The plot got a little convoluted with some of the side characters. Great premise the execution just ok.

Great Debut Novel!
This was a great debut novel from Cereza. The story takes us from Garrett and Simone’s awkward meeting in college through their tumultuous relationship. The author combines just the right amount of drama, humor, and steamy sex scenes to make this a great read!

A unique love story. Garrett and Simone are hilarious and a hot mess-I loved it! The scenes with poor BJ, Brian and Garrett had me scared but also rolling on the floor laughing -Garrett is a menace with those texts.
