حجة الوداع كأنك تشاهدها

ابن حزم إمام في الحديث والأصول والفقه الظاهري، وقد أفرد كتابه هذا ليعرض أحداث حجة الوداع، فافتتح بسرد الأحداث، ثم بين دليله في حكاية كل حادثة من النصوص الحديثية التي يرويها بسنده إلى كتب السنة فجاء كالشرح للباب الأول، ثم عقد بابا لدفع ما قد يتوهم من التعارض في حكاية حجة النبي (صلى الله عليه وسلم) الوحيدة وقد أطال الكلام في دفع التعارض في : تاريخ خروجه من المدينة، وطيبه، ووقت دخوله مكة، وصفة طوافه وسعيه، وتكفين المحرم، وخطبته يوم عرفة على الراحلة أو المنبر، والأذان والإقامة في الجمع بعرفة ومزدلفة، وكيفية شربه من زمزم، وإهلاله إفراداً أو تمتعاً أو قراناً، ويوم الحج الأكبر وغير ذلك. وقد أورد فيه نحو "خمسمائة وستين" حديثاً وأثراً بأسانيده إليها.

Ibn Hazm (Arabic: ابن حزم) was an Andalusian Muslim polymath, historian, traditionist, jurist, philosopher, and theologian, born in the Córdoban Caliphate, present-day Spain. Described as one of the strictest hadith interpreters, Ibn Hazm was a leading proponent and codifier of the Zahiri school of Islamic jurisprudence, and produced a reported 400 works, of which only 40 still survive.

In all, his written works amounted to some 80,000 pages. Also described as one of the fathers of comparative religion, the Encyclopaedia of Islam refers to him as having been one of the leading thinkers of the Muslim world.
