Because geeks have sex lives too... A renegade sysadmin looking for a way out of his boring job, Allard's escaped to space. Now he's on the Mary Sue, a spaceship with a slightly nutty crew of syndicalists who have an even more malevolent attitude toward traditional management structures than he does. Much to his surprise, Allard's found co-workers he actually likes, and a man he more than likes. Now Allard and his new love are getting married. But who's going to be the bride, and who the groom? And what will Mark wear? When the fitting's done, the parents settled, and the sex games are over, they'll be glad they found something blue.
Jules Jones is a British author of science fiction and erotic romance, mostly with m/m themes. Much of her work is cross-genre, being science fiction or fantasy with a strong romance element. Her day job is materials science, and it tends to show -- many of her characters are scientists, engineers, and sundry other geeks.

I write science fiction, fantasy and romance. I read *lots* of things.
My main library catalogue is over on LibraryThing, because I'm the sort of anal-retentive bibliophile who wants to record the exact print run and page count of my individual copy of a book. This account's always going to be a somewhat out of date and partial mirror. But it lets me put my book reading log up on GoodReads to share with my friends over here. :-)
The third enstallment of the series is a cup of sweet cream (like cream for hot chocolate, don't think bad!!!)
Allard and Vaughan become more and more tender... Allard himself become even sociable with others than Vaughan.
In this novel the real main character is Allard, Vaughan remains a little in the shadow: but, in fact, this is the "marriage" story and from the old times, the bride is the protagonist, and Allard is the "bride"!
The wedding night is one of the most tender sexual scene I have ever read even if it is not so erotic: all the series, for me, is more tender than erotic.
4.5 This review is for the whole series: Mostly one sex scene after another, but with fantastic geek humour and a clear relationship developing that makes it well worth reading.
