Journey life's skies with Greg Brown as he matures from fledgling to seasoned aviator, encountering aerial adventure and colorful characters along the way. An aerial road trip, often compared to 60s classics like Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance, and Jack Kerouac's On the Road.
This is a book for pilots and those who either would be pilots or those fascinated by the realism obtainable in today's computer flight simulators. Brown reminisces about his path to owning his own plane and the experiences he encountered along the way. It is not the great work of an Ernie Gann, but should be considered by anyone who liked "The Cannibal Queen" by Coonts or "Flight of Passage" by Rinker Buck. Just fun reading for anyone interested in light aircraft.
I really liked this book. It had many good short stories of Greg Brown's exciting flying adventures. As a student pilot I really look up to him! He sounds like a caring, pateint, confindent person that I would love to meet. If you are interested in aviation or like exciting short stories than I highly recomend this book to you!
