I found it a bit slow going at first but really got into it after the first few chapters. It's definitely intended for a younger reader than me, but I still enjoyed it. Definitely recommend if there's a kid (8-13 range maybe) in your family who enjoys Harry Potter, Percy Jackson or others like it, or if you enjoy these books you'll likely enjoy this too

This book is excellent, funny and original. Probably aimed at children but can be read on lots of levels.

It's a bit like Terry Pratchett meets Harry Potter, very funny.

Absolutely loved this book and actually met the author just after the release when she was in a store doing signings. The characters are really fun and original and the story pulls you straight in.
