Lisa Daniels is a (young) retired school teacher who resides in Miami. After five years of teaching, Lisa Daniels found that it wasn’t quite the world that she wanted to inhabit. After leaving her position, she moved to Miami. She hasn’t regretted it.
In her worlds, Lisa Daniels creates characters that go beyond the usual narrative. While they definitively include romance, Lisa Daniels strives to make the worlds more real with characters that are more than just cardboard cutouts of the genre. All of the main characters (and many of the secondary ones) have a rich history that span much longer than the stories themselves. This makes it easy to weave the stories together so that you can see characters you met in previous tales and see how they have managed since.
The Dragons of Letera is her first standalone series. Letera is a world teaming with romance, action, and stories – it is a world that Lisa Daniels loves to explore with her readers, one character at a time.
It was written beautifully, and it all flowed really well. The ending was actually sweeter than I thought it would be, which is awesome. It's a good book to read for the Christmas season
Helen Grant just got fired and her ex-boyfriend, a snow leopard, emptied her savings account right before Christmas. She gets a call from the hospital saying her mother is unwell and decided to move home to Prenton.
Jason Blake is a playboy snow leopard shifter who owns Blake Industries. His best friend Trent bets him $50k to hookup with Helen before Christmas.
Helen gets a part time gig singing at Mike's restaurant but needs a lot more money to pay for her mother's cancer treatments. She applies to Blake Industries and gets the executive assistant position. Jason is wildly attracted to Helen and at first doesn't want to hire her but he reconsiders. They develop a relationship. Her ex ransacks her house looking for something to steal and she hookups up with Jason. Next morning she sees a disturbing text on his phone and runs out. He is frantic and finally finds her at the hospital just in time to rescue her from her ex. They reconcile and get their HEA.

A SNOW LEOPARD FOR CHRISTMAS is part of the Holiday Shifters Books by Lisa Daniels. This story has plenty of emotions, along with family conflict. You'll find it entertaining right from the beginning.
This is a good Christmas/paranormal romance. It is steamy and intense, emotional and dangerous - and full of love and warmth.
Playboy billionaire Jason has one rule, he doesn't date or pursue women that work for hm. But his new assistant is beautiful and he was immediately attracted to her.
Helen just hopes her job interview is successful. After what her last boyfriend did to her, she really needs this job.
Neither party is looking for a relationship, but life has its own way of deciding things. Things really get complicated when the ex shows up.
There were a few grammatical errors and confusing details, BUT overall a very good short story of fated love.💘.

In this book we meet Helen Grant & Jason Blake . Jason is the kind of guy who likes his life with no attachments other than his work. From the moment he sees Helen though he feels things he never has before and isn't sure what to do with this. When his best friend bets him he can't bed the girl of his choice by Christmas Jason is sure he has this in the bag. Helen is done with men they seem to only bring her trouble. Her latest one stole money from her, she loses her job and her apartment and found out at the same time her mom has cancer. So when she meets Jason for the second time though she finds him attractive she still doesn't trust him. Can these two find a HEA or will it just not be in the cards for them?
Another amazing story by this author. I would highly recommend it to anyone and everyone.
Helen has had a rough year she gets fired from her job and also finds out her ex-boyfriend, a snow leopard, cleaned out her savings account. Then she gets even worse news her mother isn't doing good and is in the hospital so she decides to head back to her hometown. Jason is a snow leopard shifter and owns Blake Industries where Helen gets a job. I loved the way Helen and Jason's relationship grew and how protective Jason was over her. A Snow Leopard for Christmas is book nine and a great addition to the Holiday Shifters series. The writing is well done, and the story has likable characters, danger, ex-drama, suspense, steam, and the ending is perfect. I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book.
Helen loses her job, and her es steals her money on the same day. She learns that her mother is sick, so she returns to her hometown. Helen works part time singing in a bar and applies for a job at Blake Industries. She becomes the executive assistant to Jason and its not long before they grow close. Jason has a secret, and it could end things between them if Helen learns about it before he can explain. Will he get the chance to explain it to her? Will they get their chance to be together?
This is a great story that will hook you in the first chapter. This is a well written and very entertaining story. Its a book that any book lover would enjoy.

This is book 9 of the Holiday Shifters series. It's not easy for Helen not only does her boyfriend leave her but also takes off with all her money. Fortunately she gets a job and meets Jason who is known as a player and she is also warned about that but that does not diminish the chemistry and attraction between them. The storyline and structure is perfectly described and it holds your attention and involves you with the characters. This book is ideal to read on its own, but especially around Christmas. Lisa Daniels has done her best again.

Helen (h) loses her job after getting conned by her ex, a snow leopard shifter, gets bad news about her mother, and finds herself in a small town looking for a new job. Jason (H), billionaire and snow leopard shifter, spies a singer at a restaurant and agrees to a bet with his friend that Jason has to make her his before Christmas. He’s surprised when the singer turns out to be Helen, his newly hired personal assistant. Helen is wary of getting involved with her playboy boss, but as the pair get to know one another things heat up. Sweet Christmastime shifter romance with some relationship angst and a snow leopard who can change his spots.
This book felt a bit messy. There were a lot of weird consistency errors that made it hard to focus on the actual romance for me. Plus the H and his little friend are beyond awful. Past the point of redeemable to me. And the h isn't awful, but she's not great. So unfortunately, I was left without anyone to root for and a bit underwhelmed. But I did like Helen's mom and friend a lot. I wish we got to see a bit more of them.

Will this playboy billionaire be brought to his knees?
I love reading holiday romance but when you add shifters & a sexy billionaire into the mix you are in for one steamy read with Helen & Jason's story. Helen desperately needs a job & the sexy playboy billionaire needs a new assistant. The attraction between them is undeniable but how long can Helen resist Jason? Will giving in to the desire cause her heart to be broken again? Definitely a 5 star holiday read.

A nice short read. No instant love but a nice hea. Helen seems to a smart person. But she ends up with the wrong guy, loses her job, her mom is now sick so she moves back to her hometown. I liked that she came back and still had friends to help her. Jason ihas that playboy attitude and way about him. I liked that he found his one. He did have a soft heart under all that business man attitude. His friend Tyler - he was very crude and often rude about things. Not much of a shifter story except that he is a shifter. A nice afternoon read
A Snow Leopard for Christmas has a story but both the hero and heroine exhibit the worst characteristics. Him - betting on getting a woman into bed is just hurtful and mean. Her - lets one ex-boyfriend destroy her life; doesn’t call the police when he renters her life; then the mother she’s supposed to be so close to - Is sick and she doesn’t call her for a week….Urgh!!!
The title grabbed my attention as I love Snow Leopards but unfortunately this just didn’t do anything for me. Didn’t like Helen’s thinking in regards to Kenneth. Her I loved him thinking was so off. She hadn’t known him more than a few weeks. Add in the fact she didn’t report him to the police for breaking in to her place, was so wrong. Jason was just a sleeze, making that bet and then not cancelling it, or being honest with Helen before taking her to bed. Read through Kindle Unlimited.
Helen is having it rough! Her boyfriend stole her money and left her! Then she got laid off from her job and found out her mother has cancer! She goes back home, hoping to help her mother. Jason is a shifter and play boy. His best friend bets him $50,000 that he can't bed the singer at the restaurant they are at. Turns out the singer is Jason's new assistant, Helen! Will Jason win the bet? Or will he realize in time that he is falling in live with Helen? Will Helen forgive him?

Jason Blake a Snow Leopard Shifter an a Billionaire playboy had made a bet with his best friend, that he could get any woman in his bed by Christmas Day. He best friend was to choose. Chosen for him was a singer at the restaurant. So when the next morning he had an appointment to interview a new replacement for a new assistant, he was floored, when Helen came into office and life, and that Helen was his fated mate was introduced to Jason.
Every time you think that things can't get any worse, the next nasty surprise comes along. - Helen's pre-Christmas happiness leaves a lot to be desired here. Add to that a Grinch ex-boyfriend and a sexy playboy boss with an ulterior motive, and the Christmas celebration can finally go down the drain... or not?
A fast-paced, easygoing pre-Christmas love story that, despite all the difficulties, still finds its HEA in the end.
This is a fun series. This story is medium spice with an open bedroom door. The story opens with the FMC getting fired, having been dumped by her boyfriend who left her with no money. Then a call that her mother is sick and she has to return to the town where she grew up. It's all better from there. she gets a good job, a possible boyfriend and then the ex shows up. A few real life issues are addressed and they earn their HEA.
Arc review I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. When Helen grant finds her world falling down around her she has to go back home to prenton to help her mom who has cancer . she finds that things are getting better with the help of Mr Jason Blake her new boss. So adorable I loved these character.
It was a sappy love story. But I liked that he helped her mother with the bills. Not sure wht Kenneth thought he could get money from someone who he took it all from. Not the sharpest person! Glad he got taken care of but still don't know why she never called the police.
Well written story and well developed characters! Helen was having a GREAT month! First, her boyfriend stole every cent out of their bank account. His name was on the account but she was the only person earning anything! Today her boss fired her! And now a doctor called. Her mother is in the hospital and has cancer! What is she going to do?!?
From pain comes love and laughter, for a guy with a bet with a friend to finding his true mate and loving her and forfeiting the bet,the rest is history.I would like to say thank you for all your hard work and may fortune smile 😃on you always 😁from a bookworm
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. Playboy Jason falls hard for Helen. I like how protective he is of her and especially how helpful Jason is. Helen falls for Jason as well despite her friend's warning.
Lisa Daniel and Scarlett Stone did a wonderful job with this book.Worth getting and reading. It had its suspense and HEA. Wish it had been a little longer, but was just as good.
Emotionally thrilling, action packed, sweetly sexy and engaging journey filled with interesting charters, witty banter, heart racing twists and undeniable passion.... Really enjoyed this emotional roller coaster journey from beginning to end.
A Snow Leopard for Christmas is book nine in the series Holiday Shifters by authors Scarlett Stone & Lisa Daniels. This is a very interesting tale that is filled with everything that makes you wish for HEA’s. Enjoy!!
What a fantastic story to read. I have loved every book that I have read by this author. She writes great storyline, fantastic characters. Loved the story plot of this book. How the fated mates end up getting together.

This is a cute story, of a little fast paced. My biggest issue is it could use better editing and run through a beta reader. There are some errors through and a few inconsitencies that cause some issues. Still worth the read.
I really enjoyed reading this book. It was a light paranormal love story with alittle danger, a little lust, and just the right amount of intrige to have wanting to read more.
A love story with a curve. The world of shifters is a brand new field but I must admit that the element of surprise makes for interesting reading. It also helps that the main male character is exceptionally good looking.
