This was an exciting series opener full of action, suspense and steamy romance. We get to meet Fawn, a wolf shifter with a little amnesia and a lot of trouble on her heels, when she gets found by bear shifter Huck, a retired executioner. He is so attracted to this little wolf that he thinks he's going feral from lack of a mate. Fawn, however, knew he was her fated mated and loved how big and strong he was. She was so bold and it was fun to watch her trying to work him to her way of thinking ;D There is an age-gap romance in here with a touch of DDlg, making the romance rather hot ;P I found the world building clear and well detailed, so I was immediately immersed in the story and rooting hard for these two to get an HEA. It was entertaining and I'm looking forward to the next book :D

When Fawn awakens in the small rustic cabin, she has no idea how or why she is tere, and at first she doesn’t even know anythin about herself. but what she does know is that her wolf insists that the extremely large bear shifter is her fated mate. When Huck takes the little worlf shifter to his cabin to recover from her injuries his inner bear is insisting that she is his mate. But Huck is an older shifter and h’s afaid to believe that after all these years, fate would grant his desire for a mate.
Some exciting action, and a little suspense in a steamy age gap paranormal romance in an interesting brand-new world. The characters are well written and compelling. A quick must read, happily ever after by one of my favorite authors. I highly recommend this book.

An interesting, entertaining, and full of passion story with Huck, a grizzly bear struggling with his fears, doubts, and emotions and Little Fawn, who needed someone to protect her from the bad things that were going to happen to her. Fate arranged for her to get one of her own and what a protector! And for Huck, a little wolf! What a precious gift for the hopeless old bear! Little Fawn seemed to have read the script! I found her boldness amusing. The villains were not lacking, and the grizzly had his arsenal ready. Action, suspense, camaraderie, and a Little and Daddy relationship with a lot of energetic passion. A refreshing change of scenery! I'm waiting for more stories of Shadow Falls bears who seem to have an interesting past.

I received this book with the understanding that I could leave a voluntary and honest review.
In this book we meet Fawn Sheppard & Huck Clifton. When this book opens we find Fawn running from her pack. The thing is the only way to get away will be to go over the falls that she hears. When she wakes up she realizes she has no memory of why she was running or who she was running from. Huck is sure that he is developing the madness not that she is his true mate. He is willing to protect her and wait until she knows who she is before even considering claiming her. Can these two find a HEA or will the past make a future impossible?
Another amazing hit by this author. I would highly recommend it to anyone and everyone.

Fawn has no memory of who she is or who she is running from! Huck vows to protect her from harm! Will Fawn remember in time and will Huck finally believe they are mates?

New try
This was the first time I have ever read one of Scarlett’s books. I was excited to read a shifter romance, but was disappointed in the repetitiveness of the dialogue. The plot and relationship seemed forced and without depth. Additionally, if you are not a fan of spice this book is not for you.

This is book one of an exciting new series. Wolf shifter Fawn awakes to find herself in a cabin with bear shifter Huck. She doesn't remember her name or how she came to be with Huck. One thing she does know is that he is her fated mate. Steamy HEA

The chemistry from the start was amazing. I just loved how the story evolved. It has danger but also so much romance. He would do anything to protect her even if it is from him. The story is a fast read and moves fast. But you will fall in love with this new little twin of shifters too.

Wonderful!
Huck is an old bar & on the cusp of madness because he hasn't got a mate. He's out fishing in the lake, when he smells a scent & thinks he is finally going mad. He follows the scent & finds a little wolf. You will have to read the book to find out what happens!

Mr. Grizzly has my vote of confidence. He may be an old geezer but his concern and care for his little wolf earned him my respect and admiration. He is indeed her protector bear. I loved the life they had after they claimed each other.

This is a decent start to a new series. It is a fast paced quick read novella which gives us some background information on other characters. It needs a bit more proofing for grammatical errors, but not to much.

Short quick read.
Love this book was extremely predictable. It was a very good short read. I highly recommend it if you like bear and wolf shifter books. Finding your true mate. Saving your meat from danger. And starting a family.

Gotta Love a Growly Bear!
I enjoyed the story . It was well executed and flowed well. I did have a problem with the mistakes in spelling, as well as errors made in tense and pronouns. Otherwise I would have given it a five star rating.

This is a well written story with great characters. This one is worth your time. This is a great beginning to a new series. I look forward to reading more of this series. I would encourage everyone to get this one. I think you will enjoy this one I know I did.

If you are looking for a short steamy story this one fits the bill. The characters were interesting and the story was nice. There was a bit of steamy romance going on that helped to move the story along.
