Loved It!!

What a great twist with a book that features an MC romance author and the real-life biker she meets. Rage is the VP of the Satan’s Descendant’s MC and is going to be giving his sister away at her wedding and this is where he meets Jennifer the divorcee mom of two girls. What a great story and I cannot wait to see what comes next.

Glenn has written some of my all-time favourite gripping, swoon-worthy MC romance books. She surprised me with this sweeter MC romance storyline. It’s a bit of a contrast from her Kings of Korruption MC series where there was a lot more heaviness, grit, and suspense. Leather & Lace was a nice change of pace and had a more contemporary setting focusing on Jen’s world rather than Rage’s motorcycle club.

It’d be an amazing book for readers dipping their toes into MC romances. It gives insight into the hero’s dangerous world without delving too much into the details. It’s also quite light-hearted, sweet, and has a great romantic build-up between its main characters. Although Jen and Rage’s relationship technically developed fairly quickly and one I consider to be “instalove”, as you progress through the story you encounter some great moments of vulnerability and depth shared that you tend to forget the pair have only just met.

It’s steady-paced storytelling and told from dual POVs. It’s part of the Motorcycles, Mobsters & Mayhem author collaboration series but has been advised that it can be read as a standalone novel. In saying that, in my opinion, this story was left with an open-ended conclusion. There were plot points I wanted answers to and I would’ve loved an epilogue. I’m unsure if Glenn plans to continue Jen and Rage’s story in the future or if they make an appearance in her next book from this world, but I’d like to hold out hope that this won’t be the last time we see these two lovebirds.

One of the main things that stood out for me was how Glenn has written her characters, in particular, Rage. He’s probably one of the most sweetest, most caring bikers I’ve read (especially from Glenn’s MC romance books).

These characters are imperfect but it’s what makes them relatable and down-right likable! Both Jen and Rage have personal struggles and dilemma’s that their dealing with in their lives but they’ve become each other’s support system. It’s an overall uplifting storyline, with tons of positivity weaved throughout from the solid (and hilarious) friendships, to the encouraging book community Jen is a part of, and let’s not forget Rage’s band of brothers from his MC.

It’s a quirky storyline. If you ever wondered what it would be like when fiction meets real-life, then this one will be an entertaining treat for you. Jen is a romance author who specializes in writing MC romance books. She unexpectedly meets Rage, a real-life member of a motorcycle club. Vice President to boot, and when their two worlds clash, zingy interactions and constant sparks ignite.

I did find some parts a little repetitive at times trying to put emphasise into the trouble Jen has found herself in, but it’s still very much an enjoyable read. The secondary cast of characters are a fun addition. Jen and Rage are down to earth and have such genuine chemistry. There’s no drama and no angst in their relationship, which is refreshing. It’s an adult relationship that I easily got behind.

This book honestly left me smiling. Jen and Rage have a few hurdles to overcome but their story definitely left me rooting for their relationship to last a lifetime. I’m looking forward to reading Glenn’s next book in the MMM world!

Rage and Jen = perfection. She's a divorced mother of two girls, and an MC romance author attending a book signing event. He's in town for his baby sister's wedding. Fate (and/or Jen's cyberstalker) have them meet and it's all swoon from there. Does not end with HEA, ends with HFN.

Jennifer Smith is a divorced mother of two young girls and a well known Indie author who is headed towards a book event for Motorcycles Mobsters & Mayhem a popular book event in Houston. Thrilled that this is a real event that we all know of along with some of the Authors Jen is friends with. Geri Glenn has brought this story to life especially as the reader is given a better insight into how much effort each author goes through to be with their fans. She is soon about to be targeted by Lex a disgruntled male author who is cyberstalking her, the event and a few other well known authors.

Jennifer writes MC romance stories only barely scratching the genre, doesn't believe in true love as she has had no luck finding love. When she arrives in Houston, she discovers her reservation has been cancelled and now has to find a place to stay. She is about to run into Cash Rage Hudson VP of the Satan's Descendant's MC who is instantly drawn to her and assists her. Once she arrives at a motel she discovers that Rage and Snake are staying at the same place as these two strike up a conversation Rage asks her to meet him for drinks. He is in Houston to give away his baby sister who he helped raised since he was a teenager as his mother only thought of alcohol and left his sister in his care. Dreading seeing his mother, his only thought is to make sure his sister is happy on her wedding day as the love and close bond Rage and his sister have together is full adoration and love.

As Rage and Jen spend time with each other the chemistry between them is explosive, the sexual tension can no longer be denied as they explore the passion between them that is hard, fast and oh so sexy. Has fate intervened and brought these two together? Once again the cyberstalker will trash Jen's room as well as her books/swag for the event, Rage and Snake will come to her rescue vowing to protect her. Rage has this overwhelming feeling that he can't get enough of Jen but as he is Leather and she is Lace can it be possible two opposites can be together? Now Jen has to reach out to the other authors informing them that Lex is behind it all and that the event maybe compromised. With the help from Rage and his brothers of the Satan's Descendants MC who arrive in Houston to stop Lex.

So much angst and suspense at the convention when women at the event are all over Angel and Buck as they witness these real life bikers. Jen's friends are a riot with all of the sexual banter that goes back and forth with Angel and Buck. Soon things take a turn when chaos erupts when Lex arrives with a gun and Angel and Buck diffuse the situation protecting Jen and the others as they take him to an undisclosed site until Rage can meet up with them after the wedding. Now Rage will do what he and his brothers do best take care of the cyberstalker leaving him unable to use a keyboard again. Now as Rage and Jen spend their last day together both are wondering how will they be able to say goodby. Is a long distance relationship doable? When Rage returns to the clubhouse he finds that he misses Jen, drinking alone at the bar his brother tells him to go after her. Rage decides to take the two hour ride to be with her. Once they reunite Rage and Jen decide they can't be without each other as they decide to begin a new adventure together. Can't wait to learn how their relationship will progress going forward. This was a well thought out romance story by Geri Glenn, this is a must read! So looking forward to Snake's story and the Satan's Descendants MC.

Rage & Jen Are Hot Together!!! 🔥🔥❤️

My first read by Geri Glenn and most definitely not the last. I honestly can’t wait to jump into her backlist of books. This MC romance was absolutely awesome. The characters were perfect and the storyline revolving around the Motorcycles, Mobsters and Mayhem event made it even more perfect. Every one of these books in this series is making me wish I could go to this event this year.

Jen is an Indie Author who’s attending the signing event but when she gets to her hotel she’s staying at her life gets turned upside down by someone the Indie community has been struggling with. Rage is in town for his sisters wedding. As VP of the Satan’s Descendants MC he’s got to keep focused, give his sister away, avoid his mom and get back. That is until he meets Jen and his entire world gets flipped upside down. These two are a match made in perfection, intense chemistry and insane levels of heat between the two of them. Their story is one you’ll want to read.

This was full of steam, action, humor, emotional ups and downs, danger, and a cast of characters you definitely want more of. I’m really hoping for more of Snake, Angel and Buck. This ends on a HEA but I definitely wanted more of Jen and Rage and where and how their relationship goes from that point. I absolutely loved their story and highly recommend it. Looking forward to more in the Satan’s Descendants MC!!!

Jen is a busy single mother who doesn't really buy into romance despite the fact that she writes them for her career, and I LOVED her so much. She's off to a book event called Motorcycles Mobsters & Mayhem In Houston when things really go sideways for her getaway. See, there's this despicable person who is cyber stalking her, and that person is escalating to new levels of chaos, but despite the terrible things happening to her, she's still a bright light throughout. Rage has come to Houston for his baby sister's wedding, and while he loves his sister a ton, he's not looking forward to dealing with his nasty mother. These two come face to face at the same place, and the sparks are flying from the jump, so their interactions are fun to experience. Rage jumps right in to become her protector, and they end up having a good time & those good times are HOT! There's some supporting cast to show out as well, making me laugh quite a bit, especially when it comes to her friends & his brothers interacting. Of course there's still that nasty stalker out to get the authors so there's also the underlying suspense that I love so much, and all of this goodness makes this story perfect in my eyes! HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

A sweet sexy story.
Loved the premise of it.
An author who writes MC romances. And lo and behold a biker comes to her rescue.
Jen is very likable and relatable. A single mom of two. Trying to raise her girls the best she can.
While trying to make a living. She’s a romance author of MC stories.
Rage is VP of his Mc. Sexy and built with a heart of gold.
Both of them are in the same city for personal commitments.
Jen is doing a book signing event. And Rage is attending his sister’s wedding.
When danger comes knocking on Jen’s door, well Rage isn’t having any of it.
He comes to the rescue MC style.
I loved these two. They are cute and adorable together. They’re also sexy and spicy.
One of my favorite parts was the event of the book signing and having Angel and Buck there.
That was funny with laugh out loud moments.
I enjoyed the book very much.
I just wish there was an epilogue with how they worked out the logistics of their situation.
And I really wanted to know how the girls and Rage got along.
Especially with the kind of father they have.

What an excellent addition to the Mayhem Makers series and I can’t wait for more from the Satan’s Descendants MC. The author has given us a very well written storyline with characters that you can’t help but root for and love (the banter and chemistry between them) is simply amazing. Our couple meet when they are both out of town. Cash “Rage”, VP for the Satan’s Decendant’s MC, is in town for his little sister’s wedding and Jen, a divorced author of MC romances and mother of 2, is in town for a book signing. They totally meet by accident but the sparks are instant. Imagine Jen’s surprise when the hot guy she met is a biker. But Jen isn’t a spur-of-the-moment kinda gal. But when a stalker strikes, Rage doesn’t take no for an answer, so their “friendship” begins but when a stalker strikes, will she accept his help?

I Loved the banter, the suspense, the romance and thrills. Highly recommend grabbing this MC Romance up, you won’t be sorry you did.

Jen & Rage

It was supposed to be a week for her--writing, meeting, making new fans, and mixing it up with old friends. Supposed to be the operative word. So many things weren't going according to plan. The worst, is an old and ongoing enemy. The best, a real biker. One that looks like she writes about and who goes out of his way to help her pick up fallen supplies for the book event.

Their meeting isn't the last time they'd see each other. Will that meeting lead to a chance for more? Will he be her champion with the stalker she and other authors have been dealing with?

The author never fails to entertain and this is no exception. I enjoyed the book and read it from start to finish. (I meant to just check it out but couldn't stop)

A unique story with great characters, plenty of steam, and an unexpected romance.

Leather and Lace is the first book in this multiple author series and features Rage, the VP of the Satan’s Descendants MC and a much loved romance author, Jen😍

Jen is driving to Houston for a book signing event and leaving her daughters with their father. Hoping to get some writing done prior to the event, it soon all goes pear shaped when the room she booked and paid for in advance, is cancelled and she’s forced to find somewhere else to stay. Jen meets Rage outside the seedy motel where she’s found accommodation, when he helps her😊

Rage is home to attend his little sister’s wedding but soon realises he needs a distraction from his mother and Jen is it😉 A very enjoyable story and I’m looking forward to more❣️I received an advanced copy and willingly leave my honest review❤️

Jennifer Smith may be an romance author, but she doesn't really believe in all that romance stuff. It's great for stories and for her living, but it isn't real. When she attends the Motorcycles Mobsters & Mayhem event in Texas, her life becomes mayhem.

Rage would rather be back home with his MC brothers than in Texas, but he wouldn't miss his little sisters wedding for anything. Even if he has to deal with his mother while there, and that's not his idea of a good time at all. When he has a run in with a feisty little woman in the parking lot of his hotel, his time in Texas may be looking up.

I am so loving these MMM books. This was another great story in the Mayhem Makers books and I loved being introduced to Geri Glenn and her Satan's Descendants MC. I will be looking for more books from Geri Glenn to read in the future and can't wait for more MMM books to come.

Leather and Lace by Geri Glenn was part of the Mayhem Maker series written by various romance MC authors. It wasn’t my fist book by Glen, but it was my first of the Mayhem Makers series.

Rage was the VP of Satan’s Descendants MC and was visiting Houston for his baby sister’s wedding. Jenn was an Indie author - aka Remi - and was visiting for a writer’s convention. The two would likely never meet but through some cyberstalking meddling, their paths crossed and the story began. I enjoyed the premise of the storyline as well as the suspenseful vibe. As a novella, the plot developed quickly. It was steamy and sexy. I desired more detail, depth and dimension and would have loved a full story. There was so much more that could have happened, but all in all, for a shorter story, it was fun, steamy and entertaining.

This is a well written story which has heartbreak, family, friendships, danger, suspense, intrigue, twists, emotions, humor, witty banter, and love, which leads to an entertaining and steamy page turner.
I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.

I loved this book. The author was genius in mixing a real life author event with the fantasy of an MC. Rage finds himself in the right place at the right time when one of the authors from the book signing appears to be in a spot of bother. Rage and Snake start to protect her from the very get go as Rage feels a strong need to do this and its a good thing too because it appears someone is messing with Jennifer. The longer they spend time with each other Rage and Jennifer develop feelings for each other and their chemistry is absolutely smokin. Rage also has his own bugs to bear which he needs to get sorted out. This book is full of drama, action and a lot of emotions that will have you not wanting to put the book down and you will be wanting to see more of the MC.

Glitch inthe book!!!!! KEEP READING

There's a digital glitch in this book. OMG I got about 3/4's of the way through and it jumped to post your review. I thought you're kidding me where's the ending???? I then went to the store and read the reviews. All negative like my thoughts at that moment. I've read all of Geri Glenn's books and they're really good so what's up???! So.... I opened it back up and it jumped from 98% to 74% and continued the story till the conclusion. Maybe Lex came back to haunt Jen! Lol lol anyway this is a good story and another winner from Geri. Those of you who never finished there is no cliffhanger. Go back to page 74% and finish😘😘😘😘

This book is part of them Satan’s Descendants MC series and the Mayhem Makers - Collection. Jennifer Smith is one of the country’s most popular romance author and she doesn’t believe in romance. She is off to MMM signing. The trip doesn’t get off to a great start with her daughter calling to complain about their father and then her reservation being cancelled by her internet stalker. Now she finds herself at a crappy little motel. Only upside is the handsome man who helps her in the parking lot. Rage is only in town because his little sister who he practically raised is getting married. Runny into Jennifer in the parking lot of the hotel is a bonus though. Then finding a man leering at her while she is sleeping poolside sparks something. Rage wants to be there for her. Especially as she tells him her issues and things progress. He isn’t taking any chances but he will need some help from his club. This book was a fantastic read. Neither Rage or Jennifer believes in love. They both had rough childhoods that showed them love isn’t read but what they feel for each other is. Could they have something real and lasting or will it be just this weekend? I loved these characters and I will be looking for more in both series. Fantastic job Geri. I love your books.

Thank you thank you thank you for having a not over the wall feeling but awesomely normal age Female lead. While I don't mind reading younger leads its so nice reading about a lead in my age group who is not being pictured as over her prime!

Leather & Lace was a great story, Geri Glenn did a great job on it, the plot was strong, it was packed with a little of everything, the story was written well. Jen and Rage were strong characters, their path was a bumpy one but they made a strong pair, they were good for each other, they were well matched, the connection was strong, their chemistry was off the charts, it was steamy, they were perfect together.
I enjoyed this story, I'd suggest reading it.

What a great story. Jen the author and Rage the Vice President of the Satan’s Descendant’s MC meet of all places at a book signing event she was attending. Their worlds are about to be erupted in chaos. I am rooting for them the whole time. Then trouble strikes, will Rage be the hero Jen needs? This book was so good. There was an issue with the original file so it may need to be updated in content and settings because it does not end on a cliffhanger?

Jen is an author and on her way to a book signing. But from the minute she arrives at the hotel, things take a sinister twist.
Rage appears to be in the right place at the right time and their chemistry is off the charts. Love the connection they felt almost straight away and he goes into protection mode! My heart!!

Jen has been experiencing devastating occurrences which have only got worse,and with the help of Rage,she tries to get to the bottom of it,and all the while have the most perfect week of peace,bliss,writing and not forgetting the hotness with a perfect biker! Rage is the VP of the Satan’s Descendant’s MC and is going to be giving his sister away at her wedding and this is where he meets Jennifer the divorcee mom of two girls. What a great story and I cannot wait to see what comes next.
THe only thing I was little disappointed about was that the story felt very unfinished as there is a lot left hanging so fingers crossed the author will continue.
