This is a great book for any baseball fan. It has interesting essays and articles by scholars, writers, historians, and even musicians about their connection and personal perspective/experience of the game. The pictures are absolutely beautiful, too.

Picked this up at a Library sale for $2! Gorgeous photography (what else would you expect from National Geographic?) and thought- provoking essays on all facets of our national game.
