Zeke was married with a baby on the way, but when a business trip is needed, Zeke is charged with murder and he doesn't know how it happened. As the story progresses, it had me second guessing what was true and what wasn’t true. Who should Zeke trust and shouldn’t trust. I love a great psychological thriller and this story didn’t disappoint. The characters in this story were written so well and I would love to see more from them. I don’t know what's next from this author, but I want more. ~ CL, UP Book Reviews

I have a read a few of J.S. Morton's books, and I enjoyed this one, I did. It is a classic psychological thriller where no one is quite who they seem to be. I think the author has really found his range with his latest work 'You're Gone', but in my opinion Tabula Rasa was probably his springboard, and it is definitely worth a read. Without it he wouldn't have gone on to produce You're Gone, which, to me, is something of a masterpiece.

You get into the mind of one killer here, but the problem is, there are two, at least. It's a gripping story, well-written, and the protagonist is not always thinking clearly. On top of that, he has a newborn baby, which makes you wonder about the state of parenthood today. Poor kid - you'll just have to read it, I'm not giving it away.

I loved this book from start to finish, from the hazy, dream like sequences, to the troubled protagonist. The plot was enthralling and the character flaws in the characters very relatable. The plot me guessing from start to finish and blindsided me at the end.

Deep, interesting thriller. It reminded me a bit of Deep Water by Patricia Highsmith.
