Cami really is my heroine, she outdid herself in this story! As always she is a little bit skeptical about the whole FBI thing, but as she has no way out she gets involved (and invested) in a new case where the culprit drowns the victims. She also gets annoyed with her partner's behavior as he is so used to her IT abilities and how fast she tracks information that now it seems she is not fast enough... Just Right is a very good story that grabbed my attention from the beginning. I thank the author for the ARC.
Cami successfully downloads her sister's FBI file. Something looks very suspicious here! Then Connor calls & tells her to get to his office. Afraid he knows about her activities she rushes to his office & a new investigation. A killer is cyber stalking blonde haired people, knocking them out, putting them in water to drown and leaving a blue bracelet with a red earring in it. They race to catch him! At the end of the story Cami gets a very interesting hint about her sister's disappearance.
2.9 As with the others in in the series, the book had potential if it hadn’t been so factually ridiculous Cami have no patience and seems to think she’s an FBI agent in her assist role. Also, I’m sure every FBI department wants to bring an IT person in the field with absolutely zero training. Ridiculous dramatics make this book seem more cartoon like than a real depiction of a storyline The books are short and fast-paced, but have a little else going for them
Cami’s getting closer to the answers she seeks about her sisters disappearance. She’s still bitter about the lack of details from the FBI investigation and her hacking their website for information has consequences. She and her partner Connor are learning to work together better but she’s getting close to another agent attached to their team.
This wasn’t as good as the 2nd to me. How is it that every suspect they have to chase to interview. That seriously cannot be how it is. And her saying “I know this is the killer” after looking at everyone’s picture. It seemed redundant
Either way. It was a great story. I love these short cop/murder stories.
Another great fast paced binge worthy read. I love that each book has its own plot but the larger plot looms over. Can’t wait to read the next ones!! The hook at the end via the epilogue was a brilliant twist!
Love the Cami Larks character. The character is developing in each book. She and her FBI partner are learning more about each other and gaining confidence.
