Book 2 in the Otherworldly series.
Intelligent and possessed of a calm demeanour, Jack Mann is the best choice to lead the wolf shifters and as such is given the mantle of leadership. Alpha of the Black Ridge Pack and Supreme Alpha of all werewolf packs of the Northern Hemisphere he is accustomed to bending people to his will. When you stand 7’1 ¼” and weigh 320 pounds it’s not difficult to do so. Jack was completely badass in his wolf form. He was also badass in his human form but on top of that, he was lip-licking fine.
Destiny Smith was many things (vampire, mechanic extraordinaire, the vamp votes ‘most likely to accidentally usher in some kind of apocalypse’) but above all she is crazy. One-third of Trifecta, she has carved out a name for herself in vampire lore with pretty much everything she did and continues to do. While her sister Star was known for diplomacy and her sister Jaylee was known for fucking shit up, Destiny pretty much stayed in the background testing the boundaries of crazy and pimping out anything that had an engine.
The wedding of Astarla Hart and Commander Lukas Montague brings Jack and Destiny in direct contact with each other. Their first meeting is everything comedies are made of … and then some. In fact, it leaves the Alpha with a hard cock and a confused mind while leaving the Healer unfazed for the most part. Subsequent meetings only exacerbate the problem for Jack; Destiny is too busy getting into shit for it to bother her too much.
A night of passion makes Jack determined to have her and Destiny just as determined to avoid Jack. The problem is that Jack has never heard the word ‘no’ from a woman and Destiny has never said ‘yes’ to commitment. She’s also in love with his car. If it wasn’t for the pulsing heat between them they might’ve been able to go on pretending that they didn’t need each other.

I absolutely love this series and all books by this author. Destiny and Jack are hilarious and the attraction is intense from the first time they meet. In my opinion you should start off with the first book in the series to understand this one. I HIGHLY recommend this book as well as all books in the series.

This book will also be on my always to be read again list. I loved her crazy ass. I loved Jack. That's it. That huge piece of beef. Hmmmmm. Now ahhhhhh. Alright I had to do it.

Love this book. Enjoyed Destiny 's fierceness and her ability to have Jack in a loop. Jack love him too he was totally smitten by Destiny. All in all it's a good read. I'll recommend this to anyone

It was great to see Female character have some weakness to her male partner. It was touching to see this strong man go to lengthens to help his Woman. It was touching story.
