Deadly Perversions

Rate this book
Everyone has a secret... What's yours? Maybe it's a weird trivial fetish other people would find peculiar, even perverted. It's the age of the high speed internet and a company called Talon has created some of the most sophisticated Cybersex software the world has ever seen. Just log in, pop on the 3-D glasses and immerse yourself in decadence. Be anyone you want to be, but be careful. There's something nasty out there, and it kills so quickly that some are still smiling when they go down! Everyone has a secret...and those of you who say you don't, probably have the most of all!

Arquette continues to spam Goodreads users (including kids) about his latest book. If you look at user-submitted questions (on Operation Hail Storm), you can see there are many people who have received multiple copies of his spam letter, all from quickly-deleted accounts. This is in clear violation of Goodread's Terms of Service. This IS NOT how a good author gets the word out about his book. If you have received spam from one of his deleted accounts, please report him here

The most original and twisted plot imaginable -- perfect movie material. And I WAS THERE while it was being written! The author, Brett Arquette, read it to me, chapter by chapter, gloating at my horrified expressions as he read me the lurid sex scenes. And then, he dedicated it to ME -- "A woman who will always lovingly be known to us as 'The Mighty Mother,' my mother, Lois Duncan.'" (Not for the squeamish. Read at your own risk.)

Good story....Abysmal editing

This was an entertaining read. The hard part was ignoring the unbelievably numerous grammatical and spelling errors. It is conceivable that the text was created entirely by voice recognition software, but it is obvious that no one ever proofread the manuscript.

I really liked this book, very interesting concept and certainly plausible. Aside from a ton of spelling errors, it was a good read, not suitable for young adults, but very entertaining. I've really enjoyed both of the books I've read by this author, they're extremely different from each other in genre but both very good.
