The second issue is definitely picking up the pace in the story. Batman showed up and I’m not sure if I wanted him so early on. Didn’t hurt the story but I think it takes away from Punchline. Look like it might just be in this issue though. As far as Punchline, she continues to show her reckless and chaotic way of fighting and thinking. She is not afraid to get what she wants, even if that thing is the whole ACE Chemical factory lol. She is not here to fuck around, that’s for sure. Loved it!

I'm a bit undecided on this series. I haven't added it to my pull list yet but I've picked up both issues. I'll keep grabbing it off the shelf and will remain on the fence until I either pull it or just drop it.

Great art but I'm not sure of the story yet. Not definite hook here for me, but I enjoy the idea of Punchline and her style and even though I seem to gravitate towards male writers I'm always excited to read great stories by female writers.

One thing I'd love to see more in DC in general, which has lacked a lot lately, is seeing our heroes and villains in there unmasked personal lives more, and see that especially from a female perspective is something I hope gets touched on in Punchline.

Still not sure I like this series, but it has improved from the first issue. There seems to be a lot more chaos to Punchline then we have previously seen. She seemed like a smarter criminal to me, but now she seems mostly impulsive. The story feels a bit rushed, in the sense that the formation of the team was very quick. Anyway, I do want to see what is going to happen, so it's definitely an improvement.

Starring the Dark Knight

The first big heist for the Royal Flush Gang - overtaking the Catwoman-controlled Ace Chemical plant. Great entrance for the Bat to spice things up. This second issue actually works much better than the first and really underlines how crazy Punchline is. I also enjoyed the humoristic sprinkles throughout. However it's still a pretty standard story and nothing special. I find the art style to be catchy and likeable. 3/5

I need there to be half star ratings on goodreads as this is better than the previous one. Not quite 4 stars, but more than 3 stars, but alas, not 3.5 star options.
To which I say in reminiscence of the words of Bruce Wayne "[it's] different, Dick."

I liked this issue more than the first. The art is really good. I enjoyed Batman in this issue. The story and action ramped up and the Punchline is a fun character.
