I thought this book was going to be mostly poetry but the layout is actually short story poem short story poem. I think there is an equal amount of poems to stories but the majority of the pages are stories. Nevertheless I enjoyed them. I don’t think I’ve read feminist short stories before and they were very good. There were stories from women that come from a variety of backgrounds. Discusses things like motherhood, relationships, sexuality, race, work, unions, and girlhood. I highly recommend this book.
