Shelby and Wyatt’s story is part of the Billionaire Obsession series as well as being the fifth in the California Billionaires group. I have loved every previous story, and this one is no different! Wyatt is so intimidating and blunt but loves his family and friends. He is a respected member in Last Hope. Shelby, a chef and a recent California transplant, has become friends with Wyatt’s sister and sister-in-law. After a non-meeting set up by Shelby's cousin and Wyatts best friend and a horrendous first meeting, these two getting together didn't seem likely. I love the writing and the Ms. Scott's characters are so well-rounded! Wonderful read with the correct amount of grumpiness and sunshine!

Billionaire Unreachable: Wyatt by JS Scott was the fifth book in the California Billionaire series and the nineteenth book in her Billionaire’s Obsession series.
We were entertained earlier in the series with Shelby and Wyatt’s initial meeting. Shelby was the sassy and spunky caterer for Chase and Savannah’s wedding, while Wyatt was his grumpy intimidating self. Billionaire Unreachable picked up with this fun theme as the two continued to cross paths. I thoroughly enjoyed both characters, the storyline and the interactions of both families. True to the series, there was also a suspenseful plot with a rescue mission which added even more enjoyment. All in all, it was another great addition to the series. Next up is Shelby’s sexy cousin, Kaleb, in Billionaire Unexplained and I can’t wait!

Wyatt by J. S. Scott is book 5 in the California California Billionaires and book 19 in The Billionaire's Obsession Series. This is the story of Shelby Remington and Wyatt Durand. Wyatt has watch those around him find their happy ending but he doesn't think that he will do so. Tori is a caterer and friends with Tori and the other new wives of his group. Tori had a few run in with Wyatt leaving her with him not being a nice person. But, at a gathering she starts to see maybe she was wrong. Then Wyatt asked her to baby sit his dog Xena and she can use his massive kitchen to help her business. This opens them up to learning how much they truly want each other. Loved this author's writing. I highly recommend it! Loving these series too.

J.S. Scott knows how to make those Billionares human and this book is no exception. Shelby has worked hard to overcome her insecurities and her past. She isn't rich and is far from a super model. Things don't start off on the right foot when she meets Wyatt Durand, but a spark makes her wonder if Cinderella really can meet Prince Charming?
Wyatt knows he is an a**hole and he prefers seclusion over being the face of the company he has worked hard to keep going for his father. The last thing he needs is a stubborn redhead making him feel something. His siblings swear he just hasn't met the right woman, but there's no way he is going to put his guard down and be like them.
Before either of them realize it, their lives become intertwined. Do fairytale endings really happen or is this another moment in Shelby's life where she'll fall and have to pick up her own pieces? Can Wyatt fight the protective urges that creep in when someone he doesn't think he can care about needs him most?
You won't be able to put this book down as you fall deeper in love with Shelby and Wyatt, hoping they'll fall for each other and make fairytale dreams come true.

Wyatt Durand has given up on finding his forever. He knows he is stoic and hard to deal with. He tried in the past and does not want to go back there. Shelby Remington is a caterer and has become good friends with the Montgomery wives, especially Tori. Shelby has been trying to avoid Wyatt after two incidents that left her feeling like Wyatt was a complete jerk.
After a BBQ at Tori's house, Shelby realizes that Wyatt may not be so bad. Wyatt surprises everyone by offering Shelby use of his kitchen in exchange for meals. He also wants to pay her to watch is dog, Xena. Shelby hops on the idea and tries to stay out of Wyatt's way. Wyatt, on the other hand, is having none of that. He is cutting his days shorter to be with Shelby and Xena in the evenings. Both start to get to know the other and figure out they had the wrong impression.
Everything is going well until someone breaks into Shelby's apartment. Wyatt goes full protective mode and makes Shelby move into his house for the foreseeable future. Can either fight the attraction that they have for each other? Do we want them to? Things about their past comes out and Wyatt goes on a crusade to find the person that broke into Shelby's apartment. Shelby is given security. Nothing seems to be adding up.
You have to read this book to believe all that is going on. This burglary mystery gets deeper than you could imagine. So unexpected. Readers hearts will be beating fast to see how everything unfolds. I loved this this series from the beginning. I have to see what happens with the next billionaire. Did I forget to mention that Shelby has three very rich, very single cousins? One of them has got to be next.

Shelby and Wyatt meet at Chase and Savannah’s wedding. Sparks fly but not the good kind. They see each other again at Wyatt’s sister, Tori’s get together a year later and sparks fly again but for the better this time. When circumstances bring Shelby and Wyatt together secrets are revealed and when something evil comes into their lives true feelings come to light.
I loved this couple, the plot was strong and interesting, and the romance between Shelby and Wyatt was so swoon worthy. The secondary characters added fun and humor to the story as well as Wyatt’s friends giving it to him straight when he didn’t know up from down regarding Shelby. Both had been hurt but they found a way to help each other heal and live happily ever after.
Billionaires Alpha men is what JS Scott does so well. As I thoroughly enjoyed Billionaire Unreachable, I highly recommend it.

After an initial encounter with Wyatt after his brothers wedding, Shelby would rather stay clear of him but this may be unlikely as she is now best friends with his sister. At a family BBQ Wyatt returns early and is able to attend and forces the pair to be on the same space again.
Before he arrives Shelby confindes in his sister and tells her of their first meeting, along with how he refused to meet her when she first moved to the area as she didn't know anyone at the request of her cousin and one of his best ftiends.
Circumstances force them to live under the same roof and friendship blossoms.
Will Shelby get her prince charming with the grumpy Wyatt, and can they overcome their secrets and past and move forward together?
Another brilliant release grom this author, hooked ftom start to finish.

Billionaire obsession these books are an obsession, another fabulous read from JS Scott.
This series is fantasic and does not disappoint.
This is the story of Wyatt Durand & Shelby Remimgton. Wyatt is the oldest of the Durand family, he is a workaholic, he is grumpy and keeps himself to himself, he has watched his family find love but never really wanted it for him. He meets Shelby a year before at his brothers wedding that she catered for and 1st impressions are not good.
When Shelby moves to California to start a new life and move on from her past, she see's Wyatt again and realises he is a softy underneath the grumpy, arrogant man and that they more alike then she realises.
The chemistry is 🔥🔥🔥 and they both try to fight it.
I love how all the characters play a part in the these books throughout the series and I am so looking forward to more 😍

Wow, Wyatt Durand is one sexy alpha grumpy billionaire determined not to fall pathetically in love like his siblings did. Ha, I love that he failed horribly with that challenge. Wyatt had loved before and been burnt by a woman who only wanted him for his money, so trusting women was difficult for Wyatt. But when no nonsense, independent, fiery redhead Shelby comes along he doesn’t stand a chance. There is a physical attraction between these two from the start, but the emotional connection definitely takes time. Shelby has moved away from her home town and loved ones after being humiliated by a failed marriage and a deceitful husband, so the last thing on her mind is a relationship with an arrogant self depreciating billionaire who just wants his solitude. When these two start spending some time with each other through a mutually beneficial arrangement, their barriers start to come down and they realise they have more in common then they realised. Before long the one man that never thought he’d love again has fallen harder than all the billionaires before him in this long running series by the ever brilliant author J.S. Scott. The only bad thing about this book was that it had to come to an end. Even if it was a happily ever after. Definitely a must read.

And that was true for miles for both Wyatt and Shelby. Their pasts were plagued with betrayal and disappointment so it’s not surprising that both were now leery of love. Though Wyatt got the gold star for cranky aloofness he was a rock for his friends and family, even when it came to cranky dogs. Shelby’s first impression of him was not good - not good at all – so he had to work twice as hard to make up for it. And, wow, did he ever…
Shelby and Wyatt were wonderful additions to this favourite Billionaire series. I’m not a big fan of billionaires usually, with excess being the usual state of affairs, but this author has a different take on them. Humble, giving, rich as can be, but relatable, funny and struggling with emotions and love problems like every other human. With just more money in the bank of course… Throw in danger, secrets and a serious foodie and this story was so much fun to read from start to finish.
Be prepared for highs and lows in an emotional, steamy, family-filled ride. Great read!

Shelby moved to San Diego to get a fresh start that didn’t pan out the way she hopped when she arrived. She adapted like she always did. Her first meeting with Wyatt was met with contempt and a little bit of fire. But not all first impressions are accurate. Wyatt is set in his ways and doesn’t think that anyone could get past the gruff exterior and loaner attitude he shows everyone. When he takes a moment to let Shelby behind the mask he shows her the man he really is and the one his family has always know is there. Wyatt and Shelby may come from different paths but the two of them are more alike than they realize and their chemistry is off the charts and something they actively fight at first. I loved the chance to dip back into this world and see these characters and meet even more and really feel Emerged into the world the author created. This book was a one firmer and one I didn’t want to put down once I started.

I loved Wyatt and Shelby. It’s a grumpy meets sunshine story you can’t miss. We pretty much pick up where we left off with Chase’s book. The encounter Shelby had with Wyatt after Chase’s wedding was less than stellar and left a bad taste in her mouth. Wyatt is a loner, he’s all business with a secret to hide, but loves his family unconditionally and when these two meet again, he hates how she makes him feel and he doesn’t know what to do with it. Both have trust issues, but Shelby is insecure and unsure why Wyatt would want her. Can she trust him, can Wyatt move past his past relationship to see what’s in front of him? When Shelby’s life takes a turn and Wyatt and others have to jump in to save her, will these two be able to open up and spill their feelings before it’s too late? I loved Xena the devil dog! No spoilers from me.

It is not long afterwards, some breaks into her home, she becomes targeted, Wyatt moves her in with him until they can find the person.
Soon these two become closer. We have action, romance, steam.

I just love when a grumpy man who’s 100% against love finds his match in a sunshine woman. “Billionaire Unreachable: Wyatt” is a sweet, romantic and thrilling billionaire romance that captured me right from the beginning.
Shelby has been living in San Diego for the last year after moving when her divorce was final. Working long days as a chef and getting her blog up and running, she hasn’t or wanted a relationship. But a grumpy man has caught her eye. Wyatt’s focus has been on his business and no relationships. But when Shelby’s apartment is broken into, Wyatt jumps into action to protect her and move her into his home. But as the two spend time together, an attraction and chemistry is clearly there.
I loved both Shelby and Wyatt from the very beginning. The two had an attraction that I could feel as I read and I couldn’t put the story down because I was dying for them to realize it. Shelby is genuine, sweet, and a caring person who I connected with. Wyatt is a the perfect grump and so caring and gentle with Shelby when she needed him the most. The plot twist of someone wanting Shelby was so good and I didn’t see it coming which I loved. J.S. Scott snuck that in perfectly. Their steamy scenes were delicious. I loved the ending and the epilogue perfectly wrapped up their story.

While yes, sometimes these billionaire stories become a little predictable, the ones from J.S. Scott are always enjoyable.
Billionaire Unreachable: Wyatt features one of my favorite tropes: grumpy & sunshine. Wyatt is a grumpy older brother that believes he’s destined to be alone. Shelby is the sunshine; she’s doing her best to live happily without using her family’s name or money. And I guess the way to a man’s heart really is through his stomach…since Shelby is a chef.
The storyline follows similarly to the previous in the series, always something bad happens and someone is kidnapped or in danger. But never fear, the billionaires are here. Is it believable? No. Did I still devour and enjoy the story? Yes.

Shelby and Wyatt’s story is the latest installment of the Billionaire Obsession series as well as being the fifth in the California group. I love these stories and this one is no different! Wyatt is so gruff and intimidating, but loved by his family and so well respected in the Last Hope group. Shelby, a chef and new to California, has become friends with Wyatt’s sister and sister-in-laws. After a disastrous first meeting, these two getting together seems like such a long shot. I love the writing and the Ms Scott characters are so multidimensional! Wonderful!

Wyatt is the oldest Durand sibling and is the grumpy alpha-hole that you want to get his happily ever after, but you aren't sure he will because of his surly attitude.
Shelby is a red-headed bombshell that puts him in his place from day one and leaves him with his mouth hanging open, trying to figure out what just happened.
This book isn't so much an 'enemies to lovers' as it is a 'got off on the wrong foot to lovers'. Shelby and Wyatt have a mid-level burn romance. Each has been burned by past relationships, and trusting anyone (outside family) is hard for both. But they slowly start to trust the other, and once they do...ignite the fire and watch the flames rise!
I absolutely adored the latest installment of Jan's Billionaires Obsession series! Shelby and Wyatt kept me turning pages, wanting to know what was going to happen next! Would they trust each other, or would one off-handed comment burn their budding love to ash?
They faced many obstacles, some caused by themselves, some by outside forces. But it was beautiful to watch their romance build into a burning passion we've come to love from Jan's books.

Anything new by JS Scott is always on my must-read list and she proved why once again with this story.
Wyatt and Shelby didn't get off to flying start, but they made up for it as they went along! They both seriously disliked the other after their first meeting, but misunderstandings and misconceptions were soon sorted out and their true personalities got a chance to be recognised.
Shelby and Wyatt worked really well together. She needed protecting and he was just the man to do it. I really enjoyed how their story progressed. It wasn't super fast, but rather it was appropriate for their story.
Wyatt has a reputation as being cranky and not terribly nice, but Shelby has him figured out pretty fast. Under the tough shell he's just a total softy. She needs help and he's there to provide it. He needs feeding and she's there to cook it! A perfect match.
And I think Wyatt might be my new favourite book boyfriend.

Wyatt and Shelby didn't get off to flying start, but they made up for it as they went along! They both seriously disliked the other after their first meeting, but misunderstandings and misconceptions were soon sorted out and their true personalities got a chance to be recognised.

You can't help but love the gruff Wyatt and the soft hearted Shelby. The chemistry for those two were off the chart so you know he was going alpha crazy when she was targeted by a psychopath. I now need some cousin love and look forward to making Kaleb my new book boyfriend. I can't wait for more from J.S. Scott!! This is a must read.

Billionaire's Obsession, Wyatt by J.S. Scott was probably one of my favorite billionaires. I love grumpy, bossy, hot ex military men. I loved Shelby. Taller, curvy and with issues for Wyatt to work through, except he had a few too. Fabulous! Kudos!

I enjoyed Wyatt and Shelby’s story. I liked that Shelby held her own with Wyatt. When they’re thrown together to help keep Shelby safe, she finds that Wyatt is so much more than his outward persona. By the time that they acknowledge that there was more to their relationship and taking it to the next level, they became friends. This was an easy read with characters that you learn to like. It’s nice to be able to catch up with the other members of Last Hope. Hopefully, we’ll be reading about the rest of Shelby’s family (along with Marshall).

I loved this book. Wyatt is a billionaire that comes across as harsh, Shelby and he didn’t have the best first impressions when they met. But he and her cousin are close and she’s now close friends with his family. Loved how they get to know each other before they finally decide to become a couple. Loved his protectiveness. Does she have a stalker? Can he keep her safe? Loved being surprised by who it was. Loved their happy ever after too. I voluntarily read an advanced readers copy I highly recommend this book. I love the writing style of this author and I always re read her books, they are great.

Another sceptic falling in love and having his HEA, a brilliant standalone book or as I like a continuation of other billionaire stories seeing how characters in other books you have loved develop whilst seeing stories unfold of new characters. Wyatt,

Shelby and Wyatt. I love this couple! Ms. Scott is a favorite author of mine and she proves over and over why I have become a lifelong fan. She has great stories that pull you in and make you remember why you read romance. From the first billionaire book to the current you won’t be disappointed!

Wyatt meets Shelby when she caters the food for his brother Chase’s wedding, unfortunately, they don’t get off to a good start. Shelby knows of Wyatt from her cousin but she’s moved to San Diego to make a fresh and new start and is determined to make something of herself🙂
When a break in to her apartment alerts Wyatt, he jumps in with both feet to protect Shelby and soon their attraction grows more intense as they spend more time together🥰 Even though Wyatt gives off the grumpy man vibe, I loved him and Shelby together….and I’m hoping her cousins are next.
