From the USA Today best selling anthology, Claimed Among the Stars , comes the full-length version of the once novella, Silver Sidhe !
The female wasn’t supposed to be mine. So why had every fiber of my being cried out for her? Ripped from my world and caged like a beast, my ancillary heart had been triggered to beat for a female who was not of Valose. Despite what should be a biological impossibility, I had somehow been awakened. Adrenalyne flooded through my veins, igniting a primal need to protect the female who shouldn’t be mine.
Sold as a couple to the highest bidder, we were to be entertainment for passengers aboard a pleasure cruiser. Despite her soft curves and frightened, trusting gaze, I refused to bond with the beautiful temptress for the amusement of an audience. I must fight the call of my spirit to hers and stay focused if I was to free us from this gilded cage and find a way back home to Valose before I give myself over to temptation.
Author Note : Silver Sidhe can be read as a standalone romance.
So basically we are introduced to Bree who barely talks about her twin sister and just is all happy to throw everything away for a male. So it was a few steps back for quality of FMC compared to others but with the recent rash of covering the worst females yeah it’s on par
This book was written from a dual perspective, switching back-and-forth between the main male and female characters. Written in first person by Iona Strom, SILVER SIDHE is the 11th book in Warriors of Valose Saga, and follows the Valosian alien Alexxon of Clan Huren and his human mate Breena.
Valosians resembled elves in human folklore, with long white hair and pointed pronounced ears, but with fangs and camouflaged scales instead of skin.
Admittedly, this is one of the better books of the series. I love how the author got away from her typical patterns for the couple. Having the couple in statis for a year, waking up in a slave auction, really added a new dynamic to their love story. I still don't understand how the slave traders figured out she was his spirit mate while they were both asleep, but whatever, I went with it. Their fight to get back to his home planet, along with the new alien characters they met, really made this book interesting. They weren't running from the same old boring villains and they made the most unlikeliest of companions. Alexxon's immediate need to protect Breena was swoonworthy. And I loved the image of his unique haircut.
This is officially my favorite book in the series, with the third book taking a close second.
I am still confused about the triangle shaped ridges at the base of the Valosian cock."When I reached the width of his base, my fingers teased a row of triangular-shaped flaps. To my delight, they raised like erogenous flags ready to tease my swollen clit." Are they like the arrow buttons on a remote control, pointing towards the head? Or is it more like the spikes down a stegosaurus' back, only triangular? Are they thick or thin? How high do they raise? How many are there? 11 books and I still don't know how to visualize those. Need more info Iona. 🫣😂
I guess this series is worth the time if this genre of books is in your wheelhouse. It has the perfect balance of adventure and romance so long as you are able to follow the confusing plot line. I'm looking forward to reading the spinoff from this book which takes place on emerald moon that Alexxon and Breena were marooned on, which is supposedly harboring a prison. That will be my next adventure. 😇🫶
Kind of ends in the middle of the story. They each get kidnapped, sold together as a mating pair, manage to get out of their cell, rescue some different aliens with a human female (set up for another book?), escape seperately from them from the spaceship, pod lands on a unknown moon, some caveman-looking dude with advanced tech comes their way, H and h hide in a tree, THE END. Sooo many questions!
This is book 11 and I’ve loved every book in this series so far and this one is brilliant and had me cheering for Alexxon and Breena. Alexxon is a Valose warrior who is serving and living in the City of Huren when he notices the Royal Council member Garrot acting strangely and so Alexxon follows him down into the basement when he sees Garrot talking to a strange being and when he is caught listening in he is captured and when he wakes he is in a cell with a human female who has activated his ancillary heart as his fated mate but she is human and it’s not possible so he believes he has been drugged and that’s why his body is reacting to the female. Breena is a human that’s been kidnapped with her twin sister Rowan by ugly aliens when they crush land on Valose but she is found and taken to the basement under the palace in city of Huren and now wakes up in a cell a huge silver alien who will be auctioned off as a mating pair for entertainment she heard the guards taking and before the alien walks up she looks around and they are in a clear cage where now other aliens are walking around and are staring them and now she hopes the silver aliens wakes up and he does and he moves away from her suddenly. Breena tells the alien what she overheard and he agrees they need to escape and when the auction starts the are soon sold as a mated pair and when they demonstrate that his second heart beat for the female and when the mate there swara’s appear on there body’s. Alexxon soon realizes that Breena is his true mate and he’ll do anything to keep her safe but will not complete the bond with others watching. All Breena wants is to see her sister again and stay with Alexxon on Valose but they have to get home first. How does it all turn out and do they escape and get back home and does Breena see her sister again. There is so much excitement, danger, drama and most importantly Love and definitely a must read as well as the others in the series I know you won’t be disappointed.
Alexxon is following another Valosian beneath the palace, when he's discovered. A grey being, known as a Gretolic using his power of persuasion, has taken over the minds of most of the residents. He's rendered unconscious n wakes up in a cave with a strange female creature he's never seen before. What's worse, his second ancilliary heart has been awaken, that only happens when a Valosian has found his spirit mate. But she's not from Valose, how's that possible? It must be another trick by those grey monsters, n yet he feels an overwhelming desire to comfort her as he senses her fear. Breena was alone in the cage for so long that she's surprised to find another thrown in the cage with her. She's afraid, yet at the same time, she feels that he won't hurt her. In fact she feels safe around him n wants to comfort him. Wait, where did that come from? Why do I feel the urge to do that? So far all these aliens have done was hurt n drugged me. What's so special about him n why does my chest hurt for thinking this? Together they're sold to a strange fish like species n caged in an enclosure, like a zoo specimen, so that their mating can be witnessed by the citizens. Only they escape the cage , finding out they're not on a planet but a spaceship. Said spaceship is now being fired upon by a battle cruiser. They have to find a way off the ship or be blown apart before their spirits have a chance to mesh. There're a lot of twists n turns in this story n a surprise ending. My compliments to the author for another fascinating book.
I am a huge fan of the Warriors of Valose series, and and in awe of Ms Strom's ability to weave a tale with such incredible detail that I feel I'm actually part of it, that I know these people. I am wholly vested in the Valosian's campaign save their world.
Alexxon and Bree's story is no different. Captured for the entertainment of others, the pair need to escape before they are forced to mate. Despite their fraught circumstances, something stirs between them, something neither is looking for - one is terrified, the other furious - but it refuses to be doused.
Freedom, a happily ever after, and a return to their respective worlds, seems impossible... which, of course, means they are going to attempt all three. I could not put it down, in fact, I was so riveted, I read it one sitting.. almost forgetting to breathe at some points.
This is an easy 5 stars... I cannot recommend this story and the entire series highly enough. Roll on the next book.
Loved this story when I first read it in Claimed Among the Stars anthology! Alexxon is a warrior of Valose and I fed and sold he wakes in a cage with a female that makes his second heart beat for the first time. Bree abducted and and caged with a huge silver warrior and to make make matters worse auctioned off to the highest bidder. The attraction is fierce and immediate but the desire to escape and get somewhere safe takes precedence. Trust and passion grow as the work together to save each other and find a way home to Valos. Bree and Alexxon make new friends as they face dangers and share passion and fall in love! I loved it so worth reading for a second time and the added pieces to the story just gave it more depth and meaning! Highly recommend🔥🔥💖💖🔥💖🔥💖🔥🔥💖💖🔥🔥💖💖🔥🔥💖🔥💖🔥💖🔥💖🔥💖💖🔥🔥🔥🔥💖💖🔥🔥
Bree was kept drugged and caged after she was captured. Soon, her days turned into nights, and she lost all concept of time, but something shifted when she woke to find she had a cellmate.
Alexxon was in the right place at the wrong time! Which gets him captured and thrown into a cage. When he wakes from his drug induced stupor, he also discovers he's not alone.
When they realize they're being held captive to mate in front of an audience, is when they plan their escape. Will their plan work? Or will they be forced to mate as entertainment for a willing audience.
Silver Sidhe is full of action-packed moments that had me holding my breath! It's a must read for all lovers of Sci-fi romance.
Love how this one has our handsome silver warrior but is off planet. Alexxon brings a whole new view of the beginning of the series as well as an dangerous and exciting story. Then there is Bree, our human female, who was kidnapped from Earth. But she finds herself in a whole different situation than the other human females. The two will face an adventure that will require luck and well a ingenuity to survive. We get to meet so many new characters and species as well as a few new human females. A great story that had all the romance and heat we have come to love from these warriors.
I read it in the Claimed among the stars collection and it made litttle sense because i see now it is the 11th? book in a series. Also it has no ending, it just stops mid story. if anyone ever sees my comment, please let me know if this story ever finds its end? I couldnt tell from the book reviews of the next books so i really dont want to start a series of unfinished stories 🫤 Why this story was in the collection and not book nr 1 I will never know 😅 Strange way to try to get awareness. For me it was kind of wasted time (for now)
I love this series so dang much! I love that Valose is finding their lost warriors! I can't wait for more! I am so thrilled Bree (Rowans twin) was found i cried big for that ijs. The whole story with Alexxon and Bree was pretty good definitely exciting to see how they delt with everything and the ending was just great!
I enjoyed Axxeon and Bree’s story so much. I was horrified that those frog like aliens wanted them to bond in front of an audience and was glad it didn’t happen. Their escape was intense and as their relationship grew so did the steam. I enjoyed the entire escapade and glad they made it back to Valose. I’m looking forward to the spin-off.
Not much I can really say but perfection! I have read the 10 books prior to this one and I love them all! When will I get abducted and find my Valosian spirit mate? If only we could actually be transported to these worlds not only within the pages of these beautifully written books!
Another great book in the Warriors of Valose saga! Brenna and Alexxon’s story is an action packed, suspenseful alien romance! I loved catching up with the characters from previous stories! I have enjoyed this series so much! I can’t wait to see what comes next from Iona!
In the 11th installment in the Valose saga, we travel off planet to rescue a kidnapped pair. This one is fast "insta-love" but it worked and didn't feel super rushed. I enjoyed Breena and Alexxon are a great addition to this world. I look forward to more!
Bree finds herself abducted then sold, then caged with a enigmatic silver male Allexon. As fates would have it the two are mates and their tumultuous events are just beginning.
This book of the series takes us away from Valose and introduces us to brand new worlds and creatures. The descriptions are painted so vividly. Most certainly the fated mates live HEA!
Bree and Alexxon have both been abducted. Now both are thrown together to put on a show for aliens. A mating show! No way, no how! Yep they manage to escape but all does not go well! Enjoy
I enjoyed reading this story, which was part of the Claimed Among the Stars anthology. This book is the 11th in the Warriors of Valose series. It's on Kindle Unlimited. My only gripe about it is that it's a cliffhanger. I hope that the next book tells me what finally happened to Bree and Alexxon.
I was happy to hear one of the stolen warrior was back to his home and with an addition with him, and Bree founding her sister!!! I was happy to hear that other Nomadican were safe and had found a mate!!! Pretty cool book!!!! 🥰🥰🥰🥰💜💜💜💜👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
The story just keeps getting better. The characters continue to be charming, courageous & sexy. The situations are extreme & the rescues are truly epic. Can't wait for the next book.
With each book written by MS Storm is a revelation in the imagination of her mind and her writing. She must be part Alien to write such riveting books and the escapeds of these Aliens and their Spirit mates
This series gets better with every book. I love the stories and the characters. The characters are always so interesting. I can’t wait to read the next book in this series.
I need more Stars for this awesome sci-fi romance adventure! Wonderful characters that are so real that you could reach out and touch them. Spicy, sweet, and absolutely swoonworthy!
Really loved the MMC for this. He’s probably my favorite so far, and it wasn’t even that focused on him. FMC is meh. The book title was used by the FMC as a pet name several times and it’s super cringy.
