Scandalous (adjective)- causing general public outrage by a perceived offense against morality or law.
My life has been a series of disappointments. That is until one of my social media posts goes viral, setting me up to be an influencer. I love what I do. Especially when they pop up on my radar. Their fans call them the United Nations. I call them sin incarnate. Santiago Garcia, Ezra Morgan, Drake Kennedy, and Liam Bennett have been the stars of my fantasies since I first laid eyes on them. The more I get to know each of them, the further I fall into the wonderfully chaotic world they have weaved for me. The only problem is, I cannot choose only one of them. I want them all. I never meant to cause a scandal, but you know what they say though the best-laid plans aren’t without obstacles.
Scandalous is a standalone why choose novel. That means our heroine will end up with four men who each love and care for her. Please also be sure to check our website for more information regarding triggers. This book features some spicier content that may be questionable for some. This book also contains MM elements.
Cala Riley, better known as Cala and Riley, are a pair of friends with a deep seated love of books and writing. Both Cala and Riley are happily married and each have children, Cala with the four-legged kind while Riley has a mixture of both two-legged and four. While they live apart, that does not affect their connection. They are the true definition of family. What started as an idea that quickly turned into a full-length book and a bond that will never end.
Scandalous is the first RH I read that wasn’t dark, and I loved it. Seriously obsessed with this book. So freaking hot!
Here is what to expect
Reverse Harem MM MMFMM Age gap Friends to lovers Enemies to lovers Instant attraction Long distance
What sold me is the influencer aspect of the highs and downfalls of social media.
With the spice alone, the authors hit a home run. The pegging scenes are on 🔥. I love to read representation of this kink in books.
Aurora (love her name) influencer, has always had some flirtation and contact with four other male influencers. Drake, Liam, Ezra, and Santiago. Each of them with their kind of trauma and how they became their own family. Their bond is unbreakable.
I equally loved each of them, but Ezra stole the show for me. Once you crack his shell, it's soft and gooey inside. He is also my kind of filthy. Liam is hot shit. I laughed too many times with him. Drake goes with the flow but tries to be the sound voice and Santi is one hot, sweet and spicy Latino.
If your looking for a sweet, spicy RH, this book is for you.
Holy... all the D! These two hit a homerun - forget all the bases! Outta the park with how good this RH was. I read A LOT of them, but I don't read many that aren't dark. I've been missing out on the sweet reads lol. Low angst and sweet talkers were perfect for this read.
Aurora is an influencer. She is sweet as pie.. or whatever she decides to cook up on her cooking segments. She has started up a friendship with 4 fellow influencers. Four friends that have an unbreakable bond. A playful one, a level headed one, a peacemaker one and a do as I say one. Liam, Drake, Santiago and Ezra the perfect found family. Nothing will ever break their bond. Not even a woman, especially not one of those. One thing the guys are known for are the lavish parties they throw. You only get accepted by personal invite. Aurora has been dying to attend, but that's not in the cards for her. The guys have a rule and it can't ever be broken.
Flirty lives, suggestive photos and sexy comments are the norm for her and the guys. Until the rules are broken and there is a meeting that doesn't take place on a phone or computer. It leads to something bigger than any of them saw coming.
This group is one of my favorites! Amazing characters that were brought to life by equally amazing storytelling. We get so much.. passion, smexy times, hurts, hope... just enough to have me wanting more because I didn't want to leave this world!
this book had such a fun premise, the social media aspect had me more than intrigued because i just knew that 5 influencers navigating a relationship in the public eye would be messy (but would be a good story)
i will say though, there were quite a few points where i kept cringing at the dialogue, like i had to keep putting the book down to gather myself, it was just a little corny in some spots
i also wish there was more build up with the relationships, as much as i love a fast burn story, i didn’t really believe they were in love for a while. in lust though? 100%
if you love a good why choose book with fun spice and can look past those few things, i believe this is the book for you
thank you grey’s promotions and cala riley for the arc!
I really really love the idea of social media romance It was fun and new for me. And make it a why choose even better!!
Aurora is a influencer doing videos from advice to cooking and she has some banter with 4 other influencers they comment and have some flirty moments online even the jerk of the group loves teasing and fighting with Aurora. The only problem is Ezra the jerk of the group laid down the law they can’t have her she’ll ruin them thinking she’ll only pick one guy. So pack is made no one can have her. But that doesnt work for the others they want her so they have a tiny plan and Drake and Liam make that first move.
Fun times, dates and getting to know one another is what happens just the 3 of them and the spice!!! I love the bonding they had before they tease Santi and Ezra to come join them, like I said lots of sexual tension and sorta hate tension from Ezra.
I’ll admit I think this book could’ve been alittle shorter. Couple time it did drag that I had to skim few pages but we do get some drama and let’s say… everyone saw it. And it was bad what was worse there trust was broken by someone they know. Glad there was no big break up.. tiny push away
Low angst, no ow/om drama (they do have fans), slight secondary charts, drama, sexy times, no virgins

Scandalous is a new, super smexy RH by the writing duo Cala Riley about a group young influencers who find their forevers, together. I’m usually totally down for a “bit lighter on the plot” smutty read, but I did struggle with this one just a bit. I do think that has more to me being a 49 year old woman who can’t really relate to the life of an influencer, more than a reflection on the storyline, lol 🤷🏻♀️. Cala Riley is a go to fave of mine and I’ll definitely be coming back for more - this one was just not for me.
I went into this blind and it was an okay read. For anyone in the mood for a spicy why choose similar to Lily Gold books this book is for you. We have our fmc Aurora who is an upcoming influencer she is friends with Liam, Ezra, Santi and Drake who are popular influencers who she had never met. All the guys are best friend and expect for Ezra pretty much instantly want to be with her without even meeting her.
Theres not much angst and a lot of sexy time. One of my biggest issues was the surface level character interactions with was covered with a lot of smut. I did like the few moments of them all being there for each other and developing their friendship and relationship. Overall a fun, low stakes smutty read.
Tropes/Content: - Age Gap - Why Choose - Friends to lovers - Enemies to lovers - MM and MMF parings - Instant Lust
Don’t bite your lip in front of me when I can’t do anything about it.
Cala Riley just wrote their first why choose romance and boy was it a hit! Not only do we have four amazing but very different guys in Liam, Drake, Santi and Ezra but you have Aurora trying to figure out how to explore each different relationship with each guy, which leads to some explosive sexual tension and very spicy scenes.
Add in the aspect of all five of them being influencers, having a MM relationship between Drake and Liam (which may have been some of my favourite parts of the book) and some back and forth banter that will have you cackling and Cala Riley have just cooked up the winning potion for this new contemporary, why choose, stand alone.
I’ve always wanted to see you on your knees for me.
If you’re a trope whore like me then just take a look at some of things that happen in this book! If this doesn’t convince you to read then I don’t know what will!

I ABSOLUTELY LOVED EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS BOOK. From start to finish gave me everything I want in a rh stand-alone. The guys are all great even the broody one who fights the relationship from the start…
(I swear there has never been a more devoted man than Ezra. When he loves, he loves hard. I think because of his issues with feelings, when he does feel, it is amplified. So while the rest of us were missing her, he was practically dying without her.)
Aurora was such an amazing fmc strong, smart, gorgeous and so lucky to have caught the eyes of Liam, Ezra, Santi, and Drake. I was so happy the third act conflict was resolved fast and the hea was everything. Also the art inside the book is so cute I can’t wait to own a physical copy. If y’all ever listened to any of my rh recs make this a priority. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️
I jumped into this completely blind, since this comes from an author duet I adore I knew I would love it and loving it doesn’t even begin describe how I feel about this tantalizing romance.
Aurora is an internet personality on the rise. She is one of the most genuine heroines I have read in sometime and I love that about her. She is just as kind and caring both on and off camera with the perfect amount of sass and hunger for life.
Ezra, Drake, Liam and Santi - The.Brit, The.American, The.Aussie and The.Boricua - 4 internet sensations that have taken the world by storm but one girl has taken up a seat in theirs. Each one loves in their own way and I loved seeing each one open up and grow.
These two queens took me on a ride I didn’t expect and when I reached the end, I didn’t want to get off. This sweet and spicy tale packs more than the heat, with characters I loved from the very start and only loved more by the end, a plot with the perfect amount of twists and packed more emotion and feelings that held me in its grip. I loved it from start to finish and will be revisiting again.
I was not expecting to be as in love with this books as I was! I finished it in less and 24 hours! It’s not a short book by any means it was just THAT GOOD! The United Nations they are so freakin cute! And the FMC Aurora is to freakin sweet, I absolutely love the dynamic of the characters relationship growth and the “all in” aspect! This is a must read I will tell everyone to read this beautiful book! I laughed, I cried, I was feeling like I needed to take my jacket off! Such a great read!
A sweet, fun filled, reverse harem romance interspersed with small instances of angst as influencer Aurora meets the influencing royalty quartet that is the Aussie, the Brit, the Boricua and the American aka Liam, Ezra, Santi and Drake. She’s been carrying on a mild online flirtation with them for a couple of years without quite making that breakthrough meeting though mostly in part to reluctance on the part of Ezra as he didn’t want to upset the bond that had developed during their school days but the boys have decided its time to take things to a new level and pay a visit to New York…… and Aurora.
Scandalous is definitely a quick paced and smut filled why choose read with MF, MM, MFM, MFMM encounters and any other variation you can think of. The intrepid quartet turned quintet are definitely adventurous in the sack. Is it instalove as the boys claim or more like a case of instalust? I don’t know but can you possibly love someone you only know online? I did like that it wasn’t always an orgy but there was more private, intimate couplings as well where Aurora is open to exploring both her and her boys sexual fantasies with no kink shaming allowed. There was also great group dynamics between them and despite Ezra’s initial misgivings Aurora slid right in like she’d been part of their family forever.
I enjoyed this why choose romance with a mix of friends/enemies to lovers. The social media element was relatable and a fun and entertaining layer to this complicated dynamic. It was romantic and steamy and I loved that each of the guys brought something unique to the relationship.
𝐀𝐮𝐫𝐨𝐫𝐚 𝐁𝐥𝐚𝐤𝐞 (h) posted a video three years ago that went viral, and since then, she has been a social media influencer. She is constantly making content and making relevant connections, and one of her meaningful friendships are with the United Nations: 𝐒𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐚𝐠𝐨 𝐆𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐢𝐚, 𝐄𝐳𝐫𝐚 𝐌𝐨𝐫𝐠𝐚𝐧, 𝐃𝐫𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐊𝐞𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐝𝐲, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐋𝐢𝐚𝐦 𝐁𝐞𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐭𝐭 (H). They are a part of the “IT” crowd and host a yearly party that requires an elusive invite, but they have never extended it to her because Ezra thinks she will ruin their dynamic. When Liam and Drake go to New York to meet her, it sparks their harem because the others want to meet her. While Ezra is the most reluctant, he secretly wants her just as badly.
༘₊· ͟͟͞͞꒰➳ 𝐑𝐨𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞·˚ ༘₊· ͟͟͞͞꒰➳
𝘚𝘢𝘯𝘵𝘪𝘢𝘨𝘰 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘈𝘶𝘳𝘰𝘳𝘢: He was the one who asked more about Rora’s personal life and knew plenty about her because he was interested in getting to know her. At first, he came off as “shy,” but he quickly became comfortable around her when he met her in New York, and Drake/Liam shared her fantasy with him. Santi was into praise, but it felt forced at times because he would say it in every sentence to the point where it was overkill. She would do anything, and he would be like, “good girl,” but the way he ASKED her if she wanted to be his good girl was really cringey. Praise kink is better when it is natural and doesn’t feel so forced because it ruins the moment. Then he had her calling him “sir,” which ruined the moment since the scenes between them didn’t feel at ease. At times, they were adorable, and he genuinely wanted to see her happy and respected her space, but the relationship felt scripted. He was all game for sharing thoughts and even participated in some FMMM scenes, so there is that. He was into seeing Drake and Liam, but it wasn’t really delved into more.
𝘌𝘻𝘳𝘢 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘈𝘶𝘳𝘰𝘳𝘢: I am not opposed to “enemies to lovers,” and they had the best banter initially, which was an obvious attraction from the start. Ezra hated that he wanted to and was so protective of his friends that he didn’t want anything to come between them. When they met, he was a complete asshole, treated her like a doormat, and just tried to push her away. I wish Ror had stood up for herself instead of listening to his demand because it proved his point. When he realized he fucked up, he felt terrible and started groveling, but it was still shitty that it took seeing her cry to change her attitude. After that, he was relatively protective and wanted the best for her, but there were still some red flags. His accent was the best quality because he would say “love,” and I would forget why I was upset in the first place. This book had a lot of smut and because of the harem, it explored many kinks but for some reason, whenever it got to Ezra it made me cringe. It might be because I am not that into degradation, but the shit that would come out of his mouth had me in disbelief. I was like there is no way he feels this way, and then he calls her princess out of the bedroom. I know there is a separation between physical interactions, but Ezra could be way too overboard for no reason. It was like the author was trying to reinforce the kink so bad that it went too far. For example, he said, “𝙄 𝙛𝙪𝙘𝙠𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙡𝙤𝙫𝙚 𝙢𝙖𝙠𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙖 𝙬𝙤𝙢𝙖𝙣 𝙢𝙮 𝙗𝙞𝙩𝙘𝙝. 𝙏𝙝𝙚𝙧𝙚’𝙨 𝙨𝙤𝙢𝙚𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙨𝙤 𝙞𝙣𝙫𝙞𝙜𝙤𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙖𝙗𝙤𝙪𝙩 𝙞𝙩” … not ONCE in my time reading the deg kink has a MMC ever said that. It is just really weird and I couldn’t see him the same after that. He was sweet when he wanted to be but when it really came down to it, he was a walking red flag.
𝘋𝘳𝘢𝘬𝘦, 𝘓𝘪𝘢𝘮, 𝘈𝘶𝘳𝘰𝘳𝘢: They were better together because, as individual pairs compared to the other two, they didn’t have much of a distinctive factor. The memorable part was that Liam was the golden retriever and was forward about his feelings for Rora. He just wanted to be by her side but was just as in love with Drake. At times, it felt like if she wasn’t in the equation, they would have been fine without her, and it wouldn’t have ruined them. Of course, they thought otherwise, but they had great chemistry, and sometimes Aurora was just there to complete their fantasies. Drake and Liam were so precious and they just wanted the best for each other. They knew when they wanted time alone, and when they wanted time with Aurora. She respected that and each of them knew when group scenes should be initiated versus one-on-one time.
𝘈𝘓𝘓: The scenes between all of them worked well because they were all so close and knew what the other needed. It didn’t feel forced because they all had pairings with each other, so when it was a specific group together, it felt natural and just happened as it went. They became inseparable, wanted to be together all the time, and were clear about their expectations.

The ending felt open-ended, which I didn't love; I seriously turned the page, thinking there was more to the story. It was so abrupt that it felt like an incomplete book, and I was left wanting more because there was no plot after a while, and it was just smut. Nothing was wrong with it; I didn't see the story's purpose.

Aurora is an online influencer who specializes in cooking videos. She loves doing it and loves her online community — especially four frequent commenters who are even bigger online influences than her.
They are nicknamed The United Nations. Santiago is The.Boricua, Drake is The.American, Liam is The.Aussie, and Ezra is The.Brit. And she’s had a bit of a crush on them for awhile. What she doesn’t know though is that the four best friends have also had a crush on her. And they’re about to make their move.
I loved this! It was so sweet and sexy and fun. Minimal drama within the relationship itself. For most of the book it was actually pretty smooth sailing until a sex tape scandal featuring all five of them surfaces.
At first this reminded me a bit of another book I read called “I Think Knot” by Sinclair Kelly. That one is an Omegaverse book though. And it’s about two rival online influencers.
Still, I adored the whole social influencers twist. It was so much fun to see them interact with each other and such. It kind of feeds that fantasy about two social influencers who you just KNOW are together but aren’t saying so. lol Anyways, I enjoyed this part of the story a lot, even if it would undoubtedly make their unconventional relationship more difficult.
I loved Aurora and all her guys. Even asshole Ezra. I understood his motives and he quickly changed his tune and groveled gloriously once he realized the error of his ways.
There’s a lot of sex and kinks going on in this one too, most of which are ones I personally like to read about. The only one I’m not a big fan of is pegging. But all the others I was totally on board with. DP? Yes. Praise? Yes. Degradation? Yes. Weird that I enjoy both of those, but I do.
Aside from the sex I really felt them all falling for each other. I enjoyed the minimal angst and drama too. I do like angsty romances sometimes too, but this was nice as well. I liked how she spent a good amount of alone time with each of the guys as well as together as a group.
I also loved the M/M thrown in there. And I appreciated that the two guys who weren’t bi weren’t skittish about group sex. All around good stuff!
Overall this was so much fun to read. I couldn’t put it down. Loved the characters. Loved their open communication. Loved the steam. It was a great lighter RH!

Don't judge a book by the cover! Because if you do, you will never get to enjoy this sexy, kinky and super spicy why choose gem called Scandalous by Cala Riley. This is the steamy and emotional adventure of a sweet and sassy girl with three very different kinds of gorgeous men!
Social media influencer Aurora Blake forms a friendship with another famous influencer called United Nations..a group of four drop dead sexy guys. An American. A British. An Aussie. A Puerto Rican. Their exclusive parties are legendary and it will be great to get invited..not just for more fame, but to meet them in real life. But the grumpy ahole of the group Ezra thinks she can change their dynamics and ruin their friendship. Liam, Drake and Santi dont agree. They think she will fit them all. Someone who can love them all.
Omg I love each of these guys so much. Liam the Aussie is the energetic excited and cool member of the group. He loves fast and hard and is always looking for something positive and thrilling. But he is also easily hurt. I love his energy. Santi once said Liam is the golden retriever of the group and I agree 200%. He will make you laugh and swoon. Drake and Liam have been friends the longest time and they are also gay for each other. Dayyyyum I love when a why choose has good sword crossing and this story delivered it. Liam and Drake are fire together. Drake has a dysfunctional family in USA and that sometimes cast shadow in his heart. But overall he is a sweetheart. He has an extra soft spot for Liam but he is protective and caring of everyone! Santi is the oldest member and he is a very balanced ( and very hot) Puerto Rican. Have to love a man who loves to cook! He is a perfect mix of sexy alpha and sweet lover! And then we comes to the British grump! He was the most reluctant about Aurora. He was fascinated with her beauty and her heart but he was scared of change. He is rough and tough and needs control in every situation and Aurora is unsettling him. But dammmmn his kink is my poison. I hated him a bit for breaking Aurora's heart but he groveled so well. Aurora held her own against him too. I love this girl. She is adorable but sassy too. She loves freely and she knows what she wants. She is not ashamed of loving four men and who knew a sassy vixen hides beneath the sweet girl! They had some complications as they live a very public life and social media can be a dumpster fire. They fit each other perfectly. Liam's jolly side, Drake's a bit brooding side, Ezra's ahole side, Santi's mature side..Aurora completes them! And it was super duper crazy hot!! I loved how it was a globetrotting adventure. From Sydney to London to San Juan to Las Vegas to New York. Good bromance is my weakness and Scandalous was extremely awesome in that department. It was full of witty banter, sexy times and heartwarming moments.
A reverse harem that ticks all the steamy romance boxes Scandalous by Cala Riley is a perfect example of what I love about RHR. While it begins with attraction, opportunity, mutual wants and desires, it also inspires the emotions that engage the heart. In this RHR, all the characters are clearly developed as individuals and so relatable! For me, the appeal of RHR is that there's something or someone for any and every mood and/or need. Whether the need is emotional or physical, one or all is going to fulfill it. Each character is appealing in his or her own way. Aurora is kindhearted and warm, sweet and sexy with a naughty, wild side. Ezra is a blunt, bossy pants with a heart of gold and a protective streak beyond compare. He is often hard to read, but when he lets his walls down… Swoon! An unexpected romantic. Liam and Drake are a package deal, so there is a MM element to this book. It was as touching and sincere as it was sweat inducing sexy! These two add a wonderful dynamic as a couple as well as individuals. Drake is constantly ensuring everyone is happy, safe and well while Liam is always on the go and looking to be sure everyone is having a good time. Last but not least, Santi. Santi is the king of flirting and romance and likely to make you smile and sigh often throughout this book. I loved the dynamic between the guys and it only gets better as Aurora is introduced into their group and their poly relationship begins to form and solidify. The plot comes from many aspects. Aurora is still in college while the guys are sort of jet-setters and living in England most of the time. The way these characters meet and develop their friendship is interesting! In this case, social media is all positive as it brings this RH together and made possible. I found the influencer aspect of this story attention getting for sure and pertinent to how they grow and evolve. The realness is also evident as these characters all experience antagonism, through someone or something. The negativity comes at each of them in different ways, for different reasons and from different individuals. Overall, the interest in each other is strong for most and the one hold out really does a number on Aurora. The negativity and hateful behavior nearly ruins any chance this RH has before it really can even get started. But the wooing gets underway with delightful, flirty, sexy and steamy results! This poly relationship is destined to be. Neither anyone or anything will get in the way of their HEA. I read an ARC of this book via Grey’s Promotions and voluntarily share my review.
Scandalous is a story about 5 social media influencers, which I absolutely LOVED! I went into this book pretty blind, I’ve never read anything from this duo, and I assumed it was going to be relatively spicy based off it being a why choose romance but I was surprised at just how spicy it actually was!
I really enjoyed the different personalities we got from each character, I loved having multiple pov’s! This was definitely a fast burn romance, which for how life seems on social media seemed pretty accurate as far as real life.
I liked how the story was written, it had a lot of funny moments, some cringy moments, but all in all it was definitely and enjoyable read and kept me wanting to keep reading!
I will definitely be checking out the other books and upcoming books written by this duo!
This was my first book by Cala Riley and it was perfect! I got to buddy read this with a friend and we were constantly messaging back on forth over our love for ALL FOUR of our MMCs. The characters are so well developed and one thing I loved was all of them being extremely mature and very big on communication. I laughed😂, swooned😍🥰, cried🥺😭 and sweated🥵😈 while reading and I have no doubt this will be a book I come backto as a comfort reread! Each of these men have taken different pieces of my heart. Also Holland is the freaking best BFF ever! 💕
Oh this book was definitely scandalous and I loved it.
Aurora is an influencer and a pretty popular one at that. She invites people to join her segments as she shares her life and even live cooks with her fans.
She has been doing this for a couple years and she has a goal this year and it’s to get invited to a party thrown by the United Nations. They are four guys who are also influencers but they were given that nick name because they are from different countries. They are known as The American (Drake), The Brit (Erza), The Aussie (Liam) and The Boricua (Santiago).
The men.. they are amazing. All the characters in this book had me smiling big and laughing. The banter between Aurora and the guys is so funny. And boy does she bring the spice and variety within this why romance book. She is a sassy character and her friendship with Holland is wonderful to read about.
I loved the journey that we are taken on and all the insights we are given by the characters. I really enjoyed that this was low angst and that it really focused on the found family trope that I feel like isn’t written enough.
I just knew going into this book that I would be totally obsessed but the way I lived and breathed Aurora and her guys Liam, Drake, Santi and Ezra took me by a storm! 😍 I loved them so hard and the love surrounding them and their burning chemistry is incredible! My obsession for Cala Riley's books just keeps increasing with every story I read from them and Scandalous is easily at the top two; this was so much fun but also gave me the FEELS! 👌🏽💕
The way these guys love Aurora had me melting six ways from Sunday 🫠 All in their own beautiful ways, always taking care of each other. Of her. The way all of them have their love languages matching so well with hers; it's so freaking hot between them like gaah how!? Especially the way one would degrade her and the other praise her immediately after hehe 🔥🤭 But also it's fun, sweet, precious and really raw between them!
Liam and Drake's love for each other also separately from the others had me completely, they love so deeply and their special bond is truly amazing 🥹💋
What I think got to me the most is the ✨️ PASSION ✨️ between these five, whether it's from the way they love each other or through the steamy scenes that had both the hotness and emotion, the way you can feel it so deeply yourself too is spectacular!
There's so many moments within these pages that made me wanna crawl inside the book and never get back! I swear I was pretty much swooning every second 🥰 and just everything about this book had me so in love!
Cala Riley brought the heat with this book! I wasn’t sure what to expect going in but it was worth the excitement!
Scandalous is a why choose romance the follow the lives of five social media influencers. To me this book was exciting and felt real with the way these characters were written. It was so interesting seeing how these characters handle their life not only together but also separately. Aurora is such a sweet kind hearted heroine that fits perfectly into the guys friend group. This group of guys really hits every kind any woman would need. Liam is the fun, energetic puppy like, Drake is the heartfelt caring one, Ezra is the broody one, and Santi is the god like hottie who cooks. Together they all just fit. I do wish we got more of the guys back story’s to really develop their improvements. These characters together brought the steam to the pages. This book comes with good banter, high energy, and overall lovely words.
This was definitely a fun read. I think Cala Riley really wrote this book well. I look forward to more from Cala Riley. I definitely recommend Scandalous for all to read.
I received this from Grey’s Promotions in exchange for my honest opinion.
This book was such a fun, and different story. Aurora is a mess, but one day, one of her messes goes viral. This launches her into stardom as an influencer.
Aurora forms a friendship with four fellow influencers, called the United Nations, there’s an American (Drake), a British guy (Ezra), an Australian (Liam), and a guy from Puerto Rico (Santi). Aurora wants them all, and isn’t going to choose.
This book is interesting, and I haven’t read any other reverse harem books, but I did enjoy this. I would like it better if there weren’t quite so many characters involved. Still recommend
This book has - reverse harem - Age gap - Friends to lovers - Instant attraction - Spicy 🌶️ - Why choose
This is my first book by Cala Riley and let me tell you just WOW!!!! Idk if all of their books are this amazing or if it's just this one but I am willing to go out on a limb and say it's all of them. Because the writing was superb and the characters were so well developed and this book had multiple characters and pov's. And I loved that they gave all of the characters pov's!! I am in a big why choose kick romance right now. And this one was fantastic. I loved the plot and layout and lord the spice was there!!! And I can so see why Aurora couldn't choose because I couldn't either. I can't wait to check out more books by this author and if you like why choose or a little kink with your romance this book is definitely for you!! I highly highly recommend it!!! It was a great read!! ~ By Tina
I'll admit it took me a minute to get into this book. I really enjoy why choose but I did not find myself connecting at the beginning. I found myself really disinterested in their influencer lives. But I'm so glad I stuck with it because I enjoyed the progression of their relationship. There is no third-act breakup which I liked.
So Aurora is a social media influencer and after one viral moment, she has been able to build a steady following and has even built friendships with a group of equally successful guys. Santiago, Ezra, Drake, and Liam. They flirt with one another online, except for grumpy Ezra, they enjoy arguing with one another. They have even been the subject of her fantasies. The problem is she wants all of them.
Thanks so much to the authors and Greys Promo for this ARC to review.
This was a really fun book to read. Loved it from the first chapter. It’s an easy read, with a great storyline and lots of steamy chemistry and hot moments.
Aurora is an influencer on the rise. Her posts are often infiltrated by a group of male influences, four guys that fans refer to as The United Nations. To Aurora they are all her dreams come true. It all starts as some innocent flirting but quickly becomes more when 2 of these hot men turn up on her doorstep.
Be warned this is a reverse harem romance, involving one woman and four men,you can expect more than contemporary MF (MF, MM, MMMMF).
Tropes: why choose (MMFMM), influencers, age gap, friends to lovers, enemies to lovers, long distance,

I enjoyed this why choose romance so much! I loved all five of the main characters. Aurora was such a sweet and genuine soul. While Santa, Liam, Drake, and Ezra, each complemented her in their own way. And don’t even get me started on how cute Drake and Liam were with their own relationship. I think each of them being influencers allowed them to create a family where everyone felt understood and accepted. Between the sweet words, the spicy times, and the romantic gestures, this book and its characters easily won me over.
